    I always thought that Dr. Wily won the war actually. I mean, think about it, who was alive in the end of it all? Zero. Who made Zero? Wily. What did Dr. Wily ultimately want? To have the satisfaction of knowing that he made the ultimate robot and prove that he was better than Dr. Light. In the end, Dr. Wily won.

    • @bezoticallyyours83
      @bezoticallyyours83 9 лет назад +8

      damn. but zero did turn against wily's original intentions too

    • @SapphireLibra3
      @SapphireLibra3 9 лет назад +62

      bezoticallyyours83 That he did, but Wily's original beef with Dr. Light was that Light got all the credit. What Wily truly wanted was the satisfaction that he was the better robot designer, and even though Zero went against his creator's intentions, think about it. X was DESIGNED to have free will. Zero wasn't, yet when the virus was removed from him, Zero had free will too. Dr. Wily made a robot with the ability to think BY ACCIDENT. Zero was even capable of rebelling against his creator and working for the side of good. Dr. Wily made Zero too well, even for him.
      Once again, like I said, SURPRISINGLY by that logic, Dr. Wily won in the end.

      Sapphire Libra3 except, Wily didn't win like that because Zero was a straight up advancement of Bass. Technically, Zero lost because X helped Zero. I mean, who else helped get zero back to the good side after being rebuilt?
      Megaman, Whether it's X or the original, He always wins.

    • @OdaKa
      @OdaKa 9 лет назад +9

      +Sapphire Libra3 but then again, who survived even past the lifetime of Zero? The robots that were built from copying X's design. Reploids, based on Dr. Light's masterpiece, outlived Zero.

    • @andrewcrawford8922
      @andrewcrawford8922 8 лет назад +25

      It was a draw though. Because while Wily was obsessed about creating the ultimate physical robot frame, Dr. Light's concern was to successfully pass on his code of ethics to a synthetic being with free will. Both of their dreams eventually become true, combined in the entity known as Zero. The whole story about Megaman is how ultimately the only way Dr. Light and Wily could find to work together was as bitter rivals.

    Here's a theory of my own.
    In X6, if you beat the game as Zero he'll go into stasis, presumably setting up the story for Megaman Zero.
    If you beat the game as X 'without' finding Zero, Zero will pop up at the very end and mention that the world no longer needs him because X is around, and that there's one more thing Zero needs to do, implying that he would go into stasis. So again, setting up the story for Megaman Zero.
    HOWEVER
    If you save Zero and beat the game as X, you get a different ending, which I call the "X and Zero" ending. In this ending, Zero seems to have no desire to go into stasis whatsoever, and it seems like the two will be working together to fight mavericks like the old days. 'This' ending seems like it sets up Megaan X7 more than it does Megaman Zero.
    My theory is that X6 splits the X story into two timelines. The Megaman Zero timeline that leads into ZX, and the Megaman X7 and X8 timeline that leads into Megaman X Command Mission.

    • @MrAnimefan20
      @MrAnimefan20 9 лет назад +20

      That's a solid theory that could very well be true. I have a few reservations about it, though.
      I wonder if that is intentional or if it was another flaw in X6's messy story. Keep in mind that I haven't played X6 so I don't have a ton of information to work with. Regardless, art is up to interpretation, so whether or not that was the intention this is certainly a valid reading.
      This would also work as a sort of compromise between Inafune's vision for the series and Capcom's love of money. Inafune wanted the X series to end at X5 and transition into the Zero series, but Capcom made X6 without his knowledge or permission, forcing him to rewrite some of Zero. By splitting the timeline, Infafune could continue with his Zero series while Capcom continues to run the X franchise into the ground.

      berserkchip ZX is the far future of Zero. I'm sorry, but, the seperate timeline theory is flawed ESPECIALLY when this character -> megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Prairie is Alouette from Zero (which ZX heavily implies).

    • @berserkchip
      @berserkchip 9 лет назад +7

      What does Alouette/Prairie have to do with X6's good ending, X7, X8, and X Command Mission? I'm not seeing any flaws.

      berserkchip actually I read somewhere that the stasis scene takes place in an unknown time. Prehaps after many other games.This would give capcom the oportunity to create more MMX games and still respect the timeline.Well that holded up until the redsign in MMX8.
      Also Zero's ending in MMX7 links MMX7 with the MMZ series.

    So X is kind of like Jesus or God or something to the reploids if you think about it. They were all sort of made in his image or design. Just something to think about. Imagine being the blueprint design for humanity.

