I’ve actually found having aim assist on makes it harder, especially when playing as a sniper. The game automatically drags towards the nearest target, so if I’ve got one guy 90 meters away, and someone runs in front of me at 50 meters, it then starts tracking the 50m dude.
I found that I had some controller drift, and the character would move without touching the controller. It was kinda annoying cause if you wanted to heal, reload, etc, it would be cancelled because you would move without even touching the controller. I would recommend changing the dead zone from 5% to around 10%
Yes. 10% is the best value I guess. I tried it with different controllers and only the Xbox Series controller was without drift at 5%. Even the Elite Controller had a slight drift at this value. Don‘t know about PS4 or PS5.
Does anyone know how to make the inventory stay on instead of disappearing after 3 seconds (the inventory in game which shows the primary, melee , grenade and etc) have been trying to figure it out but don’t know how to do it.

aim accelaration (in this game) actually just speeds up aiming the longer you hold it. other games it is how you described. nonlinearity settings inside the aim binding is what you described. however this setting is broken as it makes diagonal aiming very slow so its pretty much unusable

This game needz a serious developer tutorial blog on defining wtf all these controller optjons are. How the f do you lean, and keep it leaned so you can move without having to grow a third movement finger and still shoot and look??

Now trying to find how to still ADS but trigger lean and keep it, like click on or of.. have no idea wtf Aiming delta is tho. for auto lean strafe , on ps5 viea: r1-right stick aim is r stick aim delta??? leaniny l2+left stick and dpad l or r. still trying to configure lean odf

Crossplay is coneltely pointless on these games because people who use MnK will dominate controller players, I am a console player but prefer MnK so I really hope they enable MnK for this game and all FPS games like it
It peaks automatically, but I know it’s not always working well. To map lean and peak to specific buttons you would need a scuf controller with additional paddles. I haven‘t found a good solution for peaking yet.
@@TheCadWoman would be cool if could swipe on the ps5 touchpad/some kind of motion sensor movement, I saw there was an option to aim with motion sensor 😱

You can only lean manually if you have a scuf controller with pedals. I hope they will find a solution for this.

Sounds like your y-axis is inverted. Check the control settings for something likes.
