I remember listening to this when i was in middle school ☺️ it really made me fall even more in love with japanese culture. The song is really beautiful
This must the oldest comment that I have found on this "platform". At about the same time [2008] I first heard this wonderful Trio through their collaborative piece "Sea of Tranquility." It helped me through a challenging year in SE Alaska.
What amazes me about this is the fact that each of them is not only an amazing multi-instrmentalist, but also an amazing vocalist with superb compositional skills. Truly an amazing piece.
Oh man, I heard this song with my grandma when I was 6 years old and I tried to find and listen to this song again but couldn't. Finally my friend turned it on for me. I cried, cried because of surprise, and cried because I heard a song that has many memories with me.
This is one of the first videos i favourited on RUclips, I've loved Rin' ever since I first stumbled upon it. So glad they are reunited now, hope they will come to Sweden someday :)

東京芸大出身の3人娘グループのRin'は、古典楽器を使って現代曲を表現する前衛音楽奏者だった。和みを感じる音楽は、古典楽器を使っているからでもある。解散してしまったのが残念です。 Rin' of three daughter groups from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music was the vanguard music player who expressed modern music with a classic musical instrument. The music to feel relief is because I use the classic musical instrument. I am sorry that I have been dissolved.
I love Japanese music, because all the songs in my country (Vietnam) are about failed love and broken hearts. Why can't they make songs about nature/life and whatnot...*sigh*
I then remembered... How it felt to hear beauty out of this world... I found myself thinking of a garden... A lake... Some birds flying peacefully towards the horizon... And a large willow tree which shade seemed to be greeting the lake... My eyes never blinked, and my mind was away... far far away... It instantly became my favorite piece for a long time to come... Then I come on here to hear the original... And I feel yet again taken away... Just like the very first time :)...
this song is like the very first song I like out of my own volition and not influenced from my surroundings. it's like something is touching my inner spirit.

I've always liked Rin '. It makes you want to discover more! Rin' has never lost its roots, its ancestral traditions, his love of country. That's good! This can be seen in this great song! The group Rin' is very talented. Mixes with skill of traditional & modern sounds. Rin' has also always open to other countries. Congrats for this good tribute to Asia & Japan! "Sakura sakura" is sweetness, delicacy, grace, wisdom. Music is strong, mysterious.. Like cherry tree is! Big thought for Asia & Japan
I first heard this song about 10 or 13 years ago. It is as incredibly beautiful today as it was then. Just absolutely amazing talent and beautiful music. This is truly what music is.
