    Shea's ROCKing the new hair style! It's really cute and it will grow pretty fast. Then she can try something else new. lol
    Wow, Bryce, great idea for cooling things down. You're in the perfect climate for a swamp cooler and you made your very own. I like all the innovation you all exhibit. Love the rock sink!
    I agree, Shelly, the light pain around the bottles didn't look quite right. But the river rock around the mirror was an awesome idea.

    • @StoneKathryn
      @StoneKathryn 3 года назад +2

      @@mbowman4436 Mosquitoes I thought are attracted by carbon dioxide that we exhale. That is why a fire confuses them because it gives off carbon dioxide as the wood burns. Maybe some light does attract them. You could be right. I'm not sure how many mosquitoes live in Arizona where there isn't much water.

    I love the wet look of the stone pedestals, maybe you could use a polyurethane stone sealer on them and around the river bottle area, to keep the wet but natural look. I'm so glad you were able to remove the other paint, it just didn't work with the design at all. As always, great video. 👍 Shea, you are just as lovely with a shaved head as with long hair. It will be unmanageabley long before you know it. 🥰

    • @StoneKathryn
      @StoneKathryn 3 года назад +1

      I really like the "wet" look you're suggesting for around the river area for the blue bottles and the river rock. I think that would look awesome and protect everything from getting grimy! Shelly wanted it to look like a river and having that "wet" look would certainly give it that impression. Thanks for suggesting that.

    Bout 4 years ago we went to Vegas for a week at the end of May, beginning of June. We went with friends, and the husband kept telling me "it's dry heat"!!!! 105 is 105! We live in Indiana and have humidity to contend with. We want to get a bus, and drive around the country but we will hit the southwest in the winter months. LOL!
    Shae can pull off a short hair cut!!! So, how hot is hot??? And I love the rock sink and red handles! Is the sink deep. I love it!!

    • @StoneKathryn
      @StoneKathryn 3 года назад

      It has been up to 120 degrees in Arizona for the last little while! A super heat wave in June usually. Then the monsoons usually come but they have had a bad drought for quite a while so they are hoping for a great bit of rain. We went to Arizona two years ago in March and it was in the high 70s and we loved it. Very low humidity! We saw the Grand Canyon!

So Shelly wants a tortoise, Shelly, turtle I guess it all goes together. If you want to make guests feel more comfortable you can remove those cold water handles and paint them a lovely cool water blue. Keeping inline with the industrial vibe I am sure that you can come up with an interesting shower head. Thanks again for sharing and Happy Fathers Day and for all the women and kids that made that a thing!

    Oh, that shower is looking beautiful, and the sink is so cute. And good thinking on the improvised air cooling system. If you guys ever want to explore more of cheap ways to cool down, I'd be super interested to see what you'd do with windcatchers (old African/Asian design), because they seem really nifty, and like the kind of thing that might be interesting to you. Basically, it just utilizes the simple fact that heat rises to create air circulation and natural cooling. You know, if you're ever looking for another big project of some sort... 😉

The rock sink is really unique and I would like to suggest a rock sealant as thinking ahead that would help to keep the sink clean and stain free from every day use especially using tooth paste which could cause staining and maybe even cause some damage to the rock. from having rock water features, I can say that the sealant may even bring out more color and beauty in the rock... maybe consider it? the sealnt may also prevent water form absorbing into the rock......
