The fact that they were so comfortable in each others' personal space told me they were most likely in love at one point. The video is bittersweet. It shows how the end of something can make you grow as a person. A breakup does not need to be ugly. I love that they still respect and care for one another.

It's not always the case. When someone loves you so much but you don't feel the same feeling, you cannot force yourself to love him/her back the way he/she does. You can try but you'll get tired. In the end, it's always better to be alone but genuinely happy than staying in a relationship for the sake of saving the "relationship" but you know deep in your heart you're not really happy.
Its a misconception that you can't find another person who would love you like someone already does. Because people with similar personalities (16 in total) are similar and would end up with the personality they like if they chose their heart. Its not that hard to love someone you genuinely like. As an Indian I can relate that there's still ethnicity and cultural bias with the Indian Guy (I can be wrong). In USA they date for years and say they are not compatible ..The main reason for break up is that you know about the other person for a long time that you feel so bored to continue after a specific time..after all there are so many boys and girls around to pick and choose

As an Indian I can relate that there's still ethnicity and cultural bias with the Indian Guy (I can be wrong). I believe his upbringing is from a south Indian family and I may be wrong, but I have friends (South Indian) who are actually pressurized by either family customs, ethnicity or they have this set of rules or principles that they abide by (In this case, the guy see "Love" as Respect). So I knew from the start that the women is trying real hard, but it seems she was "friend zoned" from the first place by the guy.

I know a lot of cases where North Indians kill their children in the name of honour for marrying outside their community. I don't understand why you are blaming that on South Indians.

@@jaybirdfly149 nobody is blaming south indians but this kind of mentality and crimes as you mentioned are common everywhere in India. Yes you can argue about frequency but it is common. and in North specially in villages these things are prevailed but whenever development and urbanization will occur everything will be phase out.
