Hey thanks for checking out my video, I hope there’s a few ideas that you can use for your own camper build! - Rob
Hubby & I just bought your build. You did a fantastic job. We currently have a CVT tent but a build like yours is our dream! Thank you so much for selling your build at an affordable price. We are also really grateful to find you, thanks for doing what you do! 🍻
TY! I'm trying to do your setup except pull out the whole system like a cargo slide but with room to stand in the middle of it all. I have a '97 c1500 /w no wheel wells so I have a perfect 78.5"x48.75" box to work with.
Loved all your work. Your love of the “American plastic cheese” made me laugh. As for pancake toppings: I used to only eat pancakes if I could spread them with grape jelly! Thanks for sharing your work with the world!
Thanks for part 2. I bought the plans for the camper and am planning on building it for my work truck so I can have a camping set up above my tools. I may also do a modular interior set up like yours so I can interchange them. I love this build. One thing I'm curious. Can you still fit your bike inside? Also, you may need to put an awning above the big tent side. With the netting on the exterior, the angle allows water to build up against the interior door.
Be sure to check for wires that may rub together or on something else, because they obviously love make fire babies with DIY jobs😁 .. love your work but!
"strawberry flavored timber" .. "terrible camera angle" ... " design" ... "evict a bee" ... your master craft extends well into the editing room! Fantastic work as always😆
haha cheers mate!
Very much this! The design whisper was LIFE
Instead of a 2 burner stove, consider a folding backpacking stove for the occasional second burner. It takes less cupboard space and can be brought on hikes. It works in our camper van.
Videos this good deserve to be pushed by the algorithm.
That access to the cutlery and gas cooker from inside is genius.
The footage of you cooking, eating, and washing dishes was KEY. Throughout the build process I was like, "This is fascinating! I wonder if I could do this?" Then seeing you actually using it all I was like, "THIS SPEAKS TO MY SOUL!"
Functional, budget friendly, and it even looks good! Nice build. Thanks for sharing.
In addition to being an expert in a wide range of DIYs, you are a lot of fun. I've been waiting for this video for a long time. Is this the time you are going to tour NZ? accept a hug from the antipodes.
Excellent work you should be proud
Thank goodness you didn't put a beet on that burger. Thanks for a lot of great ideas. I'm building a pop up for a trailer, and your kitchen is working very well for some solutions to my inside/out dilemma. Working and living in South Island, taught me so much about fabrication and no obstacle to big. Fabulous video(s).
Great setup in the tray and no doubt you're looking forward to many camp trips with the simple access to everything. Well done ✅
What a beauty! To the point, highly functional, and inspirational.
Bonus point - looks super cozy!
Add magnets to your tailgate flatscreen so it seals and self closets. Like those made for pets etc on home doors in place of a solid screen door. Also, you do great work! Love the channel.
At the end when you were cooking inside and the fabric kept blowing inside, just put a small strip of velcro on the outside and it will stick ! :)
Appreciate the video, man. I live up in Canada and we pride ourselves on having one of the best backyards on the planet, so I've been studying up on plenty of ideas for a DIY camper myself, as money is expensive, I love to have stuff I built myself, and my wife isn't a huge fan of roughing it like this old country boy is used to. So, I appreciate the attention to detail in your explanation! Cheers!
I have a kitchen towel roll on a dowel above my lathe... it unrolls in the wind... GUESS WHAT I'LL BE DOING!
Thanks for another neat video, you really are the complete package! 😜
absolutely love your attention to detail
You have serious skill! What a camper. And way to save some money!
always great quality videos with excellent instructions. greetings from Dublin Ireland
Absolutely epic! Awesome job!
Fantastic work mate! I wish I was half that handy!
Cad is a great way to make a template. "cardboard aided design".
haha exactly!
What an awesome video and build! Amazing work!!
Damn, just really great job with it all.
Hello from the US! Love your work and filming! 10 out of 10, with a fraction off, because of that cheese choice! 😂
Keep em coming!
Well thought out. 👍
This guys is extremely talented. In many ways. Such good videos.
Well done! Thoughtfully designed, built and edited.
Awesome build inside the camper. The accessibility was well thought off. Great job 👍🏼
This was a great design!
Brilliant. Well done. 👍
that elastic to bring in the fabric of the pop top is brilliant
Well done!
Loved the space inside
Inspirational video love your work shop too.
Loving your build and videos. Greetings from NY!
I’ve been brainstorming a camper layout similar to this for a while now. I loved seeing all of the features you built in and the testing portion was an awesome bit to include. Keep it up!
Love the build on this camper. I like how everything just fit inside the flat bed area, also the bed extend all the way to the front of the cab. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to see you considering weight. I see so many camper builds that use so much thick wood which inevitably ends up weighing so much.
The most beautiful..!!
I was going to comment about the bungee cord to pull the fabric in on your last video. Now you have added it, you need 2 tension wires running inside from the top of the lid down to the adjacent camper base corner. These wires will stop the bungee cord pulling in the fabric with the roof up, and prevent the roof from over extending in extreme winds.
I am building a canopy camper in Korea. Your camper is also very nice. We support you.
