@sanjureddy pallae well yes....japanese for sure will take number 1... But am not sure about Koreans....as I know korean, have conversed with them while residing in Busan....next usa has a quite a handful of korean population...their mannerism is different (fake) from those Koreans living in Korea.

That is a great custom but is not followed in South India, for whatever reason. We touch their feet only on special occasions such as getting married or having a birthday celebration, etc. At other times it is just greeting them, sometimes with palms joined together.

I am impressed by the in-laws. They handled their daughters love life calmly and peacefully. Any parent from anywhere in the world will have their doubts when it comes to their child's would be partners even if they are from the same community.
Love has no barriers. I have an aunty who married an Indian n they had the best marriage ever unfortunately he passed away n she still lives in India with his relatives n never returned back to her parent country.

I really like her parents' positive reaction about their daughter meeting with an Indian guy. They are not prejudice like some other Chinese parents would have toward to Indians. I really wish that relationship between India and China can be as positive as the relationship between this Indian and Chinese couple. India and China really should work together rather than work against each other. A good relationship between the most populated country and second most populated country can only have positive impact to the development and modernization of both countries and entire Asia. Asian countries should be united and cooperated like Western countries have been. It is time to stop the West led by the US to take advantage of conflict between Asian countries.

Hey Avi & Sandy, your video is very eye-opening. I am myself a Chinese girl that is dating a Indian guy for almost 3 years. And yet I'm not confortable talking directly to my parents about it. I know that when I will present my bf as my future husband it's gonna be tricky but at least I might have better understanding on how they will react :)

Few years ago, i was in melborne i touched feets of my uncle and my australian friends like they have seen alien out of me from then i was like feeling shy touching feets in public but then i got to know its not just tradition. It also has deep value attach to it. You only bow down to your parents and god "touching feets means you will be loyal and respectable to your elders no matter how they are" .
it's the utmost way to give respect to elders. Never be shy of it.
