I have to challenge Dan's sophistry that sex drive and 'needs' are selfish and ungodly. Song of Solomon alone promotes taking pleasure in sexually pleasing your spouse. To answer marital conflicts with 'deny yourself because Jesus is all you need' is impractical and unbiblical; Jesus is our hope to be ultimately fulfilled, but mankind still have practical needs. She needs him and he desires her. Dan seems to be completely oblivious to the hierarchy God has created man and woman in. The solution to conflicts is already taught multiple times in the scriptures: wives obey your husband (Eph. 5:22). Woman's interest is to preserve her value, while man's is to build his value. They are to be fruitful and multiply (Gen. 1:28). I would recommend a better listen: Vodie Bachman.

You're all about forgiveness when the time is right, but what did the scripture say? God has forgiven you and you must forgive others. There is no except, and it doesn't depend on your timing.
There is no scripture saying forgive when you are ready. Forgive when you are satisfied. Forgive when that person begs for Mercy. The scripture say forgive because our father forgave us. You are speaking like the world.
