He showed in book on Vietnam that Ho Chi Minh of North Vietnam was a mass,-murderer of landlords in the 1950s.

Why? He's known to not do proper research and perpetuate myths that have been debunked. You must not be much of a historian and more just a history "teacher" regurgitating nonsense that you were told to believe.

Ken needs to do a documentary of the Silent Movie years from 1888 to 1929.

Not a big country music fan, but Ken's docu-series was utterly fascinating, compelling, and riveting. Could listen to Marty Stuart talk for hours. This man is a National Treasure. He should be the first documentarian given the AFI Life Achievement Award and the Kennedy Center Honors.

Ken Burns was so valuable to my child's education. ❤. Really. 🙏that American buffalo is restored to original population. Horrified that they were slaughtered just to slaughter. Same era as cattle drives to Meat Yards of Chicago. Evil. Era of Cattle Barons & Oil ~ inhumane brutalization of immigrants particularly Lithuanians, Poles, Germans, Czechoslovakians and Irish. No heat no medical care no proper housing no rest.

This makes me happy...I always wonder what America would be like if we just adapted to the local fauna and embraced the way that First Nations did their meat/farming/cultivation. It kinda makes me angry sometimes because I'd much rather be eating deer than beef most of the time I think.
@Ken Burns: I don't know...didn't Genghis Khan have a hunt with something like 250,000 people involved? :) Might be up there statistically. But the wasting of the Buffalo was such a needless tragedy for sure, and the only example of intentional genocide of an animal that I know of. (Well...the native pigs of Haiti thing was more recent...) (I also like to imagine that some of the remnants of megafauna of previous times were hunted down by Knights trying to prove themselves slaying dragons.)

I thought the interview & clip were both extremely "un-vapid" aka exciting & lively. If you don't think charging buffalo are lively then you don't understand the basic laws of physics.
