You mind your karma. One is not responsible for toxic ancestors karma. Very essential to come out of such family. They will try to keep you chained in every way.

@Astrologyhub I am beyond grateful for this series, I have had MAJOR epiphanies that have changed my reality. Thank you so much to Cayelin for her interpretation on the 4th house bc I have Jupiter, Saturn AND Pluto in my 4th in Libra and I'm also a Cancer moon and ASC. With Saturn AND Pluto in my 4th my upbrining was beyond traumatic. Ironically, I refer to my childhoid home as the house of horrors. My whole adult life I've tried so hard to reconciliate that regardless of the unbearable trauma, I'm a part of a lineage of muscians, psychics and healers. My love for music and being exposed to every musical instrument is a gift and also my clairvoyant and healing abilities were gifts provided to me as tools to be able to bear what needed to be cleansed and purified in my family. I have no planets in my 3rd, 4th, 5th houses and so I’ve not given them much attention. This episode inspired me to check the sign of my 4th house = Leo. One of my biggest issues is never, ever wanting to be in the spotlight and yet everything I wonna do will invariably make me shine if I allow it. Hhhmmmm…🤔

4th house typically cancer and moon ruled . Farming. Farmers plant according to the seasons and thus the moon cycle . Different plants do better at different phases of the moon for example planting on the new moon for sprouting at the full moon , blooming often happens at full moon too. I think that’s why farming is there

Wow yeah I tried to launch a business last year and with saturn in my 4th it's been very slow going Ended up focusing on healing work for the year. Divine timing sometimes we can't force things.

I find it interesting about Cayelin's father. In many teachings, Father is 10th house, and if her 4th house is in Aquarius, then 10th would be in Leo, and that would be correlated with a father who would want to shine on his own.
I have both Saturn and Pluto in my 4️⃣th house. This house is my Leo house. I have a Taurus ascendant with my sun in Capricorn at 24 degrees. This presentation really speaks to me-rules, emotional abuse, and the last few years, yikes! My Taurus ascendant is conjunct my paternal grandfather’s sun and my elder granddaughter’s moon. My elder granddaughter wants to protect my Libra daughter (from everyone). My Leo Dad was structure bound, my Mom (Libra moon) was emotionally abusive. There is a lot to think about here.
I’m understanding why my first family experience was so chaotic. Saturn , Pluto, Mars, all in Retrograde in my 4th house. I’m wanting to discover a way of healing from my Grandmother’s and Mother’s physical and emotional abuse. II have made some progress in my own life,but have made poor choices with men. My childhood experience was Saturn influenced, I was determined to be different with my children, but I bypassed my own healing. That has caught up with me in recent years, now a work in progress...

I have Sagittarius on the 4th and Gemini in the 10th and I travel from home to home and I love traveling abroad. I’m currently living in a month to month tiny house. I will soon get a home base, but there’s no way I will just stay put. 😅

I have Pluto in Virgo on my 4th house cusp but don’t grow my own veges & am extra easy on my kids (no chores) cos I was raised in a strict environment & never wanted them to live the hard life I had to.

I did look under decorating for Libra - and lots of it resonated. The Ayurvedic form of Feng Shui Called Vastu has many articles on it for echo sun sign.
I found one home in particular that really spoke to my Libran fourth house!
I have also have Aquarius on the 4th with Chiron, too. Nice to hear your interp of Chiron there. 😊My family was very “normal,” but my parents home was open and welcoming to a diverse range of people.
Also, my maternal grandfather took his life when I was a month old, so if talking of wounding/healing that played a large role in my life and of course my family. I was also eager to go off and live my life even though I had a very stable upbringing.

I have moon and Pluto fused w IC in libra. I’m leo rising.
Chiron in the 4th sounds very karmic and focused on healing karmic wounds, If one pictures the natal wheel in 3D, the IC can really represent a balancing point - if secure then the spinning entity you are can balance, and balancing the natal and transiting planets keeps the hologram ball intact. 🥰

The 4th rules roots and our roots always related to our mothers. Also motherland and homeland also are ruled by 4th. The reason ancients chose this was due to the part where we always knew who the mother was and motherland and homeland all are related to our roots that are indisputable ( as in who is our mother. Back in old ages, the father was never a matter of certainty).

Wow Cayelin! I have Saturn square my sun along with my moon both in Sagittarius. My issues were never with my dad but with my mom. She was more the authoritarian and struggled with my birth as i was an ooops baby. I always felt I was on the outside looking in. My dad on the other hand was everything to me as a child. Things shifted as I got older but he died when I was still young in my 30s. ❤
I am so sorry for your loss of your father. My mom and I most definitely had a complicated relationship most of our lives but I have to say 😢although I too was an oops baby (born a couple weeks before my father’s 53rd birthday) he was very happy with a second chance at fatherhood and he was so very unconditional love and my mom tried. I know I was not easy. Luckily I got to have my dad shortly until just after I turned 40 and mom was a few years later last September. I’m just now learning how to apply 4th house security measures to my own home, the meat one I cart my soul around because I’ve always been a little nomadic Z my fourth house proper is ‘empty but my cancer moon is only a degree into the 5th unfortunately conjunct crabby mars but I am working on that finally at almost fifty years old. I’m sitting in my bed with the plethora of stuffed cats and living ones that I was unable to have when I was a child so I’m parenting my own self now. My extended family is completely estranged by their choice and I am learning just how to parent me. How to be courageous enough to be vulnerable but not emotionally physically physically so much so that I don’t maintain my boundaries. We’re working on that here, me and my paws 🐾. Just we’d someone with Venus and mars in Aquarius in the fourth house.