      @gbdornls 8 лет назад +28

      Isabella Regaldo And i find it funny how, even though they all have been made in his image, they aren't exactly perfectly like him, since cain didn't knew how to replicate x systems exactly, and even though x gets called a ancient old piece of shit, he still is the most advanced of them, and is hte most human of them all

    • @CamperN00b47
      @CamperN00b47 6 лет назад +13

      Gabriel D This might as well actually be another theory that i always thought it was: Technology over the 100-year span didn't decrease or just stood to a halt like Dookie suggested, it's probably just because Light made X to be so technologically advanced, so much that it is *LITERALLY* (yes, *LITERALLY* ) a quantum leap even for the future 100 years later (and i believe possibly even later), exactly how Dr. Cain described it in his journal. I'm pretty sure his rather human-like personality is largely contributed by the fact that he was subject to 30 years of moral tests & diagnostics, something that all the Reploids lack; but also, in my opinion, it's a possible sign that deep in his subconscious, he actually (unknowingly) fears of his 'limitless potential', of what he can do.

    *Clap clap*
    This is a WAY better theory than GameTheory's "lol Megaman is the villain!!1111one" that quotes the Americanized English version of Megaman 7's ending as canon.
    As a lifelong megaman fan, I always loved to see if I could find connections between the Classic and X series.
    I had thought of the strong possibility that the Roboenza virus was the beta of what would become the Zero Virus [and by extension Maverick Virus and Sigma Virus] of the X series.
    But holy crap, somehow, I never stopped to consider that the evil energy from Megaman 8 may have been the original source. Great idea that makes total sense.
    I have a theory of my own, which I'm going to put in a separate post so others can easily view it.

  • @YoungTheFish
    @YoungTheFish 10 лет назад +5

    The MegaMan series are ultimately about the doctors: from Light and Willy, to Kane, and Ciel. It represents Japan's fear of rapid advancement in technology, when Japan becomes the industry power in the post-war era. It is why I love this series so much.
    .

  • @NowOnAFM
    @NowOnAFM 9 лет назад +12

    If Dr. Light found a way to stream his consciousness in the form of those upgrade capsules in the X series, then Wily might've used a similar method to keep his spirit alive as well. I'd like to think that Wily might've stole the idea of AI consciousness preservation from Light, just like how he did with the first robot masters.

  • @Pcuspy
    @Pcuspy 8 лет назад +5

    Dr. Light and Ciel have a lot of similarities to each other.
    Both create machinery to help people (Robot Masters and Biometal)
    Both worked with somebody who would become a main villain in the future (Wily and Copy X, Elpizo, AND Serpent{Seriously Ciel, get a grip!})
    Both become mentor figures to the next generation (Light mentored X, Ciel through data chips mentored Vent/Aile)
    And both were direct results of several conflicts (Light was responsible for the Classic and X series, while Ciel is responsible for the Zero and ZX series.)
    Who cares about Legends? That's so far after ZX.

Inafune just needed a few games to make it happen; transition to Zero as the "hero" was supposed to happen at the end of X5, but when Inafune transitioned to the GBA Zero series: CAPCOM put X on life-support without his input.

    Oh yeah, not to count that Shadow Devil actually transforms itself into Wily's machine from Megaman 6! If it wasn't proof enough that Dr. Wily IS the partner Sigma found, note that on the screen of the Shadow Devil fight another W appears, only more distorted.

    • @devro312

      the reason why the w appears and is distorted is because the original devil (idk his full name) was built by wily and then got turned into the shadow devil also the reason why its able to turn into the wily machine from megaman 6 is because he was built by wily

    Now, you forgot about something. There's yet another one who might be one of Wily's body, and it is Isoc, from MMX6. • @SatoshiMatrix1
    @SatoshiMatrix1 10 лет назад +85

