I am having one doubt. The designation which I gave in the ibegin portal is Senior Systems Engineer, whereas in the relieving letter will be Senior Systems Executive. Will it be a problem since I am unable to change it now. I have already received the offer letter and accepted it and initiated the BGV process.

I cleared technical and managerial round in tcs. Will it create any issue during background verification because of 1 year of apprenticeship. Does tcs consider apprenticeship as a experience.
Bro, internships are fine and it's good to have them. In Bgc they basically check your employment and education Background. Unless you work in a company on a permanent basis, it's not considered as employment. Please subscribe my channel

Do they start doing employment verification with address verification or they do it later after we join tcs and submit exp letter of previous company. And one more thing do they check roles and responsibilities as well?
They don't check your last roles and responsibilities. They will first start with the address verification followed by your past employment verification. If your notice period is less than 3 months then there is high chance that your BgV process might not complete. In this case, tcs will not delay your joining. Yes sometime they will reach out to your previous manager and ask the basic stuffs. But it's not related to roles and responsibilities. So you dont need to worry about it
Sir, in NSR, I have generated that 12 digit IT pin. But now is it necessary to do that EBC verification from my side ? or I just have to submit that IT pin on Nextstep Portal and TCS will verify my documents.

Hi Sir In 2022 November I gave interview in TCS by keeping 4+ years and I recieved offer but didn’t joined because other offer from cognizant and now in June,2024 again I gave interview in TCS but now with my guniene experience of 3+ without fake years.Now problem is that in my candidature in “TCS IBEGIN-Next steps portal” is already exists with that fake experience. But now I am trying by removing that fake experience which I kept before. What can tell them if they question modifications in experiences?

If they ask for your pf account then you can say you don't have one because you didn't opt for the pf in your previous account. You should get ur marksheet from the college to avoid such confusions and stress at the last moment

After working in a DEF company for 2years Now I am planning to switch to TCS my mistake is that I mentioned about the internship in TCS. I have accepted an offer letter also. Will it cause any issues in the background verification? I don't have an internship completion certificate or experience or relieving letter for my internship with ABC company.

Hi i gave TCS interview last Saturday via walk in,TR and MR both they took same day and told they will send offfe letter this week after document verification, my documents seems verified and one HR called me today for adhar id verification but in that they again took one TR round and told they need to review my profile once again who took interview initially and get back in TCS portal my candidature showing profile created ,does it mean they send rejection mail after sending selected mail.

No that will not be an issue on the BGV checks. Actually in this case you might find issues while working . You have to show that you can work on this technology.
I have a one year gap in 2015-2016 and 2020-2021, will they consider only the years or will they also consider the months for my one year gap in 2015-2016 and 2020-2021 during background verification?

Aap ek baar HR se khul k baat Karo ish k bare mei and un se pucho what can be the solution from TCs point of view. TCS is getting very strict with the back ground checks these days .

Don't assume anything unless the offer is released. Many things can happen at last moment . Sometimes it takes just weeks and sometimes it may take months to get the offer letter . Please be patient, i am sure you will get it . Regarding exact time , you should follow up with your recruiter/ HR. They would be the one who can give you exact information. Name of the University changes sometimes and it should not be an issue because what they will validate is the name of your institution when your were studying there and by records they will find out what was the name back then
Bro pls hlp I have overlapping issue with Company A And Company B . In Company A i worked for 6 mnths but i am not received rlvng ltr and Company B i am joined as a Fresher. After Company B i am joined in TCS after 1.9 yr in TCS i show only Company B's Exp alone. Now Company A and B Overlap wich held TCS BGV Fail? Pls answer. If you have given the attested marksheets then that should not be much issue. Just inform them about the situation. Even we provide original marksheets, they will validate that too from your college. With in a month i have to join new organization.will incorrect father name in epfo will create any problem in background verification. Hello, I was working in company A and within 22 days I left the company by sending resignation letter. I was in training period so was not suppose to serve notice period but company A created pf account. Then joined company B as a fresher and now going to tcs with exp of B. I am not showing exp of A comapny but communicated everything with my HR and not hide anything from my HR. Company A has given me f and f letter. Tcs also marked company A as irrelevant exp. Now will my bgc fail as I dont have exp or releiving letter for compAny A.

Hi Bro, the first copany i worked as a contract employe and I have all the doc related to releving and the experience and that company doesn't have PF for contract employees. and joined the second company on dec 23rd but the first company contract end date is 31dec same they have mentioned in the relieving letter and my second company didn't consider that 6 month as experirince and i went as a fresher. Will this overlap of 7 days cause any problem in by bgc? if so what can i do. I have accepted the offer and my company processed the paper immediately now I'm unemployed and waiting to join TC as my join date given as early June. I'm worried with this confusions.

