    This is one the premier matchups we should get twice a year. One stateside, the other at Wembley. I hope we get USA/Spain at some point.

    Love your prediction of a 2-2 draw. Also love the "FFS, the splinters in your bum from sitting on the fence" reaction. 😂 Here's hoping for a high-scoring, free-flowing, highly entertaining, evenly matched goal fest. 😀

    Triple Espresso won’t be there, but Alyssa Thompson and Jaedyn Shaw will. They should frighten defensive backlines, honestly.

      @erobinsonii 22 дня назад +1

      The safest bet would be Lynn, Alyssa T and Jaedyn with the rest of the team being the Olympic starting roster. Then again, Emma might completely change things.

      @ Emma is going to give minutes to the newbies like Ryan, Hershfelt, Sentnor, Yohannes and Sears during this window for sure, and Lynn Williams is a great guiding hand for them. And what can be said about Alyssa and Jaedyn except that they are hungry to find the ball and score as many goals and create opportunities like no one’s business. Our future is soooo awesome!!😍🇺🇸⚽️

    I hate to say it but I’m predicting 2-1 to USA and possibly even 3-1. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t feel our back four have learned from previous mistakes.

      Thompson wins the match up versus Williamson, especially early on.

    Why would Girma move from San Diego? She's well-paid and living near her family. And who wouldn't want to play in San Diego with that perfect year-round weather? :)

    • @IngridKamstra
      @IngridKamstra 21 день назад +1

      Well, apart from the fact that San Diego Wave has been a bit sh*t this season, especially after firing Casey Stoney, and they have all sorts of dysfunction and law suits going on off-field as well. 🤔

    As a neutral I can't see the US not winning. I feel there's a few injuries and issues for the Lionesses that dip things in the US's favor. I think the 'ex' is going to wreak havoc ;) That reference made laugh.

    Correction: the last 2 major tournaments: they made the final (not facing a top 9 team until the final) and didn’t qualify

  • @alansmithee8831
    @alansmithee8831 22 дня назад

    Hello Chloe and Rachel. Having rewatched the 2019 semi final, 2-2 would have been blooming marvellous. I commented about Emma on US channels all last year up to the Olympics, in terms similar to the ones in your video. She proved me right. England beware, but come on and beat her too.

    USA are missing their entire front line and are depending on players who have little experience, save for Williams who is a brilliant two way player but not a consistent finisher. England's roster have tons of time/ success together and always bring their A game v America. 1-0 Lionesses perhaps 2-0. Russo finding the net.

    • @anthonynavarrete2691
      @anthonynavarrete2691 22 дня назад +6

      Tbh I think bringing players with little international experience plays in the USWNT’s favor because think about it - this is the team with the deepest talent pool in the world and chances are hard to come by. They’ll be desperate to prove themselves and make the team. And it’s not like these are bad players. The US has some of the best young players in the game. The US should win this one mainly because that English backline is veryyyy sus

    • @honeyboltzblue4627
      @honeyboltzblue4627 22 дня назад

      @anthonynavarrete2691 yeah, especially if Thompson's trajectory continues on the way it has. Maybe the hunger to prove themselves will elevate their game. If the US can bottle up Walsh they'll have a good shot. Wonder if Lily will get significant time?

    England will get stuffed as she will play the same side. She has new players but they won’t play because she doesn’t play for arsenal

  • @franciscoarzaga4384
    @franciscoarzaga4384 22 дня назад +2

    The main thing is in the English league foreign players have more time on the pitch while the English players have more time on the bench and that’s why other nations are getting better than England and Serena is having a hard time selecting players and when the performance is poor they blame it on Serena,that’s why Spain is dominating in all age groups because all of the players are regularly playing on the pitch not on the bench

    • @JamesCM86
      @JamesCM86 22 дня назад +1

      Same with the mens to an extent. But not sure what the solution could be? best league in the world but English players can fall but he wayside. More English managers and players are needed in the top flights for England to remain competitive.

      @@RhondelishaParker The footballing nations of the world (which the USA is not one of) view Olympic football with little or no excitement! Europe for instance, has a full winter programme of football competition, both league, and knockout! With teams playing up to three games a week, summer football is viewed with disdain!

    we need to try Aggie bj as the 9. Russo always drops way too deep and will never be as clinical as people want/need her to be
