The description of Eris in the 11th sounds like my natal Pluto in the 11th. I have no children and work in home health therapy and hospice volunteer services. So often I wonder, "Who will help care for me as I age?" Yet, here I sit, on a small farm outside of Roswell NM, having traveled during this Virgo full moon (Virgo moon also in my 11th!) from Cleveland. I'm only here for 5 days- was just looking to get out of the city, see the open skies and help an older lady who was recovering from a broken hip, care for her animals and property. While taking in the splendor of the firey sunrises, luminate full moon, and bright stars, I realized this meeting and trip was not a coincidence, as things never are. We are all connected. And, even though I always SAY that (and mean it), it really hit home. We all belong in this mulitverse. It is for us, all of us. People come from all over the world to help her care for her property, meeting up through couch surfing and other homestay platforms. And while I know these services aren't a new concept, maybe this will be the way forward for me and so many others, not only to see the world, but to use our services and skills to help others. This has definitely been a time that has grounded me, gotten me out of my head, and allowed me to feel a sense of freedom from my worry and concern of growing old alone as I near 50.
I love this. I too have worked in aged care and end of life. I was literally sitting here this morning thinking about this dream I have of travelling in a little bus. I would travel and stay with people who needed help

I had never heard of Eris until this video- and I had to do some sleuthing to figure out how to find it in my natal chart. Finally did- and discovered what I thought was an empty 11th house (ruled by Aries with whole sign… Pisces placidus) actually had Eris smack dab in the middle- and in opposition to my exact conjunct Jupiter/Saturn down in the 5th.

Quite an interesting 11th house. Cusp is 26 Taurus with Uranus 7 Gemini aspecting the Nodes 9 Leo, Neptune 3 Libra, Venus 8 Libra, Ceres 7 Cancer. Eris is 4 Aries conjunct 5 Aries Midheaven. Hi, I have my moon and Jupiter conjunct in the 11th house in Leo. As I was listening to the video, I was cleaning up around the house. There were moments that I had to stop and sit down and cry. There were several points in this video that are very relatable. In addition, It has been hard having Saturn transiting through my fifth house these past 2 1/2 years where I have my Venus and Mercury and my Lot of Spirit in Aquarius. I’ve lost a lot of friends, but more so I put them at arms length because I realized we didn’t share the same values. I’ve always felt like the old girl out when it came to dealing with people around me. The only time I really feel comfortable and shine is in the classroom teaching. I am a professor of visual art, and helping my students realize they are own creative potential is very satisfying. Thanks for hearing me out. ❤

I have Pluto and North Node in the 11th house. Uranus and Leo is in my 11th house as well. I have gone through a lot of changes with friends and groups I've been a part of. I find it hard to find a group of people I can shine with since Leo's ruler is the sun. Pluto has made my life feel like I die and rise again in different areas I am interested in.

Having my Sun in the 11th BUT my South Node right next to it, so I have to let service go and it very hard because this would come naturally to me, but I have many sensitizing placements which make me extremely sensitive to others’ suffering, so I would be completely ruined working in an animal shelter or elderly home for instance. Funny, I have Pluto and Uranus in the 11th and I'm a social justice warrior to the extent that I've been a major activist for over 20yrs. So it really does come down to where the house lord is, not just planet placements in the 11th. Plus our circumstances and how our life plays out through those energies will determine those "wishes and hopes" for the future. Astrology isn't exempt from politics. The 11th House is Aquarian by nature, which is all about society and humanitarian issues. Eris represents feminism most of all the stars. Do a deep enough dive in the 11th house, and it's bound to be political in some way.

WOW! I love your explanation of the 11th house. I don't have planets in 11th but I have Chiron Retrograde in 11th and it's the Apex of a Yod with 3 planets sextile: Jupiter, Mercury, and Neptune. Just checked I have Eris in 11th house too! No wonder i'm always pulled here. Will definitely be getting that book to learn more! I've been through fated events all leading to some sort of healing and not just physical but 11th house things like belief in my dreams and wishes and I've been attracting people who need to heal that for themselves too. So fulfilling.

Quite an interesting 11th house. Cusp is 26 Taurus with Uranus 7 Gemini aspecting the Nodes 9 Leo, Neptune 3 Libra, Venus 8 Libra, Ceres 7 Cancer. Eris is 4 Aries conjunct 5 Aries Midheaven.
After watching today, I am thinking there is a good bit of past life things to work through. Uranus, Pluto, Ceres, the Nodes are all retrograde.