If you are joining as fresher, it will be mostly education documents from 10th to Btech and your documents related to your identity like adhar, pan and passport

You can't initiate the bgc process by urself. You will get an email to upload all the documents. Tcs will initiate it and you will get an email with all the details.if they have not yet started it, it's delay at their end . You don't need to worry. Wish you all the best

I upload my graduation mark sheet but percentage I mentioned there was wrong It shoud 66 and I mentioned by mistake 67 So this will create any problem ? Also in i begin portal my all documents is verified

Brother, the only option here is to try to keep reaching out to the recruiter. Recruiter is the only one who can tell you what exactly is happening with the opening . @@bijaynitd08 hlo sir I got 23 in my computer network during my 6th semester and according to our university we need to have 30 overall for passing in that subject but one can opt for 10 marks grace if he want to clear that subject so I took 10 marks grace acc to ordinance of the university .I am passed in that subject .So its written as Pass with grace in my result with COP written .Will it affect my bgc process pls reply . I have no backlog acc to university ordinance but on result its written Pass with Grace and COP in that particular subject .Will hr ask me to resign or I have to write email to them for letting them clear about this thing

Hi Sir , during salary negotiation with hr i have told them an approx amount which is more than my written ctc because in my ctc document target bonus is 5 percent but actually we get bonus way more that , last 2 year i got 15 and 22 perccent , so i explained them this and wanted to negotiated on an approx amount. they did not ask me for any proof that time , in the bgv form however i have given the written amount in ctc document and i have attached all necessary documents and all.can it cause any problem . please reply , thanks in advance
Hi Sir, I will be getting the offer letter at the end of this month till 30th June. I have all salary slips of my current company till May. I will not be having it for June month as my current company stops paying me. As HR asked me to upload the last 3 months salary slip on iBegin, I uploaded till May. Will there be any issue in BGV or will they ask me June month salary slip also as I am getting offer letter on 30th June. Plz help.
Don't worry much brother. If Hr comes back and asks for the last moment salary slip, just explain him your situation and they will guide you better as per the tcs policy . My understanding is this shouldn't be an issue but still recruiter is the best person to give more insight. Wish you all the best

If you have the proper document for that Company like joining letter and the relieving letter then there should not be issue . To get it corrected , please contact the HR of that company and ask them to correct it
Hello sir, im currently pursuing my final semester in college, i got tcs offer in September 2022, after my 7th sem there was a holidays of nearly 3 months so that i went to job in some company from November 2022 to February 2023,this job was not at all related to my studies it was totally different, that company has created my pf account, later on i resigned in that company due to my studies, should i mention this as my experience in tcs now ? Bro, you should be honest about it. Please tell these things to your the relevant person and ask him that does this experience count and do you need to declare it . And if they say yes then declare it and mention that because i had to pursue my 8th sem, i didn't serve any notice period and didn't get change to collect the relevant documents Don't worry much . You have not done any crime and these things happen to many of us and these all get sorted out. It's always better to be honest and share your situation

Absolutely not. The only criteria is your CV and the interview process. If you basically update the skills that you self learnt in your resume and you later clear the technical interview aswll then there is no further checking .

Do they start doing employment verification with address verification or they do it later after we join tcs and submit exp letter of previous company. And one more thing do they check roles and responsibilities as well?
They don't check your last roles and responsibilities.
They will first start with the address verification followed by your past employment verification. If your notice period is less than 3 months then there is high chance that your BgV process might not complete. In this case, tcs will not delay your joining. They will ask you to join and parallely the BgV also happens.

Yes sometime they will reach out to your previous manager and ask the basic stuffs. But it's not related to roles and responsibilities. So you dont need to worry about it

In 2022 November I gave interview in TCS by keeping 4+ years and I recieved offer but didn’t joined because other offer from cognizant and now in June,2024 again I gave interview in TCS but now with my guniene experience of 3+ without fake years.Now problem is that in my candidature in “TCS IBEGIN-Next steps portal” is already exists with that fake experience. But now I am trying by removing that fake experience which I kept before. What can tell them if they question modifications in experiences?

If they ask for your pf account then you can say you don't have one because you didn't opt for the pf in your previous account.

No, internship will not have any issues .no one is going to ask you to validate what internship you have done .

Hi i gave TCS interview last Saturday via walk in,TR and MR both they took same day and told they will send offfe letter this week after document verification, my documents seems verified and one HR called me today for adhar id verification but in that they again took one TR round and told they need to review my profile once again who took interview initially and get back in TCS portal my candidature showing profile created ,does it mean they send rejection mail after sending selected mail.
Hi, rejection after walk in selection is very rare. I would suggest you to call the recruiter, the HR and ask him in detail what is going on . He should be the right person to give clarity. We can only sit and make an assumption here.

No that will not be an issue on the BGV checks. Actually in this case you might find issues while working . You have to show that you can work on this technology.

Name of the University changes sometimes and it should not be an issue because what they will validate is the name of your institution when your were studying there and by records they will find out what was the name back then

If you have given the attested marksheets then that should not be much issue. Just inform them about the situation. Even we provide original marksheets, they will validate that too from your college.