    Here's a theory of my own:
    I do not believe that Serges was actually Dr. Wily. Serges was too minor of a character for Capcom to have wasted such a mindblowing concept on, and then not find a way to bring back for future games.
    The idea that with Serges destroyed, so too was Wily just doesn't sit well with me. If there's anything about Wily that the Classic series teaches, it's that Wily is always two steps ahead with a backup plan.
    Let's assume that there is a connection between Dr. Wily and Serges. I mean after all, Serges _does _look sort of like Wily and when you fight him he uses screen filling attack vehicles rather than fight on his own just like Dr. Wily would, and then there's what he says in the Japanese version upon his final defeat.
    Rather than simply conclude that Serges is Wily, I think it's more probable that Serges was instead a creation of Dr. Wily, and programmed to _think_ that he is actually Dr. Wily. Comparative to how difficult/near impossible the task of Wily transporting his brain into a robot (especially by himself!) consider that Wily could have easily built a robot who only believes that it is Wily, and programmed with [at least some] of Wily's knowledge.
    This would give Wily a decoy that could attract unwanted attention away from him and upon its destruction, he would be free to move in the shadows and operate completely undetected by anyone.
    In X2 and if I recall other X games, Sigma makes reference to meeting an old man. This may very well be Dr. Wily in the flesh, kept alive through some artificial means for at least the early games in the X series.
    This theory that Wily is still alive and Serges was just a decoy would also explain much of Isoc's behavior in X6, and how he knew certain details that he really shouldn't, such as that Zero is a robot and not a Reploid. Isoc too may be another Wily robot who thinks or at least has knowledge that Wily does, or perhaps Isoc met and learned from Wily.
    But hey, it's just a theory.

      The Archie Comics Sonic/Megaman crossovers are also approved by Capcom. Does that mean those are also canon and Megaman hangs out with Sonic the hedgehog when not fighting Dr. Wily?
      Think before you post. The manga is obviously non-canon and therefore is irreverent. This is nothing exclusive to Megaman either. In any visual media lore, only what is in on screen can count towards what is canon. Novels, manga, etc are fanfiction and should be regarded as such, unless they're written by writers who were directly involved in creating the original story to begin with.

      Rebuttal: "Robotic Memento of Light" does not make any sense without context. It could be that Serges believes that "goodness" is gone from the world and X is all that remains of it. But it more likely is that the translator or even Dookie himself simply changed the name to the English one.

    Oh and please please please stop fanboying over Zero. Zero is one of the greatest heroes for sure but the GREATEST of the ENTIRE series? NO. Mega Man was the hero of classic, X, Zero and Axl were the heroes of the X series with X being the main hero, Zero was a hero in his own series. X fought for hundreds of years WITHOUT Zero, HUNDREDS. Even after Zero went back to sleep after the Elf Wars, X was STILL fighting for hundreds of years. Then X lived on to guide Zero throughout the Zero series similar to how Zero guided and helped X in X1-X3. X got tired of fighting and passed the mantle and responsibility of the world onto Zero. Honestly the amount of discredit you and most people give X is insane. To say that Zero is the greatest hero in the ENTIRE series is pure fanboyism. Please get his saber out of your ass.

    Pertaining to the Legends series, a theory I've heard says that the "Elder System" mentioned in Legends 2, which was the system that preceded the Master System, was actually the Maverick Hunters, or perhaps that the Elder System was the existence of Reploids in general. Supposedly, the Humans eventually decided that since the Maverick Virus could potentially infect any Reploid that came in contact with it, Reploids were simply too dangerous to be allowed to continue. So the Humans fled to the artificial moon Elysium and, through some sort of technology, flooded the Earth in an attempt to kill off all the Reploids. The remaining landmasses on the planet were then populated with Carbons, artificially engineered humans created by the "real" humans of the Master System. The ruins and reaverbots that populate them are remnants of the Elder System.
    Interestingly, the end of Legends 2 mentions that the Elder System is reawakening now that the Master System has shut down. Perhaps if Legends 3 had seen fruition, we would've seen Reploids awakening from years of slumber underwater and in ruins.

    About Zero being almost like the hero of the X series, if i remember correctly, I think Inafune was actually planning to make Zero the main character of the X series, but decided to go for X because it would alienate fans. Zero being the main character was mostly noticeable in X4, anyways.
    Also, might be a bit farfetched to think that Wily existed in the X timeline as a cyber-elf? It might be the case for Light too, due to how updated was the info he had in the capsule recordings (most noticeable in X5 with Zero)

    It's amazing to think that shadow-y evil robot we see in the intro to Megaman 8 played such a major role in the course of history for the main series timeline. He wasn't even alive after the intro to 8, and yet posthumously, he's responsible for Dr. Wily creating the maverick virus, and by extension, responsible for the horrible events that occurred in the X series, Zero series, and maybe even the ZX series.