Absolutely a brilliant idea . Enjoy outdoor camping
👍🏽 Great video, thank s for making it and sharing. It turned out better than what can be bought.
very good, I was up kiatoke camping 3 days ago, good campsite when it isnt windy
Awesome Bro!
Really glad your channel popped up on my feed
Wow! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. So much merit. Congratulations! A hug from Portugal.
It's so perfect! I could live forever in that vehicle ❤
Sorry, just one word: Brilliant!!!
Great video, great ideas and a great project!!!
Greetings from Berlin/Germany 🙂
5 of 5 stars
GREAT JOB!!!!
Absolutely amazing. Well done.
Great job! Keep building and making videos.
Compita Congrats Thats a SWEET Set Up that You Made.
Stunning! Congratulations to this build
That thing looks fantastic. Makes me want to get a pickup truck next time around.
I’m really curious to know how the tent fabric holds up when it gets rainy and windy. But no matter what, being able to stay inside the shell and stand up fully on a crappy day must be magical.
Thanks! Yeah it's so nice to be able to stand up in the back, makes getting dressed a whole lot easier too haha.
I'm always nervous about the tent and the wind as well, but so far it's stood up against some pretty serious gusts
Totally amazing! Keep up the creativity .
Amazing Build!! Thanks for sharing….
I think you found the perfect balance of luxury and minimalism with your camping gear and method. Aside, my Vote for best topping for pancakes: Strawberry Preserves! Not Jelly nor Jam; Preserves have more solid chunks of fruit with some added sugar. Yum indeed. Cheers. Steve, Utah, USA
Brilliant! I absolutely enjoyed following this build! Great job and I love how easy you make it look😅
Well thought out build, thanks!
Will you have a resource pack for the kitchen? I have a camper but would love the kitchen build out you have created! It's perfect.
Wow guy, he did it cool, there is not enough awning on the driver's side, and a square tent so that it can be installed in front of the entrance to the kung, the shower container can be made from a large-section plastic pipe.. Have a good rest in nature.
OUTSTANDING!!
Absolutely amazing build. Great work!
Very well thought out interior. Great attention to detail. I personally like adding some bacon to my peanut butter and banana crepes. Sometimes a little siracha to add that hot sweet if you're using maple syrup
Thanks! oh bacon on there would have been epic. I'm going to have to try siracha/maple too, that sounds fun haha
You bloody genius ! bravo
Dude.... You've done well! Awesome work!
Very well thought out build and informative! Great job!
man.
i do love your format.
love it. :)
very inspiring .. keep it up
Amazing work!
Good stuff! Thanks
Love your use of CAD, Cardboard aided design.
Great thoughtful build.
27:52 my favourite pancake topping, a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of sugar on an individual pancake an roll it up!
Sounds like Dutch Baby pancakes... Not a bad way to have them!
Okay, for my go-to high energy breakfast, I like fried peanut butter sandwiches. Cooked similar to a grilled cheese sandwich, but with peanut butter, cinnamon and sugar on the inside (instead of cheese). Then syrup on top. It's definitely tasty
😎👍
Fantastic build. This is def one my fav ive seen
Brilliantly edited as per usual.
Absolutely great video and how you build a great camper on a fair budget and great b-roll and fun story too…I am about to build something similar and therefore found this video probably..best greetings fro Germany ;)
เก่งจัง ทำสวยมากด้วย ขอบคุณสำหรับสิ่งสวยงามนี้😊
You must be proud of your creation, good work
Totally brilliant fitout, Mate!
Bravo mate!
Cool build! Thanks!
For oancakes: Strawberry jam. Peanut butter, banana, chocolate sauce, but I cook them in bacon grease. Dark maple syrup and crunchy bacon.
Love it! Another great video Rob very impressive!
Cheers Zoe!
AWESOME BUILT!!!! Love your cabinets/sliding platform/standing height platform and so much more!! Will definitely "borrow" some of your ideas. As I watched you devour those lovely pancakes, I had an idea.. Bar stool..!! Ok, it'll have to be some sort of folding unit to not take up too much space but I'm sure you can come up with something. Wouldn't it be neat to be able to eat inside while sitting and enjoying the view? Look forward to your future projects!!
Love the longer videos, thanks for the great content!
Dude, the vlog style close out of your build video show casing all your work in action is super different and satisfying.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant 👏
Very nice!
awnings around the vehicle would be awesome and having an emergency toilet wouldnt be bad.
Love your work
Construction and video and storyline and pace of video.
Good job mate!
I was about to comment on the tent build that you need to do an interior build.... then I found this. About to watch! Your stuff is amazing.
Love the camper build, thank you for sharing with the rest of us. I would like to see a "list" of the parts that your used, especially the 'electrical system' whenever you might have the time.
Brilliant! French toast😂
That is one heck of a beautiful camper!! For pancake you can try hazelnut spread also known as nutella here in Canada! Cheers!
Thank you! Yum, love nutella spread
Your man after my ❤. I mean my truck. Awesome vide
Bru, you sound like you've spent some time in South Africa. Very nice work on this and the camper top, you've given me some ideas.
Awesome 👍🏻
