coconut oil is great natural detangler!! use it on your ends and use a paddle brush and start at the ends and then to the top which will distribute the oil to the rest of the hair, or simply do a honey and coconut oil hair mask for like 15-20 mins and it'll be easy to brush I PROMISE!!! HERE'S A VIDEO TUTORIAL www.luxyhair.com/blogs/hair-blog/diy-damaged-hair-repairing-coconut-mask
I have fine hair but a lot of it, so it get's knotted super easily, but there are special (round) brushes to prevent that :) I use a big round brush from Olivia Garden and my hair never gets stuck so I would really recommend those kinda brushes !!!
Very helpful and detailed tutorial. Thanks a lot, and for those who say she speaks too much... if you want to learn the technique then it’s fundamental to understand how to do it right
My hair also looks like that but it tangles very easily But yeah my hair air dries in like 15 minutes so I just leave it like that Blow drying(without the brush) takes about 5-10 minutes
The same thing used to happen to me so sometimes it helps to use a smaller brush cause it tends to curl the hair better on coarse hair and I would avoid using those wooden blowout brushes with the dots n the ends cause those are really easy to get your hair stuck in the ceramic ones with nylon bristles are best cause when the brush heats up while you bow dry your hair will eventually change me out by itself
I've just blown out my hair using this tutorial and this is amazing!! Ive had little to no experience with hair dryers, but this was so easy! This was the only tutorial that went in depth on how to start the brush in the hair and the movement of the brush as you go. Thank you!!
This is the single most helpful blowdry tutorial I've found--it's exactly what I was looking for. Your hair looks fantastic and you made me feel like I can actually accomplish this at home (that's saying a lot for someone who owns other styling tools but not a hairdryer!) Thank you so, so much :)
I’m taking the Cosmetology class this year & am trying to learn even to blow dry my own hair, but this. GIRL YOU SAVED MY HAIR. Lol. Very simple and clear example. THANK YOU!
Use smaller sections cause that will help and also dont start wrapping that hair super high or close to your roots and dont change the angle of the brush
Practice, practice, practice. Start with a brush that's large and has sparse bristles. Don't wrap the hair all the way around the brush, but only use 1/4 to 1/2 of the brush. Use just a slight twist of the wrist. Also, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep the dryer moving with a slight "back and forth" movement along the brush. If you hold it so it's focused on one spot, you will burn and damage your hair or your scalp. I've been blow drying my hair with round brushes since 1975.
Gorgeous!! I stopped using my flat iron more than a year ago and do this technique. I get so many compliments and my hair is incredibly soft with big curls at the end. Day 3 (my hair is dry and thick!) I put in a pony tail and it looks gorgeous the way the curl at the ends hang. It takes me about 45min to an hour from start to finish. Add some dry shampoo to your roots day 2-3 if your hair is like mine and your good for the work week!

Thank you so much for this! This was the first blow dry tutorial I've actually been able to follow! Quick question, how do you keep the blow out over night?
How do you make sure your highlights don’t look orange? I have really dark brown hair and got a balayage, but I feel like it turned out orange. The blue shampoo isn’t doing but so much.
Did you go to a salon or try it at home? I had virgin dark brown hair and I wanted highlights like hers, so I went to a salon and it looks orange 🤪 but I got a refund and had a different stylist touch it up and make it better
Sometimes with really dark hair it might take a couple sessions to lift most of the orange/brassy color out. Blue and purple shampoos/conditioners also come in different levels of pigment so you might just need something a little more color-depositing to keep it ashier. As a natural brunette, you will want to use blue instead of purple so you're definitely on the right track there! You just need to alternate it with your regular (sulfate-free) shampoo to maintain it. Sometimes it just takes a little patience to get those sessions in before you reach the exact tone you want. I'd also recommend getting a toner/gloss in addition to the balayage foils. Talk to your stylist about that and let them know how you feel! Communication is super important, both during the consultation and afterwards to find the right products for you. Let them know what you're using now and how it is or isn't working. I promise they'll have some ideas on how to help!
I Am Happy And I Deserve It you need to face the dryer down the way in the direction your hair grows I make that mistake aswell until I seen a tutorial if it’s still frizzy use a serum x

