One of my best friends growing up was measured on the inside of a closet door. When they had to sell their parents home when they went into retirement care they took the door off and replaced it with a new one. That door has been moved to two different countries, 5 different states and so close now to coming back home to Canada (when she and her husband retire in a few short years). Every time family get together they measure ALL the family! This now includes the great grandchildren! Here's a pun for next week: That's another one in the bag! lol Azalea needs a tool pouch!!
I love the new intro! Didn't realize G&E's baby is due so soon. It's good they got the bedroom all finished in time. I'm interested to see how those short sandbags will look after the stucco goes on.
Gary is an amazing father and shelly is one amazing mother. I love your guys attitude and respect in everything that you all do specially Bree and Bryson. You can tell you were raised with alot of love and respect! Keep them coming! Truely love yalls show!!!
I see that Gary was in the swing of things. It looked great.I like the new sand bags. Garen the barn doors look like a western show piece. A Fabulous job.
I miss Shae. Is she just busy working? I think the last time I saw her was Christmas. I love the earth bag walls and the barn doors!! Everything is coming together beautifully!!
I think they covered it in one of their podcasts or something but they mentioned that she was working on her own projects (if I remember right she was working on writing a book) and wasn't going to be in many videos moving forward.
Yes it was one of their talk shows. They said she has her wings and is working on town, sewing and painting! I wonder how far town is from the homesteads.
G & E:Congrats in getting your room done before the next baby! I love the hats hung on each side of the bed and the child size ruler is great. Those closet doors are awesome! Bree & Co: I'm glad you found you could use sand bags from the hardware store! The wall is looking good! Love the swing on the eave of the kitchen " bump out".
Wonderful as always. We were gifted about 5,000 polyurethane grass seed bags because they were mis printed. We have been faithful Friday night weekly peek followers for years now. When we saw that you are using bags this episode we got excited for you knowing how well they work. You can turn them inside out to dog ear the corners for a rounder edge. Our projects include a garden wall and underground celler. Thank you for your love and energy. From our secluded homestead to yours.
Love the height ruler that Garen & Ellie made. I enjoy watching all the build & progress being made. Something you might want to consider is making a folder on your computer to catalog all the children's Birthday's, Graduations, possibly Weddings, & Christmas Celebrations. Then when they are 20 yrs old transfer each child's special moments on a disc so the can see how they have grown up through the years. This would make a cherished gift for grandparents & parents.
My dad put up a swing like yours. On windy days the swing would bang against the house so he put a little hook on the house wall so he could tie it back when not in use.
Great idea. My ranch is on a gusty ridge, so hanging chairs in the trees will get beaten to death if left hanging free, and I've seen my hammock spin like a paddle wheel in a good gust without a side tether. The oak trees themselves have scraped out areas around them that look like they were built with deliberate effort; it took a while to realize it's the branches scraping it out as the whole tree moves distances you'd never guess just looking at it on a still day.
I've heard your baby say so many words !! Practice words with her every chance you get !! If you think you heard a word, grab it and practice with her !! Something my Mother in Law taught me !!
Your comment at the end of the video from subscribers " are you going to build a gym" reminds me of when I lived on a mates farm in Bakers Hill Western Australia, back in 1981 Between carting Green bales of hay (stacking 2 car trailers at a time to a height of 8 foot high that's about how high we could chuck them) Then unloading them in the hay shed about 800 a day between 3 of us Then catching year old sheep and loading them into a mulesing cradle for a Muleser usually about 1200 sheep a day, Various fencing jobs on the farm, carting rocks, shearing roustabout Cutting fire wood, Working on the various machinery and so on I had never been so fit in all my life I was about 21 at the time All of that physical work basically wore my body out But when I went down to Perth and caught up with friends and family and they where paying exorbitant amounts for gym membership, I invited them up for a week to experience farm life... None of them took me up on the offer. Nowadays "Work fascinates me, I can SIT and watch it for hours!" as I was serious I did wear out my body. Thank you as always I have been watching you for years and I have so much respect for how you live and love each other I just wish we could bottle your type of magic the world would be a better place. Tony from Western Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Y'all, I have never such an inventive family in entire time I have been watching RUclips. Bree I love the fact you have let your hair down. Your hair is beautiful. I have raised 2 boys and 1 girl and have a greater understanding thanks to my kids.
