Look at that list and say who is Sarina not going to take from them? Zelem and Coombs look like a no. Robinson is in the tried and trusted path of being thrown back to the U23's so unless her form dramatically improves at Villa that's a no. Wubben - Moy seems to be just a filler for the squad and surely we have enough centre backs already as Turner must be ahead of her in the reserves to the 23 but probably not in Sarina's eyes. So that means 6 of that 10 would be based on Sarin's current squads would be added to the 16 players listed above. That makes 22. So that leaves just 1 space. Now that means Naz will be dropped ( rightly so for me ) and what does Sarina do about ABJ? Now unless I am proved wrong in these 2 up coming friendlies ABJ is not high on Sarina's list as she already has her standard group of front players. Now I say this as the last 2 friendlies threw up the question that Sarina was not really held to account for which was why did Naz start up front instead of ABJ against South Africa when Naz's goal scoring record and shot accuracy is not impressive. 1 Goal in WSL this season and that was after she shot straight at the Palace keeper with the whole goal to aim at and scored the rebound. Last 30 WSL games only 4 goals yet ABJ in just 24 games has 14 goals!! Make that make sense. On top of that in the South Africa game in which Sarina got her line up and tactics completely wrong yet again she took Naz off and put Russo on instead of ABJ? Why? it is a friendly. Give Russo a rest and see what ABJ can do. But as I say I hope I am proved wrong, but I think Sarina did not play her at all because she did not want a headache of having another top goal scorer when she has her favourites already. This conclusion is based on how Sarina's total reluctance to change her players and bring in new ones. Fara raises the issue of Parris, but I would challenge you on that. Parris has been tested and Sarina dropped her. ABJ has never been tested and her goal scoring record in the last 2 season outshines Parris and she is normally a sub. Parris has scored 3 goals for an inform side and being gifted goals by players like Kirby and Pattinson ( why is she not in the squad? ) but what about BLANCHARD who also has 3 goals and is playing in a weaker side yet is performing at the same level as the best in the league. She is ignored because of who she is playing for!!!! She was consistently ignored by the U23's which appears to be the only way you get in the squad!! The U23 is being used as a holding pen and excuse not to try players. Form does not matter to Sarina. Mace has to play, but both her and Blinkilde-Brown will be thrown back to U23's as they are only there because of injuries even though I would have Mace in the squad permanently as she is the future Walsh and a tactical skilful player who could also form a brick wall playing alongside Walsh to protect us against the constant counter attacks. I would question what Sarina would have done if Oberdorf was emerging as a talent as that is how high I rate Mace. I think Oberdorf would have been stifled by Sarina's lack of ability to allow young talent to blossom. Sarina has no interest in these 2 players for the Euros or World cup qualifiers she has her favourites and that is it unless they are Lauren James or Clinton playing well at a big club. But look how Sarina talked about Clinton after the last friendlies...she immediately down played her and basically said she is not ready. Yet Sarina keeps picking Toone ahead of Park and Clinton which is madness! For me Sarina is a short term manager who comes in and gives players belief but has no idea or desire to build for the future. We already know her starting line up for the Euros....its the same players as always. Not good enough. So 1 space is up for grabs yet no one is talking about!!!!!! Players who played in the Euros know they will be starting in the next Euros regardless of their form and the lack of any varied tactics or new starters shows why every team we play causes us problems.....but Sarina ploughs on like the Titanic heading for the Iceberg and pundits/journalists and rose-tinted glasses wearing fans wave and cheer at the dockside ignoring all the warning signs!!! Good coaches are always refreshing and moving forward and have competition in the squad....listen to Emma Hayes she is screaming out her plans and desire to spread the net wide in her plan to win the world cup while developing players. Sarina is still talking about getting her players to make good decisions and not to give the ball away that is the level of tactics we have got to! Daly got fed up with it....Greenwood must be fuming and ABJ will eventually start get disillusioned.

It's beyond belief,always makes me laugh when you see Sarina watching a game it's always the big teams at the big stadiums ,I doubt I'll ever see her on a wet afternoon in Crawley!

