    I've got one 18.7 grams. Been wearing for a month and all the dings and scratches add so much more character. Doesn't shine like it used too, but love the rich yellow gold color.

    In Europe, 24K gold jewelry is very rare and unpopular, which is a pity because pure gold is the most beautiful!

      24k gold is to soft for jewelleries that's why is not so used.

      @@dready8894 It is used, I've seen many 24K gold pieces. Just not as commonly used. The ring in my Avatar is 24K, thats why its bent and cracked. Cause it's very soft but they still use it.

      24k gold is more valuable than the rest of gold. Even people say not popular, but when someone wants to buy it, 24k hold definitely is the highest choice than 18k gold. You can have jewelry from 24k, but it should be in high weight to cover up the softness of 24k

      @@dready8894 -- 24 karat gold can be work hardened so it's not dead soft, but it's still not as durable as an alloy.

    Usually in Gulf countries you will get pure 22 carat gold rings, this man created pure gold ring of 24 carat. Claps 👏

      @@FriarPop troy oz friar don't forget old troy! on his scales it would of shown as 31.10g not 30.91, missing .19g! all precious metals are troy oz. don't be selling your gold a few grams cheaper!

      24k is too soft to set a diamond unless you are bar or bezel setting it.......of the two, bezel setting is a better choice

    why no flux when soldering the gold together?

      the purpose of flux is to prevent oxidation from interrupting the solder flow. Pure gold doesn't oxidize so it wasn't necessary.

      @Conan Houlroyd looked like a high karat solder, but not 24k. this ring could have just been fused together without the need to solder but the jeweler either didn't have that level of skill, or, more likely, there was no other size of torch available. The torch hes using is way to big for that method.

      Because in India goldsmith use kdm for soldering gold . Sir please make a video of soldering gold without using kdm, can we join two gold without using kdm

      @@yasirshah5485 For high karat gold like 24, I will hammer a small piece of 24k into a very thin pillion and insert into the joint. Using a hot, nearly oxidizing flame, the gold will fuse together, thus eliminating the need for solder.

      @@JaviGoesOutdoors well I emailed him quoted a piece and he said 425 for labour to make a Cuban chain if I supply the gold or pay for gold price and tax so aud its 2250 Oz usd that's 1750 and Cuban takes longer than that ring so half the labour 225usd +825usd for the gold and tax so my guess would be this ring all in 1350usd 14g wedding band made by this guy
