The RWD 2-Series is the sweet spot of BMW's lineup. Sized like the legendary E36 but with modern power and amenities. The FWD 2-Series is... unfortunate.
Better looking than the current M240i, IMO. BMW has lost its way when it comes to styling, i doubt they still make beautiful cars anymore...except the 8 series, and judging by their current trend, they might mess that one up soon as well.
I love the 235i and the 240i that immediately came after it, the newer ones look tasteless. I hope I'd get to buy a rwd one in the near future, because damn why would you not buy rwd, but I have my sights on getting a sportbike first so yeah. Decisions decisions.
