Blindfiring a radar cruiser that dies to 2 cits is the objectively correct decision rather than hitting a BB for 15k dmg farm, man is just a decent player
its practially impossible to citadel a low profile cruiser in smoke, where you dont even know its angle. on top of that if youre in a slow firing ship like Yamato, it just just makes the entire attempt stupid.
“Yo I’m still getting blind fired. There are so many better ships to shoot.” But there aren’t any better players to shoot at…Man sees Trenlass in the lobby and decides blind fire is the best way to help his team survive against the wrath of Trenlass.
This boat is going to be great in the hands of a skilled player, specially one that is already good in the Ragnar, since this is a slightly bigger Ragnar with smoke and torps. But average players will either die early in the match or barely do any damage if they make it to the end of the game, this is a ¨higher skill¨ level ship IMO.

Unless you specifically want it for comp, go with whats fun for you. Ragnar is not fun to play, but strong in comp. Though you might like that sort of playstyle (open water farming), in which case Ragnar is fine.
@@texas_militia98 No, Plymouth doesn't have a superheal, she has a regular cruiser heal. She also has atrocious firing angles. They also kinda do different things, Svea is fast and has very short smokes whilst Plymouth is slower, has regular smoke screens and relies on her crazy alpha strike to hammer DDs. Plymouth is easily overmatchable, Svea only needs to worry about 30mm overmatch. Plymouth can sit comfortably with hydro, Svea can't since she doesn't have hydro.
@@texas_militia98 The Plymouth torps are for self defence only due to lack of range. That being said I love my plymouth and dont regret getting it (my best steel purchase ever). The wows community is made up of a bunch of sheep that all reiterate the same nonsense, such as "get bourgogne first". Why. I dont like BBs, and my personal favourite playstyle is cap contesting DDs or CLs. So why would I get bourgogne. I also bought ragnar because it was recommended by the same sheep herd, and that ship is arse to play in terms of fun. It was a total waste of steel for me. That being said, while there are similarities between this and svea, they also differ a lot. Plymouth exists as a zoning tool that plays pretty stationary and has to mind positioning for broadside opportunities. this thing is a lot more flexible and imo more dangerous to DDs because of the HE. Plymouth can get some big alpha on DDs but after that they're usually angled and you're out of steam.

I just subscribed to you the other day. I appreciate your in-depth ship review videos.

I should play this game again and always emote "Requesting Assistance," the moment my ship's destroyed.

great vid :)
Moin Trenlass. Welchen Stahlkreuzer würdest du stärker einschätzen auch in Bezug auf Fun, Austin oder Svea?
^svea
austin ist sehr situations abhängig
@@trenlass809 Alles klar, vielen Dank!
👌.
Any ships you'd like added to the game? For me it's piorun. (Or a hyuga '43 hybrid just for the lols 😂)
Very nice
This ship or ragnar for steel first? What does everyone think?
I would go this ship, but then again even tho ragnar is strong af I dont like playing it
@@trenlass809 Valid. I know both are good, but if Svea is more fun then that is my goal

@@samuelhakansson6680 hmmmm... screw it im getting Austin
Having fun is more fun
If this thing had come into the game before I bought Ragnar, I would not have bought Ragnar.
Anyone see the new update to G Hoffman in the ships tool?
not me
@@trenlass809 better than it’s original stats, highest damage salvos of any dd in HE and AP
Actually just very high HE alpha for a German dd
I am not good enough to get any steel ship.
Just play a bit of ranked:)
@@trenlass809 ranked is probably the hardest way to get steel for someone whos not good. its all about CBs and Dockyard rewards and other rewards.
Crys about being blinded fired in smoke then continues to farm damage whilst blind firing into smoke.... trenlass 2024
I think plymouth is better
hard disagree from my side, but each to their own :D
@@trenlass809 sure it doesnt have HE but u still get torps long lasting smoke radar and pretty good concealment plus 16 guns
and a super heal i believe