    Also, if you look at how X gains his Body Armor power ups, he downloads them from Light's capsules and when they're installed they appear on him as if X had nanobots inside his body that respond to programming which would explain the Auto repair systems talked about in X1. In Megaman X5,6 and 7 you can see that Lights Capsules no longer download and install the Data onto X like they did from X1-4, instead he gives chips to X or Zero so that Douglas can install them onto X later so he can form the Falcon and GAEA Armors. My theory is that X and Zero have nanobots inside their bodies which respond to programming and that is why they are so different from all the Reploids which are the imperfect clones of X. If you look at it this way then it makes sense when Zero miraculously recovered from X5 in X6 like if he was new, his programming was just exposed to all the Virus activity around the atmosphere which boosted his Auto repair recovery from so much severe damage. Then if you jump hundreds of years into the future to the Megaman Zero series you see that the way they got rid of the Virus in the atmosphere was with Cyber-elves and the reason why there was still Mavericks around was because of the new generation reploids ability to go Maverick at will which only X, Zero and AXL had knowledge of.

  • @Lizarius
    @Lizarius 8 лет назад +4

    So I'm pretty certain I'm late to the party on this one but I'd love to know more concerning this if more exists. But here's a thought I had
    So X was created to be super awesome hero man, put to sleep for 100 years to make sure that happened, and it worked out until he had to go to sleep to hold down dark elf. After that, Ciel made a replica of him and shit went south immediately. So let's pretend Ciel is REALLY damn good at her job and made a perfect copy in every way. In theory, things go as well as they did when X first woke up right? One would think, but she skipped a step. Maybe Copy X is what would've happened in the X series if X had not had the 100 years sleep. Thoughts/feedback/evidence for or against?

    • @Deamons64
      @Deamons64 8 лет назад

      Lizarius It's possible, but Dr. Light kept X hidden, running tests for what was planned to be a minimum of 30 years, to ensure that X would make the right decisions. However, shit ended up getting buried, and X ended up being hidden for about 100 years.
      While it's possible that the copy X was what would happen without the tests, it's probably more likely that the copy X was only identical in body. It's mind was different, and probably weaker than the original, leading to the copy's corruption.

    Here's my theory: Phoenix Wright either built or is related to the creator of Mega Man because, not only are they both Capcom IPs, but Dr. Lights' original Japanese name is Dr. Wright. So Phoenix probably lost a pretty big trial and so he stopped being a lawyer, changed his name to Thomas, and decided to work in robotics with Dr. Albert Wily where they built Proto Man, Rock, Roll and the 6 robot masters and then he was betrayed by Wily and turned Rock into Mega Man. Either that, or it's his son or Grandson named Thomas...

    The war between Light and Wily is not over yet. While both have died during the X series, but both are somehow still alive. thekillersnake94 What do Bomb/Fire/Guts/Ice construct, exactly? I think 'construction' is a bit too specific. Bomb/Guts seem like demolition guys, which while not specifically construction, is often a prerequisite to it to clear space for newer safer buildings. Much like harvesting lumber isn't construction either, but a prerequisite. Fireman could help people survive in the arctic, while Iceman could help people survive in the tropics. More broadly, pretty much any Robot Master (even the later kinds) could all easily find ways to use their abiltiies for public service.

    THAT'S AWESOME! And the reason that X was hidden, to be found by an archaeologist, requires no devastation - just that Light builds a second lab in secret. And the series does become about Zero, because the original Megaman is not what Inafune wanted Megaman to be. Zero is really his original idea for the series before Capcom watered it down for the original 8-bit megaman. Later, he was able to bring the idea to fruition with Zero in MMX. This theory is underwhelming but requires no cataclysm and ties everything together...

    The phrase 'Zero Virus' is used in this video I think to refer to the virus contained within Zero (which became known as the Maverick Virus, and later the Sigma Virus) but isn't the phrase also used to describe the merger of the Maverick/Sigma virus with the Colony Virus from Eurasia in X5?

    • @7thScale
      @7thScale 10 лет назад +2

      I believe it's the same thing. In X5 the Zero virus looks just like Zero.
      I always thought (I think I read it somewhere too) that the Sigma virus was the diluted Zero virus and the Colony virus was carefully constructed to contain just what it was missing (only Wily would know how to do that).
      Merged, they would become the Zero virus.

    • @Knightsoftheblade
      @Knightsoftheblade 10 лет назад

      7thScale i think the mavrick virus is the first one, then gets altered though contact with sigma, then the sigma virus gets already by coming into contact with zero and the mavrick virus he has, making the stronger zero virus.

