This operation is great for torpedo destroyers like shima and yueyang in particular becausse you can get close to the yoshinos at the start and smash them (they dont change course and because they come in two columns side by side, you cna hit the first column then any torp that miss will hit the second column behind them) then the battleships you have to kill at the end you can spawn kill also. Also Wisconsin is really good a destroying the broadside yoshinos, clausewitzes and yamatos/satsumas
Aegis in high tier seems to be an insurmountable problem for most players. I lose this map more often than win it because more than half the team is dead by the time the first phase ends. PTFO.

I've found that playing the battlecruisers like Alaska has been really effective, since they spam out a ton of cruisers with vulnerable cits.
