The main reason for Ghost Love Score being the main entrance into Floor's nightwish is that it shows off many aspects of how she can sing (although she is not doing her death growls). The Poet and the Pendulum and especially The Greatest Show on Earth are other songs where she shows off what she can do with her voice and personality. But there is nothing wrong with getting to know Floor's abilities one by one in shorter songs. Btw GLS was number 13 is a 15 song setlist and you won't hear fatigue in her voice. There are many reasons why the Wacken performance was special. One is that she was singing a setlist with songs that were all composed before she joined. Almost nobody in the crowd would have heard her sing with NW. The internet not being yet what it is today, no fan made recordings yet the next day. She only toured with NW in the America's and some small European festivals. She does reinterpret everything she sings. For all the songs she does in Wacken there are also interpretations from Tarja and Anette, and some prefer those. But having this huge audience where many know the songs but do not know how she will interpret them and her doing something better than what they expected might be a huge factor in that night being magically.
Since Floor attended and graduated from the Conservatory of Classical Singing and Musical, as well as the Rock Academy, she is of course technically excellently trained. I can assure you from my own experience that Floor is able to sing 2 shows right behind each other without her voice breaking or getting tired. I would be very happy if you would continue to pay attention to Nightwish and Floor. There have been many line up changes with Nightwish, and personally I prefer the Wakken 2013 lineup because of who's in it. Floor had only been in the band less than a year and she started mid tour having 48hrs to learn the set list, Marko singing with her, and Tuca on drums. I admit Sleeping Sun is one of my favorites and It became one back with the second vocalist Anette before Floor. But I have to admit whole heartedly I wasn't a big fan because of the previous singers. Very talented vocalist both of them but not personally pleasurable. Then apon rediscovering them after Floor had joined was what elevated them to my second favorite band of all time.(behind only the mighty band "Tool") The music and alot of the lyrics come from Tohmas, the keyboardist. Ghost love score is a favorite because it truly is a score. It has ups downs, and can be described as EPIC. It definitely doesn't have ti to be first but it truly is a disservice if you don't hear it at all. I would use closed caption on the live Wakken performance and it opens up a whole new level of that song. Love the videos, can't wait to see more reactions 😀
Very difficult, if not impossible to have too much Nightwish. Sleeping sun a beautiful track, whether Tarja or Floor (Floor broke down while singing it a few months ago after her cancer worries). But sound out Andra Ariadna’s cover, that is also a beautiful rendition and video.
Aside from Trans Siberian Orchestra, Pink Floyd and Styx, I have had precious little exposure to symphonic rock, but i find it very intriguing and the audiences seem to be part of the experience. Flor is stunning as a vocalist, and her range seems to be infinite. Then there is that leather negligee......IMO. Diva is one of those words like "woman" which has been hijacked and twisted. I think it used to mean great fenale opera singer, and now it means needy snobbish brat. But twisting the language is a means to control us, and the rules change every day.
It is your channel, Say what you feel, no matter somebody does not love it. Her outfits are always incredible. See the outfit in the concert in Buenas Aires 2018 especially.
Floor's live performances are better than most singer's studio work and it's very enjoyable to see them interact with each other and the crowd. I have two cats and I love their crazy moments where they just tear all around the house. Fun for them and fun for me. 😊🤘

Nightwish has been my favorite metal band for many, many years. I love Tarja's original version. Floor's version is also beautiful. But my favorite version is Dan Vasc's. I just can't help myself.❤
I would argue,about wacken 2013, that people just watch the order of songs that are on the dvd,the opening is stellar and if you realize that "GHS" is the 13th song it's even more impressive what Floor did after a lot of heavy belting and "the last ride..." as ending is also a "relevant"song,but hey, feel free to watch/listen in any order you want. I myself did some mixing in the sense of Floor's singing,so,watched 2 or 3 songs Nightwish and watched some solo/other stuff of Floor to get an idea where she was coming from,and that worked well,i was/am very impressed with her versatillity. 😉🤘
We in the UK/Europe (at least I do) feel sorry for all the Americans who have missed out on the talent in European music, particularly metal. It arguably has the best singers and musicians. Once you have found it your ears are opened up to a whole new new world. A complete change from the conveyor belt of mundane music Stateside. That's my opinion and others may disagree of course. Epica are another group which may have been suggested to you.
I am a huge Floor Jansen fan and I really prefer her versions to those of the her predecessors, however this is the one exception. Tarja's version of this on end of an era live is soul shaking. You really owe it to yourself to hear that version.
Nothing wrong with starting at another point. I would have suggested “Vilja Lied” from Beste Zangers. Nothing like watching people being completely and absolutely wrong about a metal singer.

Sleeping Sun was launched on 11th of August 1999, the same day with the solar eclipse which occured in part of Europe and Asia that year.
If you wonder about Floor's vocal stamina, listen to the set ending song of their last round of tours, "Ad Astra" at Hellfest in France in 2022.
