Forget about short sleeves and pants. Buy small belts with velcro (for cyclist) and wear them around your legs so fleas will not have access to your skin. If necessary, around your wrists too but fleas target mostly legs. Do not feed the fleas with your own blood. It's one of the first precaution to take if not the first.
Put a finger up if you decided to foster 4 stray kittens and you find out they have fleas and after you bottle fed them at 10 PM, you were so tired you forgot to change your clothes and wash up and ended up going to bed. You wake up at 2:30 and feel something crawling on your shoulder, it’s a flea. You get out of bed take a shower and change. You’re scared to go back on your bed and am now waiting for everyone else to wake up to warn them at 4:15 am. ☝️
They don't drown by the way. My wife and I have tested putting them in water. They swim for hours. But then we have indestructible teenage mutant ninja fleas. NOTHING kills these things.

My aunt has fleas and because I watch her kids I'm like the god damn host running back and forth from her house to mine, and her kids are also, so it's not just me. She's only bombed her house, but hasnt vaccummed, washed her clothes, or done anything else so the investation is still at large.

you have no idea. washing clothes, hair everyday with regular shampoo kills fleas by drowning them but the eggs stay in your hair, some thing with pets. I have a cat he stopped scratching after I rubbed his fur with mixture of mint and clove oil. I put some mint mix inside my hat, immediately the fleas run from top of my head down to my neck and bit me. that conirmed the fact that I have fleas. Right away washed my hair with lot of shampoo rubbing my scalp for about half an hour and dry it with hairdryer, this made the eggs hatch. My cat is still not scratching himself and we couldn't found any fleas on him. DE worked, after putting it down I found dead fleas front of my armchair where I was sitting the night before. I am thinking to put food grade DE in my hair (mint mix gives me a headache) to get rid of fleas in my hair. I have frontline plus on my cat since I got him, that doesn't seems to work at all.

I had one of my legs extensively tattooed, meaning my very hairy leg had to be shaved. Whilst I was still getting rid of the fleas and treating my cat, my hairy leg continued to get bitten but the shaved leg didn't. Is this just coincidence or is there a reason. What do you think?
Unfortunately no, i continued to get bitten even when my legs were shaved :( what i have been doing to prevent flea bites is setting a flea trap in the room when i sleep and rubbing either lemon on my legs or spraying flea repellent on them. That usually keeps them away.
Hi so I have wirey hair and fleas keep getting trapped in my hair, I don't know when one is there and then lays eggs. Have you heard of this before ? Before I know it there hatching and then my head is a mess and sore. We live on the back of a field, I've done the grass with diamastous earth in my yard. There is a feral cat that lives around where we live. My dog is treated with bravecto every 3 months, my house is sprayed with indorex, but the odd one seems to jump on me if I'm having cuddle time with my dog. I don't know what else I can do other than stay away from my dog. I'm in the UK, and fleas have gone crazy here this year, no one knows why, but I'm suffering like mad, I comb my hair with a nit comb daily and shampoo my hair but it doesn't seem to kill the eggs and there hatching at different stages. Have you got any advise pls what I cab use it kill the eggs, nit lotion doesn't seem to kill the unhatched eggs. Thanks I will wait a reply

NO pets large desert lot with alot of wild animals bunnies, round tailed ground squirels, pack rats, Quail, occasional bobcat and occaisonally javelinas wild desert pigs. Tracked them into house on my knit capris aargh crawling on feet, pricking feet ankles 5 weeks today! Mega rains here from Monsoon storms got almost or 12 inches in one month! Vail, AZ southern AZ have fogged twice, going to fog a thired time Precor foggers have also had pest control guy put down granules in back yard and gravel and front side yard Bifen LP water in. Baking both cars outside 96 degrees today! Put diatomaceous earth in my car next we are going to bomb both cars too when the foggers come in. This sucks SO bad! This weekend going to apply Alpine PT spray to 3 carpeted rooms and rest of house is large ceramic tile 3 car garage has epoxy coating on it! These things are really diabolical rank right up there with bed bugs very hard to eradicate! :( never had lice nor bed bugs thank God but thuis is the second time with this house from all these desert critters around here! Going to put house up for sale next year after fixing it up and move away from the country! Aargh! :(
I've got thick rasta-style dreadlocks (like Bob Marley), they definitely can get in your hair... I can wash my hair thoroughly & hours later i'm back itching again smh... I never actually saw any fleas in my hair (my scalp isn't visible), I only see fleas on my arms & legs.. But that's the only explanation why my hair itches so much..