Very interesting. Both my mother and her mother have Mars close to Saturn , one has it in Aries and the other in Scorpio. They are tough women who lack warmth and have difficulty expressing emotions. I have Venus in Scorpio in my H4 and was determined to allow, encourage and teach my son how to be open and honest with his feelings, so I think this is an example of a kind of ancestral healing. Curiously I also have Mars and Saturn close, but mine are in close conjunction in Libra, so I guess I inherited some of that but in a Venus ruled sign instead of the Mars ruled.
And my Venus in H4 is my H10 ruler and I have been working from home for over 20 years and love it.
Stunning observations! I have also tried finding patterns across charts of family members, but the connections aren't that obvious like yours!
I met a man, though, whose chart bears quite interesting similiarities to my father's.

Hi, I have Mars and Saturn in Aries, although they're not close at all. What has been your experience with someone with that placement?
I'm asking because one of my life's biggest struggles has been learning to be more open with how I feel, more emotive and cute but like... everything is about preserving/dispensing energy to me, it's rational, it's maths, and at the end of the day a lot of those more superficial displays of affection (very familiar in Libras from my experience) with lots of giggles and compliments kind of take me aback and I don't know how to act around that energy... I used to despise it until I saw how it really attracted people to them... how easily they seem to experience social life. To me it's a daily struggle and I thrive alone I think. However I recognize that obviously that's the better alternative since it's more healing and social than the other one, which is keeping to myself unless I have something important to say.
But I'm a taurus with a cancer moon so I'm a big softie, I know the value of being soft, but it's SO HARD to express it!
@@kawaiixtc Well, in your case the Mars is definitely stronger being in its own sign whereas my Mars is weak by sign. And conversely my Saturn in Libra is exalted so the stronger of the two, but your Saturn in Aries is probably weaker than Mars . In what house is it placed?
It does seem that Mars/Saturn conjunction does make one independent and somewhat stoic. I still have difficulty being warm with friends but it was easy with my son.
Oh my gosh 2022 had very many 4th house home and family themes in my 12th year of perfection. It is very true l have had much family trauma with Pluto in my nadir 4th house of Scorpio very strong in sign of rulership. Living with people for most of my life looking back at my life now fully independent, home was never a safe, stable place for me EVER. being forced to live outside of family and romantic partners was the very thing l needed in order to heal. My North node is in 9th house Aries. I am a pisces sun in many ways forced to become more Aries and warrior like the older l get. I have many issues around communication in my relationships with people. My tenth house is in Taurus and my cancer moon is at home in it's sign in the eleventh.
I am currently planning on writing a book, a memoir about my traumatic upbringing, self love and the healing of my PTSD from narcissistic abuse

I have Aquarius 4th house, Ic, moon (trine Uranus) nn, mercury, "rules be gone" I love it!!! Rules limit my expression.
I have pluto conjunct Jupiter in 4th house in Leo. Lots of trauma domestic violence, felt unsafe and not able to be myself as child and adult. Have moved dozens of times and moving again in 2 weeks to my first home as a sole homeowner. Beyond excited! Going to create safe space. Pluto tore down what wasn't for my highest good and Jupiter expanded on whatever was happening. It's been a wild home life!

Quick note on the 4th House Real Estate question. Natal Mars is in my 4th house and I noticed that in law school, Property Law was complicated for many of my peers, yet I took to it like duck to water. In law practice, I dealt with every issue imaginable involving property law. Besides the usual commercial and residential transactions, I handled in restrictive covenants, easements, planning/zoning, landlord-tenant, foreclosures, variances, licenses (for diverse purposes), property tax disputes and appeals, helping obtain and/or maintain their real estate licenses (i.e., pleading with Board of Realtors), real estate tax challenge (i.e., pleading with Tax Appeals Board)...also hotels and mobile home parks. So, this resonates very strongly from my experience. Also, every home I've purchased I represented myself from negotiation, contracts, title issues, et cetera. Very cool!
Mars in the 4th house indicates real estate as a profession according to James Braha and pretty much every Hindu astrologer.

