  • 455 at 160lb bodyweight FAIL. Typically, a good warmup would include some hip airplanes which would have adjusted my hip when it appears to have been out of place. The pressure of the contraction on my way up most likely pulled the hip socket out. I thought for sure this was either a torn adductor or detachment... Body Tempering is said to have strengthening properties for the tendons and muscles. It teaches your body to absorb pressure - strength IS pressure. In the case of pulled muscles or tears, we can choose to prepare our bodies for strength with Body Tempering. I am grateful to have been doing this for 3 years now and cannot believe I am not in a wheelchair right now.
