Plot:
Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Living on Earth in 1995, she keeps having recurring memories of another life as U.S. Air Force pilot Carol Danvers. With help from Nick Fury, Captain Marvel tries to uncover the secrets of her past while harnessing her special superpowers to end the war with the evil Skrulls.

Captain Marvel is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers. At 1:59 when she shoots a photon blast out of her left hand to get the character off of her, notice her hair lights up on fire when that happens play it in slow mo to notice. That is such a cool detail.
I just like how it changes color from blue to red as it loses it's intensity.

I loved the movie and Captain Marvel. Sure it's not perfect but it was fun to me and it touched something in me

The music makes it more interesting, and gung ho... Also it sends a natural message; she's just a girl. Who didn't ask for those powers, of course. But she has them for a reason... To end the war they're fighting. And so much more.

@@scottyjdog8308 I don't know if you're talking about the character or the actress, because internet trolls who keep insisting that this movie sucked in spite of being both a financial and critical success don't seem to make much distinction anyway. But the actress is actually really cool, extremely talented, and the character was a lot of fun to watch. At no point was she really any more "wooden" than Captain America acted in his first few outings, and even then there was a very clear narrative reason for it.
And for the record, I've lost track of how many times I've rewatched that "Hey, Peter Parker." clip. If that earns me the same petulant insult you like throwing around, I will wear it as a badge of pride.

Brie did some good acting in this role, especially here, but the pinball machine and Nerf gun on a space station just make it all a little too silly for me.
Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman stepping out of the WWI trenches is still pretty safe as _my_ favorite suddenly awesome woman superhero combat scene.

Anyone realize that the Kree are as close to the Empire as you can get. They had lightsabers, ships that look like Imperial Star Destroyers, have shields, warheads that can destroy planets and can jump into hyperspace. Ronan became Vader to Thanos' Palpatine. Basically Star Wars but from the perspective of a disillusioned Imperial.
Brie Larson, the most beautifull woman in the world. I love her.
Energy blasts in the MCU are always hilariously inconsistent.
The same blast that cuts through reenforced metal only knocks a dude down a second later.

Maybe she is in control of the power and output of each blast....? Maybe.....?
As much as i love the MCU i must admit they're pretty bad at making consistent power levels, just look at Iron Man, dude goes toe to toe with the god of thunder in the first Avengers film, beats the Hulk in hand in hand combat in the sequel but loses to Cap and Bucky (who are way less powerful than Thor and Hulk) in Civil War and then he somehow holds his own against Thanos.
Finally there are some heroes who would completely destroy everyone if they actually used their powers properly, Doctor Strange could trap people in time loops and have them fall indefinetly through portals (like he did with Loki in Ragnarok) and Ant Man could easily kill anyone by going inside their ear and growing back to size.

@@lucasdellamaggiore First off, yes he went toe to toe with Thor, but Thor was obviously not out for blood and was holding back. In addition Thor’s lightning made his suit stronger. He needed a mega suit just to match up to the hulk, and with Cap and Bucky he was still nursing some serious injuries from the airport fight so he was not at 100%.