Hi, I have my moon and Jupiter conjunct in the 11th house in Leo. As I was listening to the video, I was cleaning up around the house. There were moments that I had to stop and sit down and cry. There were several points in this video that are very relatable. In addition, It has been hard having Saturn transiting through my fifth house these past 2 1/2 years where I have my Venus and Mercury and my Lot of Spirit in Aquarius. I’ve lost a lot of friends, but more so I put them at arms length because I realized we didn’t share the same values. I’ve always felt like the old girl out when it came to dealing with people around me. The only time I really feel comfortable and shine is in the classroom teaching. I am a professor of visual art, and helping my students realize they are own creative potential is very satisfying. Thanks for hearing me out. ❤

Can anyone tell me what Eris conjunct Moon conjunct Mars conjunct Juno opposition Pluto could signify 😮 (yes they are all in the 11th with my Venus 1’ conjunct Mercury & Moon and all in Aries… except Pluto obviously).
I have Eris conjunct Chiron (both in Aries), in my Neptune ruled 11th house of Pisces, currently being transited by Neptune and in a trine with my natal Neptune who is on the DESC in Sagittarius. Hehe...just thought I'd add that I have Mars in my 1st house rising on my Gemini ASC (along with Venus rising in Taurus/12th) and I always refer to Mars as my BIG brother - that is how his energy/presence on the chart 'feels' to me...💗💗💗

I have Pluto and North Node in the 11th house. Uranus and Leo is in my 11th house as well. I have gone through a lot of changes with friends and groups I've been a part of. I find it hard to find a group of people I can shine with since Leo's ruler is the sun. Pluto has made my life feel like I die and rise again in different areas I am interested in.

Having my Sun in the 11th BUT my South Node right next to it, so I have to let service go and it very hard because this would come naturally to me, but I have many sensitizing placements which make me extremely sensitive to others’ suffering, so I would be completely ruined working in an animal shelter or elderly home for instance. Not that I’m better off with what I’ve been trying to make money with/work, I am totally lost yet again when it comes to work. or my “calling” 😓

23 degree Aquarius-Sun, mercury, venus, lilith, ceres and pallas all in the house with mars and uranus in the 7th house. @@genievibes3675 i know what you mean, my son's nodes would change between 11th and 12th ... and i'm not sure ... aldo heard people who 'know' pluto believe they can spot a persons pluto ... but again i'm not sure the two houses are slways that clear ( my pluto could be 8th or 9th- both sort of fit to me) ... astro victor has a good vid on combining placidus and whole sign ... as does astro heather ... their perspectives of combining both seem wise! Hopr they help...But every new moon i'm really not sure what house i'm making a wish in now! Lol!

His claims are extremely Eurocentric and arguably colonialist, routinely imposing Western tropes and interpretations of other cultures' stories and religions that contradict how they are internally understood. Campbell is generally regarded as a hack outside of the uninformed American (and maybe Canadian?) public and media.

Great until he got political. My Pluto and Uranus in 11 h has taught me to not follow the crowd who appears to be social justices warriors, but have another agenda usually about control. The road to good is usually paved in hell. Btw, I’m a female minority who doesn’t feel like a victim thank goodness! Otherwise I have enjoyed the series.

Funny, I have Pluto and Uranus in the 11th and I'm a social justice warrior to the extent that I've been a major activist for over 20yrs. So it really does come down to where the house lord is, not just planet placements in the 11th. Plus our circumstances and how our life plays out through those energies will determine those "wishes and hopes" for the future.
Astrology isn't exempt from politics. The 11th House is Aquarian by nature, which is all about society and humanitarian issues. Eris represents feminism most of all the stars. Do a deep enough dive in the 11th house, and it's bound to be political in some way.

Interesting to hear ‘control’ mentioned - I have a low tolerance of power/control dynamics, and frequently have unpleasant encounters with people who practice these, in various social groups.
The eleventh house may revolve around politics in some senses, but he did stay on the real world politics longer than I'd like. Also just a lot of time focused on Eris where it could have been a different video altogether. Felt a little detracting from the focus of 11th house. But he still was able to explain it so that is nice.