you most likely have human fleas the females will go under your skin temporarily and produce a powerfully scent that attracts male human fleas and the male burrows in with the female and they will mate while staying under the skin (which typically takes 30 minutes) afterwards the male will burrow back out and find another female under your skin, they can "do" about five females a day then the pregnant females will lay shit loads of eggs on the surface to complete the cycle and they will continue the cycle until your get rid of them and they are extremely hard to. I would recommend showering a lot more and using lemon scented bodywash also if you have fleas on your pets aswell then I hate to break it to you but cat fleas and human fleas will coexist together TRUST me I know from experience also human fleas are picky as hell so you probably may not see anyone else get bit.
I'd have to stay in the shower all the time. Soon as I get out they after me again. I've used the bombs upstairs and downstairs. The only thing that works for me is Repel deet 40.
I literally just figured out I had fleas on me so this could help like they are hopping around and I'm not the person to mess with if it,s a bug like bedbugs ticks or any other ones that like blood cuz I will pop them but this helped

A tip: fleas hate the lavender scent, I always put lavender lotion on my whole body so I won’t get targeted by them.

Ahh that's why. When our dog was here he was scratching very crazy but when we sent him to my in-laws all our feet are now covered with flea bites.

Hi so I have wirey hair and fleas keep getting trapped in my hair, I don't know when one is there and then lays eggs. Have you heard of this before ? Before I know it there hatching and then my head is a mess and sore. We live on the back of a field, I've done the grass with diamastous earth in my yard. There is a feral cat that lives around where we live.
My dog is treated with bravecto every 3 months, my house is sprayed with indorex, but the odd one seems to jump on me if I'm having cuddle time with my dog. I don't know what else I can do other than stay away from my dog. I'm in the UK, and fleas have gone crazy here this year, no one knows why, but I'm suffering like mad, I comb my hair with a nit comb daily and shampoo my hair but it doesn't seem to kill the eggs and there hatching at different stages. Have you got any advise pls what I cab use it kill the eggs, nit lotion doesn't seem to kill the unhatched eggs.

I have a dog and because of monsoon, there is a number of flees....this happens every monsoon...i only see bitting marks and the worst part my skin is very sensitive so it leaves marks.. too much information....
NO pets large desert lot with alot of wild animals bunnies, round tailed ground squirels, pack rats, Quail, occasional bobcat and occaisonally javelinas wild desert pigs. Tracked them into house on my knit capris aargh crawling on feet, pricking feet ankles 5 weeks today! Mega rains here from Monsoon storms got almost or 12 inches in one month! Vail, AZ southern AZ have fogged twice, going to fog a thired time Precor foggers have also had pest control guy put down granules in back yard and gravel and front side yard Bifen LP water in. Baking both cars outside 96 degrees today! Put diatomaceous earth in my car next we are going to bomb both cars too when the foggers come in. This sucks SO bad! This weekend going to apply Alpine PT spray to 3 carpeted rooms and rest of house is large ceramic tile 3 car garage has epoxy coating on it! These things are really diabolical rank right up there with bed bugs very hard to eradicate! :( never had lice nor bed bugs thank God but thuis is the second time with this house from all these desert critters around here! Going to put house up for sale next year after fixing it up and move away from the country! Aargh! :(

I've got thick rasta-style dreadlocks (like Bob Marley), they definitely can get in your hair... I can wash my hair thoroughly & hours later i'm back itching again smh... I never actually saw any fleas in my hair (my scalp isn't visible), I only see fleas on my arms & legs.. But that's the only explanation why my hair itches so much..

I am one of those people that fleas love. As a matter of fact I do the bathing, the pest control, the spraying, and more, but I still have them. Right now a flea got inside my skin. What else can I do?
you most likely have human fleas the females will go under your skin temporarily and produce a powerfully scent that attracts male human fleas and the male burrows in with the female and they will mate while staying under the skin (which typically takes 30 minutes) afterwards the male will burrow back out and find another female under your skin, they can "do" about five females a day then the pregnant females will lay shit loads of eggs on the surface to complete the cycle and they will continue the cycle until your get rid of them and they are extremely hard to. I would recommend showering a lot more and using lemon scented bodywash also if you have fleas on your pets aswell then I hate to break it to you but cat fleas and human fleas will coexist together TRUST me I know from experience also human fleas are picky as hell so you probably may not see anyone else get bit.

I'd have to stay in the shower all the time. Soon as I get out they after me again. I've used the bombs upstairs and downstairs. The only thing that works for me is Repel deet 40.

I literally just figured out I had fleas on me so this could help like they are hopping around and I'm not the person to mess with if it,s a bug like bedbugs ticks or any other ones that like blood cuz I will pop them but this helped
