It was around 1030 am. It was crunchy up on the ridge in the first spots but dropping off West Baldy was really quite nice. The camera makes it sound a little crunchy on the descent but it skied real nice. It would have skied even nicer about 30-60 mins later than we did it but then the boot up would have been even more painful. I really enjoyed the ski. All thanks to your north face videos for inspiration!
@@chadsadventurechannel5477 thanks! you definitely brought back some memories for me -- esp when you reached the bottom and looked back up at how far you have to go to get back to the summit :)
@@AndyLewicky it skied a bit better than it sounds, esp on the warmer aspect, yet by the end of the climb any idea of a second lap was long gone! that bootpack got the best of us!
Unreal! Incredible that stuff like this is accessible from LA even late season
So it was your tracks I saw up there the next day!! Awesome run.
Snow softened up nicely in that middle section! I had no idea there was that much green back there!
Hell yeah and go team Scarpa too.
So cool. Looks like a lot of work.

Baldy rips when its got snow. I mean a lot of snow but baldy's got some terrain that will turn you into human pate' if your not careful.😂😂
Cool adventure but these 360° camera vids are hard to watch.