    • @7thScale
      @7thScale 10 лет назад +2

      Knightsoftheblade The original Mavericks (before Sigma became one) were simply rogue Reploids and Mechaniloids with programming errors that originated from Cain not understanding X's mind and badly copying it. There was no virus before Zero appeared. Then the Zero virus merged with Sigma's programming to become the Sigma virus.
      The Sigma virus therefore became the conscience of Sigma. The Maverick virus is the Sigma virus in an infected Reploid/Mechaniloid (also a Maverick).
      So the term "Maverick" is actually used to describe any robot that rebels against mankind, be it because of bad programming or the actual Maverick (Sigma) virus.

    • @Knightsoftheblade
      @Knightsoftheblade 10 лет назад +1

      agreed, but thats why it was called mavrick virus first, cause it caused them to go mavrick. the zero virus was blamed for alot more then the sigma virus, the zero virus would aicd rain and cyber pockets, not what the sigma and mavrick virus do. And if i am correct in this, the virus, was stored in zero capsule and infected zero, though he wa built to grow stonger from it dosent mean it started with him.

    About that last part, "Dr Wily greatest creation becoming greatest hero", from what I remember is kinda like only half of the story as technically Zero is both hero and villain at the same time:
    - Original body of Zero (later upgraded by X-Hunters) was stolen and turned by Weil into Omega - the one who would destroy the world
    - Original "brain" of Zero (aka Control Chip, like in X2) was put into new vessel, discovered by Ciel, and that is the Zero we play as - the one who saves the world
    So basically, Wily plan was still working, perfect body of Zero would win the war, but apparently he didn't knew that he programmed so good AI that it surpassed the body (and stopped it).
    Oh BTW, with that Serges line, wasn't he also referring to X as "Megaman"? Everybody calls him just X as they don't know his origins of being "next Megaman" while by saying "Megaman" it suggests that he knows his origins as Light's creation and original Megaman successor. (Japanese version only)

      Oh my gooood another one. Who cares? It had more content (in both variety AND time) than last years Mega Man Month so I'm not complaining. About 130 minutes (over 2 hours) of Mega Man content for one month. That's a respectable amount of content for one person.

    • @Melkac
      @Melkac 10 лет назад +1

      WhiteVII Unless you don't care about the power challenge, then it's...about 11 minutes.

    • @cling1233
      @cling1233 10 лет назад

      WhiteVII You aren't thinking about how 119 of those minutes included one playthrough of one megaman game. It was basically just a rushed lets play and one real video.

    • @whitevii1533
      @whitevii1533 10 лет назад

      ***** I did consider that - and that is a fair point. 68% of last years Mega Man March Madness content was a Megaman X walkthrough. If you didn't like that you were left with 36 minutes of content.
      The Power Challenge makes up 89% of this month but you're still left with 15 minutes of content. That's the difference of 1 or 2 videos at best. The reason the percentage is so high is just because he was doing a challenge LP and not a regular play-through which would have taken half the time, probably.
      And I mean, if you didn't like the Power Challenge then I doubt the walkthrough was up your alley, either. If so you have really obscure tastes. I enjoy anything Megaman and I enjoy dookie so I wasn't disappointed. In fact this year had me coming back more because I actually looked forward to seeing the next power challenge video.
      I mean, it wasn't perfect. Sure, it could've used a Top Ten to really set it a cut above last year but I really don't think the difference is big enough to warrant the amount of hate he's been getting.

    kind of missed the time between the last megaman game and the first X game. theory there is Zero did awaken before X and still during Megaman's time. Dr. Light seals X while Mega Man, Protoman and the upgraded Eddie (the green fat robot from megaman 7 turning into the green bot from Megaman X forest stage), fight Zero and only Eddie manages to beat Zero back who goes back to be repaired but He also ends up killing Dr. Wily once he is repaired but Bass sacrifices himself to seal Zero back up.
    this theory shows what happened to the entire cast of the original Megaman show. The webcomic Bob and George used to have these awesome animations showing these events as the might have unfolded. Zero kills pretty much everyone. Dr. Light, Roll, Megaman, Protoman, Bass, Dr. Wily. its only Eddie that beats him which is why the fight between him and X in the forest stage of X1 is such a important moment showing how powerful X truly is.

    I LIKE this theory. What if Wily wasn't the only AI? What if Light did the same; those pods X found everywhere...kinda seemed convienient they'd have the required parts he'd need. Imagine if, near the end of X1, you didn't get the Buster upgrade, but got boots from an armour type from 5 games down the series? I think the pods customize themselves because Light's AI is watching what is going on in the world, and deciding what parts to put out when X approaches.

