The king of khabarath harvesting dying people was one of my favourite twists, although he does get much time in the book, the mysterious journal entires of ‘XX seconds before death’ before each chapter being payed off like that was mind blowing

I’m on my second read and I’m Shallans POV on page 131 there is a line that reads “She raised her freehand to her head, suddenly overwhelmed by the weight of House Davar’s situation, her part in it, and the secret she now carried, hidden ten heartbeats away” so, so, good!
@@MUTV2 the shardblades take 10 seconds(/heartbeats) to appear. So saying ten heartbeats here gives us the reveal that Shallan always had a shardblade, we just didn't see it

I read this on my wheel of time book series break. I just finished reading books 4 through 7. So I thought I was getting a light story to wind down from reading 2100 plus pages. Nope. This book was not. I was not prepared, but pleasantly surprised. But by the end, my head was spinning. Thank you for this video. I think after meaty books like this, videos like this are a blessing. I bought this book for my daughters birthday last spring and she loved it asking me to get the other 2 books on print. I’m not into fantasy books at all. I haven’t even read The Lord of the Rings, but one day I thought I would read a bit to see what I was missing. Long story short I finished the book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately I’m a pretty slow reader nowadays so it took me 3 months to go through it. My memory isn’t quite as good as it used to be so this summary was perfect to help me recollect the main points. A big help before starting book 2. Thanks so much for the time and commitment to put this all together along with the nice visuals. Very much appreciated.

Holy good god, that was the shortest 48 minutes ever. Thank you thank you. I had to read this book three times, just to be able to really understand how awesome it is. Plus, it only gets better. The fan art is amazing, and really brings the characters to life. I can't wait to read more, and hear more, so yes, Words of Radiance, i'm in. Again, thank you. Your in depth summary's, hearing the names pronounced, all bring the characters to life. I still marvel at Sanderson's ability to world build, and character build, plus, wondered if any characters jumped, that is now confirmed. Whoa, lots here, so much to take in. Bravo.

Incredibly well done summary! There were many details and scenes that I had forgotten since I had read WoK (and a good few foreshadowing bits that definitely went over my head the first time I read). Definitely look forward to seeing a similar summary of Words of Radiance and Oathbringer!

The work of editing a piece like this is extremely tough and time consuming. I don't think people understand how much effort it takes to create scripts and get every cut perfect. Especially when it comes to matching the video, audio and music down to a beat. Any way this has got to now be the best review of the way of kings on RUclips. Holy good god, that was the shortest 48 minutes ever. Thank you thank you. I had to read this book three times, just to be able to really understand how awesome it is. Plus, it only gets better. The fan art is amazing, and really brings the characters to life. I can't wait to read more, and hear more, so yes, Words of Radiance, i'm in. Again, thank you. Your in depth summary's, hearing the names pronounced, all bring the characters to life. I still marvel at Sanderson's ability to world build, and character build, plus, wondered if any characters jumped, that is now confirmed. Whoa, lots here, so much to take in. Bravo.

Absolutely loved this. The visuals in particular are amazing, and the level of detail is just right to get a really comprehensive overview. It's actually really helpful for me as I'm halfway through book 2 and forgot some important stuff from the first book.

Omg your so good at lore videos and this review is absolute proof. Well done Jay you should be so proud of what you collected and put together. The work of editing a piece like this is extremely tough and time consuming. I don't think people understand how much effort it takes to create scripts and get every cut perfect. Especially when it comes to matching the video, audio and music down to a beat.
Any way this has got to now be the best review of the way of kings on RUclips. You deserve all the credit you can get bud.

I’m getting ready for Wind and Truth tomorrow and wanted a review of the other four books. I read them recently enough that I didn’t want to do the rereads. This was so helpful. There were a lot of details I had forgotten from the first book.