I'm a fresher who got offer letter, When I was filling application form to apply for TCS, I made one mistake in the application form that did not mention study break of 1 year and right now in BGC I'm unable to upload my gap affidavit on BGC form as the BGC form option is not available to upload gap affidavit, at present I have submitted my documents and unable to edit it.
What should i do sir? Will I be terminated for false information. I have also written mail to onboarding team but no reply
This should not be much of an issue. You can drop an email to the recruiter stating the same and recruiter will take it to the BGV team

I already send joint declaration form for father name correction.dont know how much time it will take.
With in a month i have to join new organization.will incorrect father name in epfo will create any problem in background verification.
Do IT company checks father name in epfo portal for background verification.
Incorrect father name or address in epfo will not have any issues. So nothing to worry .you can work in background to get it corrected.

I was working in company A and within 22 days I left the company by sending resignation letter. I was in training period so was not suppose to serve notice period but company A created pf account.
Then joined company B as a fresher and now going to tcs with exp of B. I am not showing exp of A comapny but communicated everything with my HR and not hide anything from my HR. Company A has given me f and f letter. Tcs also marked company A as irrelevant exp.
Now will my bgc fail as I dont have exp or releiving letter for compAny A.
It should not create any issue .

the first copany i worked as a contract employe and I have all the doc related to releving and the experience and that company doesn't have PF for contract employees. and joined the second company on dec 23rd but the first company contract end date is 31dec same they have mentioned in the relieving letter and my second company didn't consider that 6 month as experirince and i went as a fresher.
Will this overlap of 7 days cause any problem in by bgc? if so what can i do.

Ask for it from your previous company. If they say they can't then ask for the reason on the email so that you have the proof
I was terminated. Hence they are not willing to give me the relieving letter. Now this will cause a problem if I want to join a MNC. I cannot show career gap as well since the PF was deducted. I am in a helpless situation actually.@@bijaynitd08

If you are joining as fresher, it will be mostly education documents from 10th to Btech and your documents related to your identity like adhar, pan and passport

You can't initiate the bgc process by urself. You will get an email to upload all the documents. Tcs will initiate it and you will get an email with all the details.if they have not yet started it, it's delay at their end . You don't need to worry.

Just don't delay things on your end . Don't worry about joining, even if the bgv is not completed, tcs will onboard you and then the bgv will go parallely

Brother, the only option here is to try to keep reaching out to the recruiter. Recruiter is the only one who can tell you what exactly is happening with the opening . Sometimes recruiters can give very hard time , they won't pick the calls or reply to your emails but there is no option for us .

my university gives marksheet based on cgpa which is 7+ for me, but when i convert to percentage it gets less than 70, will they reject my offer letter?
Also the offer letter states different critera, it states it to be 60% but our on campus placement message the criteria was 70%

If you already have an offer from TCS then now there is no issues . They would check all of these before releasing the offer .
Hi Sir , during salary negotiation with hr i have told them an approx amount which is more than my written ctc because in my ctc document target bonus is 5 percent but actually we get bonus way more that , last 2 year i got 15 and 22 perccent , so i explained them this and wanted to negotiated on an approx amount. they did not ask me for any proof that time , in the bgv form however i have given the written amount in ctc document and i have attached all necessary documents and all.can it cause any problem . please reply , thanks in advance

Hi Sir, I will be getting the offer letter at the end of this month till 30th June. I have all salary slips of my current company till May. I will not be having it for June month as my current company stops paying me. As HR asked me to upload the last 3 months salary slip on iBegin, I uploaded till May. Will there be any issue in BGV or will they ask me June month salary slip also as I am getting offer letter on 30th June. Plz help.
Don't worry much brother. If Hr comes back and asks for the last moment salary slip, just explain him your situation and they will guide you better as per the tcs policy .
My understanding is this shouldn't be an issue but still recruiter is the best person to give more insight.

It depends on how soon is your date of joining. If you are joining company after 90 days of your notice period then things will be slow and the communication will start only in the last 2/3 weeks .

Salary slip is needed. Just inform the recruiter of new company about the same and he will definitely tell you what needs to be done .

If you have the proper document for that Company like joining letter and the relieving letter then there should not be issue .

Hello sir, im currently pursuing my final semester in college, i got tcs offer in September 2022, after my 7th sem there was a holidays of nearly 3 months so that i went to job in some company from November 2022 to February 2023,this job was not at all related to my studies it was totally different, that company has created my pf account, later on i resigned in that company due to my studies, should i mention this as my experience in tcs now ? Bro, you should be honest about it. Please tell these things to your the relevant person and ask him that does this experience count and do you need to declare it . And if they say yes then declare it and mention that because i had to pursue my 8th sem, i didn't serve any notice period and didn't get change to collect the relevant documents
Don't worry much . You have not done any crime and these things happen to many of us and these all get sorted out. It's always better to be honest and share your situation
