Once I was finally able to lay down in a bed, he jumped in right with me.. stayed w/me all night & the next day

Exactly! Finally someone who spoke on this. That was very shocking to me they let it happen. Dogs lick everything & anything. That should’ve been on the list of something he may learn not to do.
The parents did everything right letting him see and smell and touch all the baby stuff. Dogs are natural protectors and these two will be great friends..congratulations to you both on your daughters birth..your dog and child are both beautiful..
Finally I get to see a truly responsible family! THANK YOU! All other families introduced their dogs without leash, without a mouth cover and etc. You guys have actually prioritized the baby. Nice!
I know I was bitten in the face by a golden retriever when I was 2 and that was a family pet who was used to children, I wasn't annoying him he just snapped. This won't happen here he's a gorgeous boy ❤
And yet they leave the dog slap the baby's face, when in reality you wouldn't even be allowed as an adult (not a parent) to touch anything that goes in the baby mouth
Except for the licking..🥶that’s the only thing I thought was kinda nasty and should’ve been controlled if possible. Dogs lick everything from their own body to the ground and then he licked her face multiple times.
I'm glad to see that you put a restraint around his mouth when you first introduced him to the baby. Very important people do this during getting the dog accustomed to the baby, just in case Edit: it is a restraint. It is around the mouth. You have google. It was blatantly obvious that it was for concern for the baby and rightfully so. I never said what kind of danger. I never said the dog would or would not intentionally hurt the infant. I never said anything about a specific breed at all. All I said is that you never know what can happen with a pet, and since an infant can't obviously defend themself, it's good to be cautious. And yes I have a Blue heeler and a toy Australian shepherd. You don't have to be knowledgeable about pet gear to know how dogs can act. Stop making weird assumptions out of nowhere please. You make dog owners look stupid.
Well I can tell you aren't a dog owner--that's not a muzzle or mouth restraint lol, its an anti-pulling leash. They had 0 concern of a bite or danger, it was to keep him from dashing and pulling as much. Dogs do NOT just suddenly attack out of nowhere with no warning, anyone who says they do is quite literally lying. There is always a reason--a good boy golden would never just suddenly savage a baby randomly. But the ignorant will believe what the ignorant will believe
This isn’t entirely accurate. Know the breed. Dogs are like humans in that regard. And as mentioned in the comment above dogs don’t aatck or bite without cause. In interactions like this dogs tend to be more curious and take facial ques from their owners. Seeing their owners caressing and cooing over something small and fragile ques them that a new addition to the pack was just added and they want their scent hence the sniffing and licking. If the parent is overprotective or gives negative facial ques that can confuse and upset the dog depending.
@@KrazzeeKaneI don't think they were implying that they thought the dog would suddenly attack the baby. While they might've not had the right term for the piece, we can still understand what they were trying to say 😅
Congrats and you have a great dog! Dogs will protect babies to the death. If they think someone shouldn't be near a baby, they'll get between them too.
I imagine thats why the dad pulled back immediately. If they're smart they had wipes either on hand or within 30 secondw reach. That said, how fucking cute though XD

We brought home a cap the our daughter wore in the hospital so our dog could get her scent. When we brought her home, our dog was fine with her. It was my daughter that stole his toys when she started to crawl.
My granddaughter just had their 1st baby! A few days after she was born, they got an eight week old golden retriever. I love that they'll grow up together ❤️
Definitely a "white" people thing. Other cultures keep animals outside and do not allow animals in the house, let alone jumping into bed and licking faces- DISGUSTING!!!🤣
This is the comment I was looking for. I'm sure someone will say how a dog's mouth is so much cleaner than humans, but at the end of the day, you're still allowing an animal to lick the face of a newborn.
Growing up, my golden retriever was my best friend. She lived a long 15 years but suffered at the end from Lyme Disease. She helped me through a lot as a child.❤
Families who underestimate the dangers of dogs unattended near babies are risking sheer tragedy. This case shows a well behaved loving dog as a new family member arrives. Do not leave dogs and infants unattended. Fair warning.

