The issue is large people should not be on these rides but force the operator to let them on . Im surprised the operator didnt get a signal on his controller that the lap bar was not fully activated
Just stay in the Train and ride it out. The G Forces going through the 2 Loops would have kept him pinned in the seat anyway. The Coaster doesn't have Strong Negative G's that could eject riders out of The Train.
factually the ride attendant did check the lap bar however it just unlocked for whatever reason. which in turn should have triggered an automatic stop of the train. having ridden countless rollercoasters over the years A LOT. while this ride may seem intense , its really not. i do believe he could have stayed in the coaster as this doesn't have enough force to throw you out yeah you go upside down but you don't hang upside down its quick and your basically glued to the seat. the drop is very mild compared to most. hanging on tight i do believe would have sufficed. Jumping out of a moving coaster especially at the top like that seconds before it drops i do believe was more dangerous. Manufactured by Hopkins. A mild roller coaster. Manufactured by Hopkins.

now how did you come to that conclusion when this story is about a malfunction and the ride operator not checking the safety bars
Do we know if that was the case in this situation?

That theme park is very old and rundown. It's not even maintained in a proper way either.
Final Destination 3 up in AZ
Why didn't he just pull the bar back down?
1:55 i went to knotts and they closed down
That’s crazy , don’t get on the ride

Roller coasters have no way of knowing that the lap bar is unlocked once the train leaves the station. Watch "Ryan the Ride Mechanic."
Ricky Stanicky…
Whatever happened to ride at your own risk?
Did they take that car/s out of service??
That guy was lucky he didn't fall to his deaf💀
Deaf? 😂
The way they are deisgned the centrifugal force would have kept him safe anyway.
The employee didn’t check? How about you using your own common sense before it starts moving!! I’d call the employee over!