Wow you did such an AMAZING job on your HAIR. It looks badass. Now im going to try to do it myself hopefully it turns out for me and it looks just like yours. Thank you for the video. ❤

Yesssss! Once you got it you got itttt! So. Glad babe ❤️
You're so pretty! I'm trying to learn how to do my hair differently and this helped me out so much.. thanks girly! 😊
Omg your like the only one on RUclips who explained how to do it properly….
Me encanta!!! súper bien explicado y hasta hoy 2023 sigue siendo tendencia, súper elegante y bonito
Thank you so much for this!! I just took out most of my dreadlocks and literally have never done anything besides scrunch or straighten to my hair! This was SO helpful!!
Yay! I am glad ♥️
I did it! It works! I wish I could show pictures! It was really hard because I have long black hair all the way to my butt.
Is your hair like one length or do you have layers? I don't have any layers and I was wondering whether this technique will work on my hair. My hair is till my waist.
@@arjasadhukhan1692 it will still work its just not gonna have aa much h valume
Long hair weighs it down if one length.....results not the same
How long did the look stayed?
Wow what is your lipstick?? I love it!!!
Wow you did such an AMAZING job on your HAIR. It looks badass. Now im going to try to do it myself hopefully it turns out for me and it looks just like yours. Thank you for the video. ❤
Omg. I literally just got depressed because I realized I will never be as flawlessly beautiful as you!!! Your hair came out impeccable! Especially right after you finish the main top piece and it has all that volume. Omg goals af af af
SO SWEET LOVE YOU!!!!!!
what color is your hair I would love to dye mine like that I love the color looks so natural and nice❣
Vanessa Trevino I would say I have a level 7 beige color (:
Omg Sis your hair is so perfect 😻👌🔥
Archie K thxxxx girl ❤️
Can you please tell your balayage name? I want something like this but not sure how will explain to my hairdresser!
Doun Star you should be able to show you hairdresser a video or picture! Hair is very visual so it’s best you agree on an image so you are both in the same page. I would say I am a level 7 balayage though!
This showed up in my recommendations years later, and I remembered this video is how I learned to blow-dry my hair and I've been doing it this way every week ever since ! Thank you for that
Ok, I am 32 and I have never been able to blow dry my hair. I watched this video today and I just did what you said and omg! Like I look like I’ve come from the hairdresser! It’s amazing! Thank you 🙏🏻
Yay!!! So happy! Get better and better with practice. Get it girl (;
I tried this today as well, and I followed all the steps, also used a blowout creme.. but definitely not as much volume... what did I do wrong?! Any tips?
Here from tiktok😭🤚🏼🏃♀️
How do you keep your blow dry overnight?!! I did my blowout last night and it looked really nice but the curl is nowhere to be found this morning! Pls help
Thank you for giving an in depth blowout curl. I’m definitely gonna try to do this now ❤️❤️❤️
I use to round brush dry my hair years ago and I loved it. However, I've either had short hair or was bald for the better part of 10 years. Now that my hair is growing out again, this has helped me a lot.
Used this today. I still need a lot of practice but *cheff kiss*. Bless you for this tutorial.
Can you please make a video on how to hold the brush it would really help❤❤
She explained it at 4:36 (:
I can’t wait to try this thank you so much! And you and your hair are absolutely beautiful 😁💗
Love! ❤ Which shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, hair oil, deep conditioner, towel, etc. do you use?
will it stays for how many hours? im scared to use that kind of brush too hehe, cause it seems that my hair will stuck
How can I describe this cut to my hairstylist?!?! I’m going next month and this is the exact cut I need for my length !! Beautiful style, cut and color !
Lan Nguyen Thi Ngoc it was so helpful. I showed her video to my hair stylist and she gave me the cut. Dark brown with caramel balayage. She called in layers that frame the face with long layers so my hair will have movement when I blow dry it. Such great inspiration!