I have Capricorn 28° on my 4th house cusp, and natal Saturn in the 4th in Aquarius conjunct South node.
In the last few years have Saturn return, than Saturn through the 4th house, and Pluto sitting on my IC, just about to go into my 4th house. Needless to say, lots of challenges, and still trying to figure out how to navigate through....
It was especially reassuring and uplifting to hear about you talk about your individual experiences, and how you've gotten through similar transits,, and that ultimately there is light at the end of the tunnel! 🙏🤞🏻
I have Venus and Chiron in the Aquarius fourth house in my natal chart and a few months ago it was Chiron crossing that natal point Now Venus is there touching her natal point. I am not a conventional mom either and my parents had a lot of wounds and I am healing that stuff a bit at a time so it can stop being a wound I pass on to my kids.
My conflict was with my Mom just as if I was her wound, but that is not true, she was wounded by her father and mother both and She became Malignant, I am a truth teller-empathic Little Capricorn and Dad enabled her by being silent when they were not fighting over just any old crap. My two older sisters became Malignant and my Brother is a flying monkey enabler type.... I totally understand my Chiron there in the 4th.... My mother also told me she wished she could have aborted me when she was pissed off at me at about 17 , hmm pretty close to your story.... that is amazing
Good points made clearly. As a Capricorn it has been mental gymnastics and sometimes outfight hellish stuff for about now going onto 7 years, LOL. I smell a Saturn connection here with it bouncing around on me not long after my Second return natal placements getting triggered. This makes it feel right now as If I am having a Saturn Square and My daughter also had her 1st Saturn return this last year. It has been wild for a while now, never dull but WILD.
As a Capricorn too it has been very crowded in that sign and all the slower moving planets are transiting My 4th House right now, so reinvention is par for the course in all depts. concerning safety and inner self, and dealing with getting rid of all the toxic people.

My sun has Neptune conj Uranus in 4th house I'm a Virgo rising like my son I'm a Scorpio in 2nd house conj mercury ret Saturn newmoon libra conj sun my son is a cancer his sun in cancer in 10th house cusp 9 mercury cancer I'm very spiritual we had alot of things happen in our house like a fire and a flood when he was 2 and 8 years old upheaval with my Jupiter conj Uranus in 10th cancer in recovery from alcohol his grandmother was an alcoholic

Re the fourth house and farming, one of the connections I think will be that agricultural practices were dependent on the moon in times gone by. They planted according to moon phases, dependent on fruits above and below ground, plus harvesting etc etc.
Also the Saturn Moon connection which I can't remember at the moment, but Saturn being the God of Agriculture.

Super cool! So I e been going thru an inverse nodal return. Natal south node in 4th house, while Saturn has been transiting my 1st. I finally got answers about some very significant health problems I've had throughout my life. It's a genetic mutation that I got from both of my parents.. interestingly this disorder causes anxiety and depression in which I suffered a lot of trauma as a child because my parents suffered from these as well

Thank you for talking about Saturn & Pluto effecting the 4th H. I am experiencing some of that energy with those planets transiting into my 4th H. Saturn is there now & Pluto will follow. I’m feeling the same way- why did I choose this for myself?!! When Pluto comes in I expect that it will be that burnt to the ground experience of what I refer to as “home.” 😢
I have Taurus on the cusp of the 4th with Jupiter in the 4th opposite Neptune in Scorpio in the 10th/MC. Taurus is one of the signs prominent in several family members' charts, including two dogs.
Oh, and Uranus in my 4th House, had me relocating to Vermont (which didn't work out) so I ended up in Pennsylvania, but no place feels like home. I relocated to Vermont to do a Uranus thing, animal communication and Reiki.

This is so good! I have Saturn conjunct my sun in Leo in my 4th house. My family was super restrictive and fundamentalist and it was really hard for me to shine and know who I was. Now that I have my own family, in want to create a safe space for my kids to shine and be themselves. And when I feel safe I’m much more expressive about who I am and what lights me up.

I love this series so much! I'm following along with my natal chart. But I need a small piece of clarification based on translating the perspectives of all the episodes so far. My rising is Gemini (so Gemini is my 1st house) but I'm using Placidus so my 4th house cusp shows Leo for me. Do I count the planets and say my 4 house cusp is actually Virgo (like whole sign) or stick with Leo? Should we always use Whole House when determining our actual 4th house planet?

My blood is made up of 35% Indigenous ancestry (Mexican/Panamian/Colombian/Peruvian) so I find it particularly relevant for me that my Leo-cusped 4th house contains Makemake (the 'Father'), Vesta, Lilith (all three in Leo), and Haumea (the 'Mother' in Virgo) conjunct my South Node (Virgo/4th)...and I've really been 'feeling' it lately, as the Sun, Venus, and Lilith are transiting my Leo/4th house (conjunct my Lilith)!!! FYI...my Sun (the ruler of Leo), conjunct my natal Saturn, and Mercury (ruler of Virgo), along with Venus are ALL together in a stellium in Taurus/12th house. 💗💗💗

There are no empty houses. The ruler of the sign informs about the house in question. No planets, then check the ruler position and aspects.

Thank you ladies so much for this! This broke a glass ceiling within in terms of 4th house energy. So often we hear about its relation to our Mother, Home and Family of Origin and if you grew up in less than ideal family circumstances it almost puts this heavy rain cloud around the 4th house. OK how synchronistic is this? This morning as I was lying in bed, waking up, I started writing about generational issues. I believe that abandonment is a generational issue in my family and that I am the first in a long line to finally emotionally and spiritually deal with it.
