58 YO Male on carnivore for 10 months. I have lowered my BP from 160/110 to 130/85, and resting heart rate from 80 to 65BPM, and lost over 50 lbs.
Regained lost flexibility, strength, and physical coordination.
Sleep is consistently good in both quality and quantity and stopped snoring.
Libido is amazing and I feel about 30 years younger than my actual age.
I am not paying anyone for anything related to my health improvements except for my local grocery store.
I no longer have to toss spoiled food so I am actually saving money while eating the most satisfying and sustaining foods I have ever enjoyed.
Try it and see for yourself. Thanks for sharing your own experiences and keep up the good work.

I am a 59 year old man. I have been on the carnivore diet for about 5 years. However, I almost always eat raw meat and offal... For example, I eat raw liver, which is a natural multivitamin. I also eat raw brain marrow, it's very delicious. And I drink fresh blood whenever I can, because it's a natural energy drink!
I also eat certain insects raw: crickets, grasshoppers, locusts, mole crickets, cicadas, wasp larvae, May beetles, mealworms, superworms, etc. And I swallow live earthworms without batting an eye if there's nothing better, because my hobby is "survival in extreme conditions". Anyway, I've been sleeping on a hard surface for about 26 years, practically on a wooden floor.
I am an extreme minimalist, I hardly have more stuff than can fit in a large military backpack. I live in 14 square meters only, including the bathroom. I am able to afford more luxurious lifestyle, but I like it that way. I don't like the consumerist idiocy of the consumer society.
Since I've been on this diet, I've lost weight, my pre-diabetes is gone, my deep depression is gone, I'm full of energy... and my blood count is so good that the doctor shook his head, saying he can't believe what he's seeing, because this blood count is so good that even a twenty-year-old, vigorous, sporty young man could envy it, although I'm 59 years old, it "should" have some fault... but there isn't!
Last Christmas, a cat was hit by a car right in front of me. My eyes lit up, I took the kitten's carcass home, then skinned it... And ate it all, raw! Oh, how wonderfully delicious it was! And how wonderful I felt afterwards! Obviously, because even the domestic cat is half wild, it feeds much more diversely than the animals whose meat you can buy in supermarkets, and thus the cat's meat is tastier and has a higher vitamin content...
Ever since then, I've been thinking back nostalgically to my "Christmas cat", Mother Nature's Christmas gift...
But I have also caught shrews, rats, moles, etc... I have eaten them all. They were delicious...

Holy shit! Im a 64 yo carnivore, but man, you are king of the carnivores! Drinking blood? Hell of a vampire too!

    • @carnivorecaveman
      @carnivorecaveman 4 месяца назад

@@johnallen7367 The truth is that although I really only started the carnivore diet "officially" about 5 years ago, i.e. when I was about 54 years old, but as far as drinking (fresh) blood is concerned, it was nothing new to me, because I have to say that English is not my native language. I am Hungarian, although at the moment I am polluting the environment with my presence in the USA. And among us Hungarians, village pig slaughtering is still quite ordinary today, but it was especially common when I was a child! And as a small child, I always held the jar to the wounded pig's neck while the adults held down the squirming animal, so that I could catch the blood that leaked out, so that it wouldn't go to waste... Because in Hungarian cooking, blood is used to make all kinds of delicious things. And so, every time I got a generous amount of blood, because I could always drink as much as I wanted from the jar... I often drank a whole liter of it!
So drinking blood was nothing new to me. I admit, I had a much harder time trying to swallow live earthworms. But when I finally did it, I was just amazed that "I was afraid of this"?! After all, it's all very simple, and there's nothing terrible about it...
Where I currently live in the USA, Mexican guest workers also live in the area. And they named me “Chupacabra” because of my raw carnivore diet. This is supposed to be the name of some blood-drinking mythological creature in South America, in the folklore there.

When you go to eat carbohydrates, you have to make sure that it’s a 5 to 1 carb fiber ratio and most whole food seeds and tubers when you combine your dish has that ratio naturally. For example, if you eat wild black rice and garbanzo beans collectively it’s 5/1 carb to fiber. It’s OK for humans to eat whole food, whole-grain carbohydrates within a healthy macro range throughout the day. Also future information for you fiber is a subset of carbohydrate, as well as sugar carbohydrates on the macro, nutrient label, encompasses sugar, and so if you know how to do the calculation you can research how much starch is in each product. I’m from your future little boy.

I'm on carnivore as well but this is not entirely true information. Plants like sweet fruits are sweet and 'tasty' to humans expressly because they want animals to eat them to poop their seeds elsewhere to spread their seed. This is why the flesh of an animal is sweet but the seed is bitter. We're supposed to poop them out or spit them out elsewhere so the plant can spread to other areas beyond the tree that bore a particular piece of fruit. Interestingly, all animals by contrast don't want you to eat them. Tons of species of animals are not digestible to humans (i.e., bats, frogs, etc.). The difference is that eating (especially ruminant) animals involves more nutrient density, reduced inflammation, etc.

The goal is to keep the blood chemistry healing… and the best way to do that is through food. Just ask yourself before you take a bite of food… Is this going to be healing or inflammatory? the beauty of that Is your decision reflects your psychology; are you a healing person or a toxic person? I’m a healing person, therefore I consume healing food… now, even if you say you’re healing but you eat toxic food that’s proven to be inflammatory it’s not gonna work, that’s called be a liar and a form of cognitive dissident that’s gunna cause you your life but Yolo

11:01 this is the thing your attitude is correct. It’s just gotta be on the animal product right now you’re conflating and your demonizing the wrong thing. This is your subconscious trying to wake you up and let you know there is something toxic in your life, but it’s not plants it’s what you’re currently eating and I’m gonna let you know. You really gotta be smart because one of the two Americans have coronary vascular disease and one of three have diabetes and you’re just eating a version that’s causing that at an accelerated rate, your advice is toxic, and it’s not clinically proven in any kind of way to heal or be sustainable and lead to longevity

So the video you linked is not evidence. There are no SR/MAs that conclude any benefit to a carnivore-style diet. The guy presenting in the video you lined has financial incentive to promote this lifestyle, evidenced by his sponsors and affiliations. If you personally feel better eating only meat and eggs, that's great and you should keep it up until you no longer feel better, but this diet is not supported by literature or expert consensus. Getting most of your calories from minimally processed/refined foods including vegetables, fruits, lean meats, legumes, seeds, and whole grains is a dietary recommendation that is supported by evidence. Does not mean everyone needs to eat a Mediterranean-style diet, but this is what is most evidence-based.
Source: PhD in molecular biochemistry, registered dietician (no longer practicing), and my doctoral thesis was on the relationship between saturated fatty acids from meats and lifespan/morbidity.

99.99999 percent of what you see in supermarkets simply does not exist in nature. It's all artificial, food-like artificial concoctions. They are full of substances such as MSG, which is a "lying compound", meaning it tricks your natural sense of taste.

If you’re not worried about cholesterol, then you’re basically saying I don’t subscribe to normal blood tests, which is pretty much cognitive dissident if you asked the doctor. That’s why I love Whole Foods plant based vegan because it was created and clinically proven to work by a food scientist/cardiologist and I can take all the blood test anytime and pass them unlike you carnivore which shows that there’s something wrong and unsustainable with your lifestyle. Also, where are you getting all of your vitamins and minerals and if you say a pill that’s not sustainable either unless the pill is plants
