Having only played MM1-6 through the Mega Man Legacy Collection, my favourite Robot Master is either Crash Man (love the design, fight didn't feel cheap to me, and his stage is one of the best around) or Magnet Man (This one mainly comes from his fight in Mega Man Battle Network 2, because it was extremely challenging but you can get into a rhythm and learn the way to beat him quite well, and his redesign makes him seem so menacing and HUGE!)
As soon as I saw the title of the video, I thought 'Splash woman's gonna be on the thumbnail' cuz Nate and Dookie like clickbait I was right I was completely right
Still hate it. Everything feels childish and too different. Also don’t forget the final boss, and it looses the e tanks. Also also the pause screen takes forever.
Love Megaman 8, I will never understand why anyone thinks its mediocre. Never had issues with the "jump jump, slide slide" moments. -Thought the overall look of the game was colorful and full of life. -Music is awesome. -Robot Masters are awesome (mostly) -Offered some new and interesting elements. -Megaman 2 is seriously overrated....okay not a good point but still... Seriously is bad voice acting is the only issue than that's just a poor argument.
No not the only issue it's just to cutesy. And MM games were usually dark and mature and got cartoony with each installment after mm3. I get that they tried something new with 8 and took advantage of the graphics card but they messed up royally. Because they tweaked, added, changed everything that made the classic mm games awesome and beloved essentially over doing it. The music was NOT epic nor memorable and often times sounded all over the place. Even MMx for snes music was more epic than PlayStation mm8. The voices took away from the idea of what our imagination had us to believe these robots would interact and come off to mega man. So change and adding stuff is not always necesssrily a good thing.even though having voices sounds like a cool idea, it would have sufficed and been better if they left the robot masters silent if they were gonna opt for doing these and be as bad as they made it be. Essentially recalling "if it ain't broke don't fix it" type of ideology. Yes the game is full of color and life but doesn't mean it would be better. Sometimes la little goes a long way. It's all about details not color splashes. It's another reason the game feels cartoony. The graphics are fine but things could have been sophisticated, simple and should have kept the classic games and what everyone loved about them in mind and if going to have full of color and graphics than take the time to do a detailed good job while thinking it through. Not just have cute things here and there and everywhere have a different tint of color on all objects and still life for the sake of making it colorful. Less is more! And over all the worst thing about mm8 and why it just won't be bestowed on any mm epic lists is... music music music ! Cringeworthy! And it's not that it's bad music cause it's fine for a different kind of game and I'm sure some will say what's wrong for it as a mega man game, well I'll tell you...you can't go from epic ness and raise the bar and then through a curve ball to fans and have it hit you in the balls! It's a slap in the face to what we expected and had high hopes for.
Matthew Carberry Music is good? The music on Megaman 8 threw away the frenetic and awesome music from the rest of Megaman games! The game seems to distract you whenever it wants, and the worst of it: Dr Wahwee! And why do people think Megaman 2 is the best when it has the most FRUSTRATING Wily bosses!? Metal Blades eclipse TOTALLY every other weapon, and bro, you'll SUFFER when you must use the Crash Bomber to kill one of the game's bosses and when you must bubble Wahwee to death. Comclusion: Megaman 8 was the KILLER of Megaman (and Megaman 9 revived the games) and Megaman 2 is FRUSTRATING

