I know why you’ve been putting so much effort into this video. Because the Stormlight Archive is one of the best book series of all time and Words of Radiance is my favorite book in it and arguably one of the best of the series 🤷♂️
I got side tracked between WOR and Oathbringer. Took a long while in between. Finally picked up Oathbringer recently. Started reading and felt a little lost. This video saved my bacon from a massive re-read. As I listened all the little details came back to me. You did a fantastic job in the recap. I truly appreciate the effort.
Believe me when I say Jay’s been working on this video everyday all day for at least a month. Above and beyond is an understatement!!!

I have been recommending your way of kings recap video everywhere, ever since I first saw it. The amount of work you did for that recap just blew me away. This looks like 3 times the effort of that one. Kudos to you.
I was thinking of just starting with the preview chapters without any recap, but now that I know that you are gonna put out these summaries before the release, i am going to wait and watch all the summaries and then start with Wind and Truth

Having just finished Rhythm of War a few weeks ago, all set for the last one, nothing is easier to click on than seeing a video entitled, "Words of Radiance." - My book club, one of the taglines is: "The Knights radiant, have returned." It's in my top 10 of all time.
I literally JUST finished Words of Radiance today and I am excited for this before going into Oathbringer. I’ve been listening to the audiobooks at work. It’s very easy to get through these books while your working for 8 hours listening lol also gets you through the work day faster
I really appreciate this. Saved me from having to go back and reread these enormous books prior to reading book 5.
Extremely well done and very much appreciated! For those who may be timid to watch due to the long length, it is made in a way that is easy to digest in small chunks, just like a book would be. I went through whole video over course of a few days.
As someone who started his Cosmere journey with Stormlight Archive, it was really cool to hear all the Easter eggs I missed originally now that I have read more Cosmere books.

I'm doing that also with a book atm by Rebecca Ross called Divine Rivals & Ruthless Vows because much like your summary i don't want it to end. Hmm come to think of it I was like that with the Fallen Series by Lauren Kate aswell plus a few other things in the fantasy genre too. Slowly go through and savour the good stuff!

It's been ages since I read the first two books, realising I couldn't remember a thing when I started the 3rd yesterday. Your two summaries are superb, very well scripted and edited, and obviously, a great deal of work went into them. I'm off to start the 3rd book now but I'll be back for that particular summary when I finish!

This was fantastic! I read through Oathbringer and began Rythm of War before life got crazy and other things took priority. Having these incredibly in depth summaries was amazing to review the first three 3 books so I can restart the fourth and eventually Wind and Truth. Thank you a million! On to Oathbringer.

I read book 1 almost 6 years ago and picked up book 2 at the beginning of oct of this year. I watched your video on the way of kings before starting to remind me what happened. I JUST finished book 2 and while I remember what happened this video is perfect timing now that I'm going into book 3! Thank you for all your hard work!

Again… great work on the narrating, artwork, and music to keep us engaged. I sincerely hope you get all the recognition and reward you deserve for the meticulous work.
Been waiting for this video and the ones to follow! Such an undertaking. I recently did my own reread of all of stormlight and listened to every episode of Lost in Roshar. From a fellow Canadian, you should feel proud of this accomplishment and it’s high quality.

Just finished The Ways of Kings. Not going to lie I struggled to get through 80% of it and at times felt like a chore to read. With that being said the last 20% was much better and i found myself enjoying and looking forward to the read. Would it be worth picking up Words of Radiance or is it similar to The Way of Kings where in my opinion there is excessive story/world building? Thanks fellow readers!
