P.S. I literally just saw your stick.. I use a telescoping shower rod. It's got rubber non-slip ends and adjusts depending on where I place it. I'll stop rambling. I enjoyed your video 😊
Neat idea! I have a one piece tonneau cover that I made hinges for in the front along the top of the box. I've been thinking about a similar idea to yours by using salvaged canvas from an old pop up camper so it already has zippered windows and screens. I like your wooden frame sections. I wonder if I could fasten all of the components to the underside of the tonneau, using hinges so they would fold down into place when I pick the cover up? Gotta get to work on this. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you I will. I tested it at Crawling Valley the other weekend and it was great with one caveat: I would go with a decent air mattress next time. A small thermarest type camping pad was sore hip city. :-)
I have been camping like this for years. Glad to see someone thinks like me. I also use magnet's to secure a mosquito net over top of this. 🎉
That's awesome. Mosquito netting is a great upgrade.

I am totally doing this!! Great Idea man!
Awesome. Glad it helped.
Jordan, looks great. Look forward to seeing it in action.
Thanks. It's been a comfy option for me a couple times. :-)
Thanks for sharing your idea. I'm going to try something similar in a few months.
Great idea and even greater name for it. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for checking it out. It's a fun option.
Been thinking of a truck camping set up but don’t want to pay for a topper. This will work great with folding cover.
Right on. Glad you like it.

Sounds like a great idea. I hope it works out well for you.
Fun! Please do a follow up video of your set up at your camp site!

Ingenious
Haha. Thanks. I like to "think outside the tent" :-)
I just saw this
I have a trifold . Thinking something similar
Glad you checked it out. I slept in it a few times before finding a good deal on a canopy but I was happy with it overall
Cool
Thank you kindly
Hot glue some rare earth magnets along the outside lower bottom of the fabric. That way, the fabric is held in place, and will not scratch your paint.
Excellent idea