Alongside Walsh to create a brick wall against the counter attacks we are so vulnerable to and both of them are so comfortable and calm on the ball with the ability to create attacks as well. Huge fan ( even as a Palace fan ) of many of the Brighton's players. Poppy should have been called up last season and should have been in for the Germany friendly when we had no left footed left back in the squad. She reminds me of the German/Bayern player Gwinn when she first started playing for the u19's. Both huge talents, and both a bit too aggressive at times. Gwinn has calmed her game down now. Poppy has a very very bright future ahead of her . My favourite Brighton player is Baggaley. Been a fan of hers since she was at Bristol City and for me the unsung hero at Brighton. Still can't get over the saves she made last season against Leicester to secure the win and away to West Ham ( think it was away ) in the 0-0 draw. The West Ham save was outstanding. How she saved that is amazing...should have had a call up last year IMO. She even made a late great save against us this season to secure you the points. To be Brighton's players player of the season last season when Brighton had Terland in the team says everything about Baggaley for me. Regarding Parris she has met the requirements apparently given to her by Sarina but as Sarina has shrunk the Euro squad down to just 23 I can't see it happening. She has to go on a goal scoring spree the rest of the season. The reasons I am slightly not in Parris's corner is she has a tendency to go missing or be easily dealt with against the top 3 sides. Last season she was taken off in every game against Arsenal, City and Chelsea and against Arsenal this season she was very quiet. That's just me though she has every right to wonder why she has not been called up though.

But can I suggest you drop the media training on this podcast, as much as Ik you know alot of this England team and the staff. It sometimes feels like you are trying to be too safe over giving a really insightful outlook. And I want to clarify I’ve watched you and listened to you. Ik you have so much insight into the game and you are really really experienced. So let that shine through. However I also recognise that as Fara gives us a lot of the uncensored opinions you want to play devils advocate. And also you want to give us an insight from the England perspective which i get however stop worrying about others opinions and just say what you think. At the end of the day you’ve started a podcast, this gives you the opportunity to speak your mind. And ofc you want to be compassionate and you want to keep friends and continue building a relationship with the FA for coaching opportunities. However it’s ok to be uncensored as well. It looks from outside like the players who won the Euros get pushed to the front of the queue by the FA as they need player recognition for a fleeting TV audience in order to grow the game. Emma seemed to be needed in US to 're build a team that had been similar, but was losing. Can Anita's U23 players not get more chances in the regular team, in the way the US is doing? I would point to Aggie Beever Jones. Last year I was criticising Emma for not giving her more game time at Chelsea in case not just England needed her, but in case she needed to do a job at the back end of the UWCL campaign.

Jaedyn Shaw didn’t play at the Olympics, but she can score goals for the USWNT and has many times (look her up). Alyssa Thompson is another young gun who is making her mark and they both have Lynn Williams to learn from on this roster. People think the Olympics is a tournament that doesn’t matter, but it’s a grueling, short sprint that only the strongest teams can qualify for and then survive. Emma Hayes understood the assignment and pushed our team to the limit and they won.
The main reason is in the English league foreign players have more time on the pitch while English players have more time on the bench , that’s why other nations are getting better than England and Serena has a limited choice on selecting players, and when the performance is poor they blame it on the manager

It looks from outside like the players who won the Euros get pushed to the front of the queue by the FA as they need player recognition for a fleeting TV audience in order to grow the game. Emma seemed to be needed in US to 're build a team that had been similar, but was losing. Can Anita's U23 players not get more chances in the regular team, in the way the US is doing? I would point to Aggie Beever Jones. Last year I was criticising Emma for not giving her more game time at Chelsea in case not just England needed her, but in case she needed to do a job at the back end of the UWCL campaign.

We don’t have Triple Espresso, but we ain’t lacking in fire power. Jaedyn Shaw didn’t play at the Olympics, but she can score goals for the USWNT and has many times (look her up). Alyssa Thompson is another young gun who is making her mark and they both have Lynn Williams to learn from on this roster.

The main reason is in the English league foreign players have more time on the pitch while English players have more time on the bench , that’s why other nations are getting better than England and Serena has a limited choice on selecting players, and when the performance is poor they blame it on the manager