This deserves a sequel, now that we have Mega Man 11, and also since Mega Man & Bass technically counts as a main series game. It’s an alternate version of Mega Man 8 that has some sick Robot Masters like Pirate Man and Magic Man
I like Swordman's attitude. He treats the fight like a match between two worthy opponents. And, when you beat him, he says "well met" or something like that.
Sometimes I wonder why there aren't more fembot foes. I like splash woman, but I wonder why there isn't some robot masters like snow woman, plasma woman or sand woman. Maybe even Titanium Queen.
Unfortunately, the games themselves only had Splash Woman (and Roll). The comics, however, actually introduced two additional female robot masters- Tempo LaLinde, aka Quake Woman, and Vesper Woman.
I personally have a thing for video game characters who are obviously robots, so some of my favorite robot masters consist of cutman, napalm man, and drill man. They're just so cool with their ability to stand out amongst iceman and other robot masters who just look like regular dudes.
Top Spin is effective against Shadow Man because Mega Man spins with one leg stretched out, making it a roundhouse kick. And as the 80s and 90s has taught us, the roundhouse kick is the ninja's natural predator. Also, my favorite Robot Master is Skull Man. Why? Because he was made by Dr Cossack to be everything that he abhors. He is a man of science, not war. So he made this one combat robot into which he poured all of his loathing for fighting as the war machine that would end all war. All of his other Robot Masters were meant for something else. Even Ring Man, who was to be a police robot. But Skull Man? He was made for war by a man of peace. He has no other purpose than to fight. And that I like. He also looks cool as shit and has a neat power that'll save your ass many times throughout the game, but I digress.
I was expecting #1 to be Pharaoh Man. And it is the most correct choice ever. The only issue I have with the rest of the list is that 2 - 10 aren't all also Pharaoh Man.

Sheep Man was made, I think, from a very old Windows main screen toy "Sheep". You could spawn this "Sheep" on your main screen and play with it using your mouse...I guess that's what Sheep Man's origin is...
Laser trident. A weapon so cool it has to be mentioned many, many times over. Have to say your exploding drills rant is one of the most amusing things I've ever seen on RUclips.
Pharaoh Man is a fun ass fight. Perfect balance of making your constantly move, jump and dodge all around the screen while giving you fair opportunities to land your own shots. Easy to fuck up, but not insanely hard to pull off. Great choice
...Man, I was freaking out for a second there. Literally just a couple hours ago I was having a conversation with a friend about favorite Robot Masters and then this video's uploaded in which the first 3 were shared with the list I'd JUST made. Like, did Dookie have some crazy mind-link with me or something? Of course, most the rest of the choices differed from mine (No Galaxy, Skull, Freeze or Snake? C'mon, man!) but it's still a great list. And I'd say most people's top 2 would probably be Metal and Pharaoh for sure, just damn. Their powers and designs are just universally some of the coolest in the series.

Your story about Drill Man is the exact same story for me about Quick Man. The first MM I played, I thought I was gonna get to play as Quick Man, and it immediately became my favorite game.
I didn't realize it until you put the official artwork of Gravityman on screen, but when I took notice of the green nipple bulbs and the jagged shape of his torso it hit me......his upper body is precursor to Zero's Helmet and...chest.......design. The inclusion of red in his design being another clear indicator.

Christian Animations That's nice to hear, man! MM6 was my first as well. It was really enjoyable (I didn't beat it) and now I'm really glad I have MM1-5. The series overall is really fun and worth a try!
Both Tornado man, Slash man, and Elec man are cool as heck just like their weapons. Tornado blow can destroy any enemy on screen, Thunder beam can be shot in three directions, and Slash claw can easily slice through without problem.

Literally just a couple hours ago I was having a conversation with a friend about favorite Robot Masters and then this video's uploaded in which the first 3 were shared with the list I'd JUST made. Like, did Dookie have some crazy mind-link with me or something? Of course, most the rest of the choices differed from mine (No Galaxy, Skull, Freeze or Snake? C'mon, man!) but it's still a great list. And I'd say most people's top 2 would probably be Metal and Pharaoh for sure, just damn. Their powers and designs are just universally some of the coolest in the series.

did you know Sheep Man was designed for an electrical company this is why doesn't look very scarier like some kind of boss he's literally isn't supposed to be I hope that gives some people more respect for him I hear alot of people give him crap because " why would Wily make a sheep boss? doesn't even look like a evil robot" it's because he's not haha

Your story about Drill Man is the exact same story for me about Quick Man. The first MM I played, I thought I was gonna get to play as Quick Man, and it immediately became my favorite game.

I didn't realize it until you put the official artwork of Gravityman on screen, but when I took notice of the green nipple bulbs and the jagged shape of his torso it hit me......his upper body is precursor to Zero's Helmet and...chest.......design. The inclusion of red in his design being another clear indicator.

Both Tornado man, Slash man, and Elec man are cool as heck just like their weapons. Tornado blow can destroy any enemy on screen, Thunder beam can be shot in three directions, and Slash claw can easily slice through without problem.