    Good theory, but I think dr. Light too is alive as an A.I. Reasons? The upgrade capsules. In each games in the x-serie, X gets 1 or more armor through capsules and dr. Light knows what is going on in the game. In X3 Zero gets an armor from a capsule and in X5 he knows about Alie, also you see him as a hologram in X´s ending.

    Something else to add, Zero was intended to be the protagonist in the X series but were afraid of such drastic change in design, so they made him a secondary character, so you saying "Zero ended up being the series greatest hero" kinda makes me laugh because that's how Inafune actually wanted.

    @TallFry2 10 лет назад +2

    Wow, this theory is exactly like my theory only with a few details I hadn't thought of (that of Serges) explained as well.
    Now think about this. Starting in Mega Man Zero 3, you meet a man by the name of Weil. Weil has created the "Ultimate Reploid" in Omega. Near the end of the game (spoiler alert) Weil admits that he is, and I quote, "a bona fide human". And then in the final stage of the battle with Omega, you discover that the one you've been fighting is Zero's original body. The body he was originally built with, albiet refitted to be more streamlined. And Omega, at the time, was a total freaking psychopath (much like in Zero's initial fight against Sigma). Also, fun fact, Zero is often called "Zero Omega". So think about that.
    Weil also states that his body can't be truly destroyed, nor can his mind, as of Zero 4 after the attempt on his life. However, Zero eventually defeats him.
    And then we jump another hundred years into the future, to Mega Man ZX. More precisely, ZX Advent. The mission is to stop the spread of Model W. Your opponent, at the beginning of the game, is uncertain. But then it's revealed to be one of the ruling party, the Sage Trinity. The most human-like immortal among them, Master Albert. Does that name sound familiar by any chance? And it's later revealed that Albert is even able to literally switch bodies.
    Wily not only succeeded in making the war last hundreds of years, even if his masterpiece was on his side for such a long time, but... He eventually worked his way back up and became the absolute ruler of modern society (he took over the world) not just once, but TWICE!

      Couldn't be. Star force is part of the BN timeline. Plus it would take place 200 years after Megaman's creation if it was the same timeline.

    • @Galavantworks
      @Galavantworks 10 лет назад +3

      Ichigopinkpearl101 Actually this could be an interesting theory.
      In both the Battle Network and Starforce series there exist a force that acts very similar to that of the Maverick Virus. Nebula Grey's dark soul, and Noise//Crimson clusters. In Starforce 3 Black Ace and Red Joker. Noise was developed as a side of effect of all the cumulative EM waves, Matter Waves technology and data that was developed in Star Force 3. Such an overdose of raw data is harmful and even corrupt EM wave beings. The notable places in space at the time which was collecting all manner of Noise and Crimson was the Noise Meteor Server, Meteor Grave, and the other one, the Black Hole server which was handled by Sirius.
      Another interesting aspect of noise is that cumulative energies of Noise can even create and exist within pocket dimensions called Noise waves. These Noise Waves has various unseen gateway's in the real world and can connect to other various places over space and even perhaps time.
      Now let's say if this principal acts as a sort of universal law similar to that of anti-matter, since it can transcend and can exist in its own dimensional space. Considering that BN timeline is a direct parallel of Classic in which a pivotal moment in time created two completely different realities. One can say the events of these two are almost parallel to each other.
      Now let's say Mega Man Classic and Mega Man BN is respectively universe
      A and B.
      Noise clusters, and crimson which is a solid form of noise can exist in pocket dimensions known as Noise waves. Much akin to wormholes traveling through some Noise Waves can greatly cover billions of light years in space. If it's a pocket dimension that doesn't adhere to the spatial and temporal dimensions of Universe B, then what happens if noise waves can find it's way to Universe A?
      If Crimson as a solid form of noise can corrupt sentient A.I made up of EM and Matter Waves, think of what it can do to robotic A.I's?
      What if the evil energy source found in space is a result of Noise that was created from earth in the Star Force era which made it's way into Universe A due to noise waves? If that's the case, Star Force's EM wave technology could potentially be to blame for the resulting Maverick epidemic in X.

    It's not far fetched that Zero was destined to be the true hero of the Mega Max X series considering Kenji Infaune wanted Zero to be Mega Man X. His original name is "Mega Man Zero" after all. But Capcom felt that he wouldn't make a popular protagonist because if they call the game "Mega Man X", people will expect to see Mega Man. Hence why X is the main protagonist in the series.
    Though going by your theory, it would make sense that Zero would end up being greater than X considering Infaune favors the former over the latter.
    There is one question that remains however that this video never addressed: What is the connection between Zero and Proto Man?