EVERY CHILD should be raised with a golden retriever. The world would be a much more loving place. 🥳😽🐾
Only if they're well trained and not imbred❤
Or at least a cat or dog of any breed that can be calm and behave around an infant. Really, everyone should have a pet/fur sibling to be raised with.
Or a dog in general!
My cousins had one.
We were jumping on the couch, I was the youngest, like 3…
My aunt decided at the last minute to move a huge coffee table w/glass in the middle & thank god she did.
Not seconds later, I got catapulted off that couch & smacked my head on the corner of the table.
Had she not moved it, I woulda gone thru the glass.
I had 2 black eyes & a massive knot on my forehead, they called the hospital & kept my up all nite making sure I didn’t have a concussion… that damn dog.. followed whoever held me ALL night… would NOT let me out of his sight, even licking me when I dozed off..
Once I was finally able to lay down in a bed, he jumped in right with me.. stayed w/me all night & the next day
Amen!! Absolutely!! ❤️💛
So precious. Well done on introducing him the right way. You have a lovely family. So glad it’s all working out! Happy New Year!
The whole thing is adorable
Dogs can hear your heartbeat so he knew you had a baby in you.
🥹❤ that’s so precious
@@EllePole mhmm it also why we train dogs to hear a up coming heartattack or seizure about to happen in order to prevent it from happening. Really man's best friend.
He'll be a great big brother ❤
That is so very precious! Ur baby got a friend for life.❤❤❤
Dogs are not stupid
They are family protectors
Give them a chance
It's really cute❤
but.. isn't letting a dog lick a newborns face and mouth dangerous?? Their immunity is low so are prone to infection/other diseases
Exactly! Finally someone who spoke on this. That was very shocking to me they let it happen. Dogs lick everything & anything. That should’ve been on the list of something he may learn not to do.
What's not to love, doggo bonding with little humans is such a great connection. Proud of doggo for stepping up❤❤❤
I love it dogs are awesome 🥰🤗👍🏿👍🏿❤️❤️😘
Adorable relationship with the baby and that dog is an angel!!💕
Too cute for words. He's precious! 💕
The parents did everything right letting him see and smell and touch all the baby stuff. Dogs are natural protectors and these two will be great friends..congratulations to you both on your daughters birth..your dog and child are both beautiful..
That is absolutely amazing! You two are Blessed with your baby and Kobe ❤.
He thought the baby gifts were for him 😂😂😂. What a gentle soul he is ❤❤❤🐾.
His eyes are so innocent and adorable 🥺❤️
He will protect her and be her best friend for the rest of her life.
For the rest of his* life. Dogs don't live long enough. 😢
For the rest of his* life. ❤❤
Responsible parents. O took the time and realised that he s till an animal. You daughter is blessed
Oh bless him, this is so sweet, he gives her kisses when she cries 🥲🥰
It looks it, but that's not a good thing....
Those are not kisses, that's a dog licking a baby's face. Not sweet or hygienic.
You must lead a miserable life, he’s not slobbering, it was a simple lick, not a big deal
@@greerjones9791how tf do you think we train our immune systems? Kids are supposed to encounter germs….

