Hi Karin. Christmas was a very quiet one here with us and as I live in a subtropical climate it gets HOT at christmas. As I am from German heritage I still enjoy the European foods and was almost drooling at the sight of your traditional food. I enjoyed seeing all your phal spikes and blooms but am keen to see your Cymbidum Ice Cascade when it's fully opened and at its best colour. I struggle with my 2 cymbidiums, we don't really always get a good cool down that they need to start the spike. Many years a spike starts then we get a hot spell and the spike rots, so it's a long wait for the next blooming season. There are some varieties that can take the warmer growing conditions but for a once a year bloom show, if you can get it, I can't be bothered. I prefer to admire your beautiful blooms and concentrate my effort on growing phals indoors. I'm sorry this has been a long comment but I'll end by wishing you the very best for 2025 and look forward to many more years with you on YT. 🎉
@@renatecormick7399 Don't apologize for a long comment 😍 Well I see yiir point regarding the cymbs. As I saifmd these are my first time successful rebloomimg on a cymbidium. But obviously she blooms longer than I imagined. Dec-june! Now I can see the coerulea tone a bit better and the flowers on the spike are slowly getting more pale. I guess I'm way 2 proud not to show her in every future video from now on ! Summer and hot om christmas sounds a bit strange but we did have 10 celcius today as well. Very unusual. Well, Happy New Year and we shall talk soon then ❤️
