I really enjoy seeing your yard sales vlogs.
Another wonderful video! And I absolutely love seeing Jeff on all of your adventures ❤
Denby Chatsworth was my set I collected when I was getting married….i got most of it as seconds from the denby factory shop we lived near to back then
Ooo there's my Cadbury mug. Thanks for finding it!!
So m7ch fun treasure hunting vicariously through yeveryoer u and so much ceaper on fuel ĺots and lots of driving in Australia xxx cheri
lol… yes that’s one plus 😄
Just realised watching your video . Have never seen these kind of sales in the uk . ❤
They’ve become increasingly more popular in the last few years.
I’ve never seen them in Scotland. Maybe our frequent monsoons put people off?😢
The cutlery should go well, if hall mark states solid silver. Can be a bit of a minefield trying to identify the hallmarks. Just remember to weigh it! Good luck.
I think it will be a good learning exercise 🙂
We have no yard sales at all in Scotland , unless someone on here tells me otherwise , I look all the time for them . I’m in a fb group but all in England . Great finds x
You may have to start the trend 🙃
I thinking your long silver spoons could be grapefruit spoons ?
Yes, I think they are for grapefruit… 👍👍
Ah ok, thank you 🙂
Fun video. It would be nice to have a follow up video in the future where you can look back at the items and then update us with what you find out and how much it sells for - if not too much work! My favourite was the blue case as well - stunning.
Some great finds! The pony is Posey.
Thanks Natalie 🙂
Hi Andrea….so many lovely finds this week… and , as you said so many more you could have picked up too!!… quite overwhelming… and tempting… and great prices!!!….thought you would be delighted with the hornsea ‘heirloom’… no brainer 😃🙁…And That stunning blue ceramic vase… a beauty…will have another run through to count how many other things I would have wanted to snap up??… One ..would have been the Wedgwood otter(?).. beautiful … didn’t catch how much he wanted for it??….think it is a quite uncommon one… and worth £35 - £40 …?!…was worth getting. Also some Crown Derby too… Anyway, well done with the many other treasures you did get 👌👌👍👍…. sue(Bham)
Thanks Sue. The Wedgwood Otter has sold for £20 so although i regret not picking it up I’ve learned something for another time. I actually found a Wedgwood owl in a charity shop for the same price so I picked that up having gained that knowledge 😊
@@andreahills74 oh great… Well done you, Andrea 👏👏
Love that lamp and the Cadbury's mug too! There was an old Imari sugar bowl you moved to look at the strawberry plate, I'd have got that, the matching milk jug was in the background while you were looking at the otter. Which I would've bought too! Also the green platter at 20:22 had Clarice Cliff vibes? It was just cool, I mentally added that to my basket LOL As you can tell I am not much of a 'draw the line' person, 😅I'm probably just a bit starved being in Australia...
I could honestly have kept going 😄
The Denby plate id Chatsworth, LOVE the mantle vase! I shall be interested to hear if those spoons are actually silver. I keep buying them thinking they're fully hallmarked, only to find they are silver plate hallmarks.
It’s going to be a good learning exercise 🙂
Oh, fab, I was afraid you put the Britamic back!
Good finds like the pottery would of picked the rest up
The Yard Sales are so less frantic than Boot Sales.
More personable as well.
Running out of money is where you draw the line 😮
Not sure what you mean? I don’t remember saying that we were running out of money, because we weren’t. Nic was keen to move on to the next house if that’s the part you mean?
@@andreahills74Sorry if I was unclear. You mentioned drawing a line on buying at the sale. I don't stop till there's nothing left I want or until I'm out of money whichever
comes first 😊
That's where I draw the line
It was intended a friendly comment.
I can understand moving on too to see what else is there
@@dennisferguson9129 ah ok, sorry to be confused 🙃 to be honest I’d have kept looking but then I realised that Nic was in the car ready to move on 😆
Could you put where those yard sale was please?
This was Heathlands in Norfolk
@@andreahills74 thank you.
@@andreahills74 thanks
Are you English?❤
Yes 🙂