I LOVE THIS VIDEO !!!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING ❤
So adorable. Good boy ❤so lovely dog ❤❤❤❤love family ❤❤❤❤
Finally I get to see a truly responsible family! THANK YOU! All other families introduced their dogs without leash, without a mouth cover and etc. You guys have actually prioritized the baby. Nice!
!!!!
@@Abligurition are you starting the holiday celebrations early? 🍻
Except for the licking..🥶that’s the only thing I thought was kinda nasty and should’ve been controlled if possible. Dogs lick everything from their own body to the ground and then he licked her face multiple times.
The baby cries and he is on the alert 😊
Dogs bring us such pure joy. If you want to see love as an expression in physical form, a dog is one of the best examples…
I love how he’s laying on the couch like he’s waiting for his turn to hold your precious baby ❤
He looked more like an exhausted parent, hilarious
Omg- HE DOES!! 😂😂😂 Like, ok, hurry up, Fad- it's my turn now!!
I'm glad to see that you put a restraint around his mouth when you first introduced him to the baby. Very important people do this during getting the dog accustomed to the baby, just in case
Edit: it is a restraint.
All dogs no matter the breed have different personalities there is no one size fits all for behavior
That definitely was not a muzzle. Have you ever seen a muzzle?
@@KrazzeeKaneI don't think they were implying that they thought the dog would suddenly attack the baby. While they might've not had the right term for the piece, we can still understand what they were trying to say 😅
You're so sweet to get him bis very own baby!!! Best gift a pup could ask for❤
Congrats and you have a great dog! Dogs will protect babies to the death. If they think someone shouldn't be near a baby, they'll get between them too.
KOBE LOVES HIS MOM AND LITTLE BABY HES SO ADORABLE ❤
What an amazing, protective, big brother 💙
Golden Retrievers are The Best Family Dogs ❤
I love dogs, but I 100% would not let a dog lick a newborn’s face!
Please see my answer to @dcampbell4079 above
At all! The bacteria....the new immune system that is not ready for dog bacteria......please no. But koby is adorable and so sweet with her.
100% right
🤢 🤢🤢
I imagine thats why the dad pulled back immediately. If they're smart they had wipes either on hand or within 30 secondw reach.
That said, how fucking cute though XD
So lovely. Golden Retrievers are such wonderful dogs 🐕
She is Gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
He is ghe sweetest dog ever lol 😆 ❤😂
Omg he got the blanket 😢I almost cried how sweet are dogs besides him being a big brother now he’s smart and he’s gonna protect her. I hope I make enough money on day so I can adopt a dog. They really bring happiness to so many people ❤
We brought home a cap the our daughter wore in the hospital so our dog could get her scent. When we brought her home, our dog was fine with her. It was my daughter that stole his toys when she started to crawl.
My granddaughter just had their 1st baby! A few days after she was born, they got an eight week old golden retriever. I love that they'll grow up together ❤️
Awe 🥹 that was so sweet!!! ❤🥰
NO DOG IS LICKING MY NEWBORN IN THE FACE THOUGH! 💯
😂 exactly my thoughts
I agree, 100%. All I could think about was...."Pink eye". I can't co-sign on that!
Definitely a "white" people thing. Other cultures keep animals outside and do not allow animals in the house, let alone jumping into bed and licking faces- DISGUSTING!!!🤣
For real! That bothered me so much. That tongue has been on his butt and in the toilet!!!
@@shireads2954 don’t forget other dog asses all In The grass oh and don’t forget the doggy ball lick sessions during his private time 🤢

Awesome parents!! Doing good young couple!! Congrats!! 🎉
Why do people think it's fine for dogs to lick a babys face? Do they not remember how dogs clean themselves??
This is the comment I was looking for. I'm sure someone will say how a dog's mouth is so much cleaner than humans, but at the end of the day, you're still allowing an animal to lick the face of a newborn.
@@domichula86 So what? We all are animals, the baby is an animal, too.
Did you not see both and mom and the dad pull them apart right after the lick, probably didn’t expect the dog to lick the baby the second he met her
@@alexlavoie4174then watch the video to the end, the dog licked her again without anyone holding it back
Who cares if the dog licks the baby's face. The human body works better being exposed to germs than not. Are bodies are designed that way
Kisses from dogs can be deadly because of all the bacteria. Sweet but better to stop the licking.
A little doesn’t hurt.

Please dont allow the dog to lick the baby in her mouth!!!

Studies show this enhances a baby's immune response.
Families who underestimate the dangers of dogs unattended near babies are risking sheer tragedy. This case shows a well behaved loving dog as a new family member arrives. Do not leave dogs and infants unattended. Fair warning.
ANY dog btw, who knows what triggers them to maul…
the way he comforts her when she fusses🥹😭😭😭😭
Don’t kiss the dog though.. my brother in law got a nasty gum infection from kissing his dog! ❤
@marieclaudeb2366, Vaya excusa! ¿Qué se metería tu cuñado en la boca?
I doubt that gum infections happen without warning,I got one and it was from a bad tooth.
it sounds more likely from poor oral hygiene practices
