- We are back in the Victorian High Country with a 4wd camping trip with the one and only FireToFork! Watch The 80 series & Delica take on some of the toughest conditions in the high country. From Blue Rag Range Track, Dargo Pub to the Infamus Billy Goat Bluff Track (IN THE SNOW). We take Harry to some of the most iconic destinations in the high country.

if you spend 100k on a 4b, your doing it wrong.. do not, buy any ''4x4'', with ifs.. i have 4 u.s. 4x4rs.. 62 f100 v8, f250 highboy 351 5sp, 4 w disc, 1975. 1982 bronco, solid front diff, d44, d60 rear, lockers. 8 stud.. 02 s/duty 4.2tdi. 700nm. 240hp. 13 lt 100.. all of these did not cost anywhere near 100k.. u.s 4x4rs are built better, less mods needed, a std 78,swb,f100 4x4 has 2 ft travel, rear lsd, that works..unlike toyotas,, so, 250 $, on a lunchbox locker for the front, you can do your self,,job done..& 35,s..nothing less..im in a 4x4 club, registered,,guy in a 79 series,,cant do what my s/duty does.. it even impresses me.. big 4t chunk...cost 25k..170,000 ks..6 yrs ago..will not sell it..repairs, 1 alternator,220ks, belt, idler, adjuster. cost 1k..ish less.. raised it 3'', with bronco & f100 4x4 blocks, cost, nothing. only jap 4x4 id buy, would be a gu nissan,,cos there better than toyota.. 6cyl tdi of course..

Totally agree. I took my build up there 18 months ago unfortunately I wasn’t filming at that point but it’s great to see these guys doing it and showing you don’t need $100000 plus setup.

Well done boys, young blokes having a go with normal 4WDs, no big budget, and having a great time. The last time I was in the Vic High Country was over 30 years ago. You have brought back some memories of great times in the bush. Thanks. Your editing skills have just grown and grown since you started your channel.

I really do commend you young blokes. You could be out there tearing up tracks and damaging vehicles like certain other channels, but instead you are just out there doing it respectfully and on a budget rather than catalogue 4x4's. Keep up the great content.

I am getting more & more impressed with how capable those Daleakers really are. Although I have seen a few episodes of 4wding in the snow, & been once to the snow myself when I was 15, I have never been 4wding in the snow. I'll have to try it one day. Maybe you boys & Dan, might do a subscribers tag a long run one day next year?

advice,,do not,,buy any 4x4 with ifs.. better choice than toyota, is a gu wagon.. i drive yank 4x4rs..f100, f250, bronco.,with a diff in the front,, bined the ttb.. a nissan 6 cyl tdi, is 10 -15k cheaper than toyota. toyota use nissan parts..

Ive been seriously thinking of fitting out a Delica for my desert trips. I dont do the dunes, just the roads and tracks. You've convinced me its worth a crack.

The Hybrid Torsion LSD in Delica's are activated by using a bit of handbrake to apply resistance to both rear wheels causing it to lock up and work👍

Sensational collab. I too have a soft-spot for the Delica. Like you, I've had previous Pajeros (an NJ, then NL). Then took an 7yr break from 4WDs, returning back in 2018 with an 80 Series. Enjoyable episode. It had everything you'd expect from the VIC High Country. Brilliant stuff. 👍

Brilliant episode, guys. I love that there's none of the fluff and gossip you often see on these RUclips channels. Great to see the Deli on the tracks, looks almost identical to my old beast. Yes, I've done the Billy Goat Track, but absolutely not in those conditions, and my Deli had a rear locker! Well done and hope the underwear washes out clean!

Being from NSW and having done Billy Goats twice and watched so many videos of it before my first trip, this is hands done the BEST Billy Goats video i have seen. Such a contrast to have driven it when sunny and now to see it snowy, such an amazing contrast. Well done boys.

Highly recommend doing on the fringe season, we have had abit of snow floating around the last couple years now, just makes the tracks that much more magical!
Really enjoyed this video. We did Billy Goat back at Easter, we had snow at Lovitts Hut, but so glad we didn’t have it while doing the track. Very impressed with how the Delica did. Now to watch what Harry cooked. Keep up the great work.

Great trip guys. I was fortunate enough to do Billy Goats in snow very similar to what you guys encountered. Such an awesome experience, still the best 4x4 trip I've ever done. Great stuff.

haven't done Billy Goats Track in over 30 years. It was our Queens birthday weekend track you woud get everything snow, rain and sunshine. Back then i would class it as medium to difficult sure isnt that now. Great work fellas makes me want to get back up there👍
