Thank you so very much for such an informative, educational and beneficial video. This may sound a little weird but I truly enjoyed watching your video. I do have a question, since watching your video I was wondering if our cats actions, (3 of them) not wanting to run or walk across the kitchen and bathroom floors and the carpeted areas. In order to get to the litter box in the main bathroom they have to walk across the kitchen and dining room floor then the carpeted living room area into the carpeted hallway then to the bathroom they'll use elevated furnishings as if they were part of an obstacle course. If they do happen to touch the floor they'll Sprint. It's gotten to the point where they don't even use the litter box anymore since they are outdoor cats, they'll do their business outdoors just to avoid the floors. Is this yet another sign of fleas in the home? Since their vision is way more powerful than humans would they be able to see those tiny bugs and try to avoid them? I have outfitted them with flea collars ,purchased flea removing products such as a spray carpets and upholstery, just a little side note after a while the spray for the upholstery and carpeting, leaves a very foul odor which you then have to purchase a steamer or have a company come and steam clean thoroughly.. Just to let you know, I will be heading over to your website to see what else you guys have to offer! Once again thank you so much for such a great video. PS. If there is anything else you'd be willing to add in the meantime, I'm all ears!!! Thank You.
If you have fleas in your home, borax works to get rid of them. I have wooden floors & i.just spread it threwout my house&.left it down for 5 days at a time. Then vacuumed it up. You will.probably have to do this mutiple times. Lots of vacuuming & i.also mopped with.pinesol. it was challenging.to get rid of these fleas.
Sounds like you put in a lot of effort! Borax and regular cleaning can definitely help, but fleas can be persistent. If they keep coming back, professional treatment might be a good next step to fully tackle the issue. 🦟
My dog has droppings on him and I cut them and took them off, and i killed one flea but can’t find any other but I’m gonna take him to the vet tomorrow
Hi If I put 2 flea collars in the vacuum, after I have to empty the container outside and throw away the flea collars. After I will bring the vacuum container inside in a pail with dawn and bleach and wash the container. After I put it in the bag inside. The next day I dry the container and filter, end part of the vacuum with the bladder and once dry I start the vacuum. Is this correct,,?.I use a bagless ovente vacuum.Thank you for your response.
Hi! It sounds like you have a thorough post-vacuuming routine to help eliminate fleas. The steps you mentioned, such as emptying the container outside, washing it with Dawn and bleach, and ensuring it's fully dry before using it again, are good practices. However, it's essential to refer to the specific instructions provided by the vacuum manufacturer to ensure the proper care and maintenance of your Ovente vacuum. If you have any concerns or questions, it's always a good idea to reach out to the manufacturer for clarification. Thank you for sharing your process!
I had a rat come into my room and then I killed it. I started getting bites on my legs but not sure what from. My brother said I might have fleas. I don’t have a pet to look for these warning signs. I’m not worried my pet has them, I’m worried I have them, how can I tell?
If you have red bumps on your arms and legs when you get up in the morning that's one indication you have fleas other signs if you buy some all white socks and you walk around your house and they jump on the socks and start crawling up is another also a better indication is making a homemade flea trap by mixing water with dish soap under a night light or some type of lamp or flashlight
This is so discouraging for me wanted to get a dog soon I see dog people so happy but this is discusting, my friend has a puppy I loved him but he was always itchy 😭😭😭
Don't let this discourage you from getting a dog! Fleas can be managed effectively with proper preventative measures and regular grooming. It's important to consult with a veterinarian for guidance on flea control products and methods to keep your future furry friend happy and itch-free. Fleas are a common issue, but with the right care, you can create a comfortable environment for your dog.
I don’t have a pet but a couple of neighbors do. I have tiny bugs in my window and am struggling to figure out what they are. They do jump sometimes so that’s why I’m thinking possibly fleas. 🤔
It could be fleas, especially if they jump. But other tiny bugs like springtails or even mites could also be the culprit. You might want to check with a pest control professional for a proper identification and solution, especially since neighbors' pets could be a source.
If you suspect that you got fleas while gardening, it's important to take precautions to prevent further infestation. Make sure to thoroughly wash your clothes and check for any signs of fleas or their bites. If the itching persists or worsens, it would be wise to consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.

My cat gave me fleas ;-;
Same. I itch everywhere. But I can’t handle but snuggle with my cat. But it keeps getting more itchy. How do I stop it?
Omg me too :,( I cry
The best thing is to take antihistamines for 7 days once a day before sleeping and they die when they bite you
same I’m literally crying rn 😭😭

Could possibly be bed bugs, until you find out DO NOT sleep in anyone else’s bed
If they’re jumping and not dying those are definitely fleas. Do you live in a woody area? Lots of wildlife?

It seems that not many people like bugs. I guess that is why we focus on killing them off for people ;)