What a nostalgic intro! I loved the addition of old clips transitioning into the current project. It really brought me back to how I felt watching your family 1-2 years ago as compared to now. Since discovering your channel, you guys have been an inspiration for me to cultivate creativity within my family’s day to day life. Seeing your past projects gave me the perspective (that I didn’t know I wanted) to appreciate the creative time I’ve spent with my family over the last couple of years. And I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart! :)
You know it has been a wonderful journey with you guys watching you kids grow up. You are so fortunate to have such adventurous parents to allow you all to do all that your imaginations allow.
The thank you that Azalea spoke was presciousness. Thank you for your time for the program. I am totally hooked on your family and all the things you have shown that can be done. What wonderful minds, and attitudes.
You did a wonderful job on the doors. Your bedroom looks perfect. The small bags in the wall look great. The whole build is awesome. Lotta talent in your family.
Garen & Ellie, your bedroom looks great! I really like your barn doors! The wood framed mirror adds a lot to your dresser. Your blue curtains really make the bedroom "pop". Of course, I LOVED seeing sweet Azalea more this week! I am about "worn out" watching y'all three pack & stack those bags. HA! Love the swing - every family needs a swing! Y'alls humor is always a BIG PLUS! God bless
I love the barn door pallet bedroom closet doors that you made. Azalea is getting so big! It will be interesting to see what she thinks when the new baby comes. I think the combination of your small and long sand bags gave a magnificent look to the waterfall design. I can’t wait until you add the tub and the finishing touches to your outside showering region. It will definitely be very unique; I bet the outside animals will be asking if they can participate in taking showers with your family. 💖
Glad the new earthbags worked alright Fam! Wow! The closet doors really finished-off your room Garyn and Ellie! Its' really a great, warm, relaxing spot to be in!! Thanks for sharing this with us! Peace to all...💜💙💜
I love the look-back intro! Great job! You will really enjoy that swing! The outdoor shower/spa gonna be sweeeet! Azalea will be walking just as new sis is born, how cute! Barn doors finished off the bedroom really well. You all give us lots of smiles, thank you so much 👍🏻👏🏻♥️
It would be stunning if after you finish the shower wall outside you make it smooth and have Bree and shay paint it to look like grass and rivet and mountains with paint. Adding birds and little critters in the background. The family is so amazing. Master carpenters, creative ideas, sings beautifully. This there anything you all can’t do. Garden and Ellie are doing a great job fixing there home up. Congratulations on the new baby. Your family are truly blessed. Would like to hear a little more about what Shae is up to. Enjoy watching each week. Your fan. Becky Miller
Single bags!!😁 The continuous bags will definitely be stronger and I imagine quicker as well. The advantage of the single bags we found is that they can be cheaper and wider. We couldn't find continuous rolls in the width we wanted. Great work y'all!
I recently came across your channel and thought about mentioning misprinted bags because of your build. Excellent work by the way! I love your videos that I've seen so far!
Still say E & G should either build pallet wood dressers or cover them in pallet wood and ad rebar handles. But love the barn doors. Now the million dollar q uh questions are going to buy more earthbag spools?
I really enjoyed this one! I hope you all stay healthy and safe. I can't wait to see the finish of the outdoor shower. When they said two weeks left til baby is due, I was like Wow already. Cool!
Another awesome show! Actually it's another favorite show. I can't wait until your shower room is finished. I really love the closet doors their really pretty. We won't mentioned the shortness. LOL Oh well they will do what their suppose to do. Hey also if you click the thumbs up supports the channel.
The mule deer got me. You had the camera pointing at the brush, and I saw one deer. Then the other moved and I jumped. Perfectly suited for their environment. Basically couldn't see a 300lb animal, staring straight at it.
You guys are so cute Allie and Garron, I can't believe how quickly Azalea has grown and now she is standing ... Wow. love the doors. It was good to see Gary this week. Love the way you all solve things and find a positive when things don't go as anticipated.
Great job. Y'all are working really hard on your project. Both babies are growing fast. One pass two feets and one coming in or about two weeks. I can't wait.
Ooo, that swing bench reminds me of my great aunt's nunery, they had tons of those out back for the nuns, and I spent so much time there with my great aunt. I bet Shae could make you guys a perfectly sized custom cushion in bright colours.
Love the finished bedroom. AND the swing. AND the brick-look of the smaller bags. I wonder if the effect will show through the cob... The info on the basketball players' hydration...something to definitely think about...sure got me thinking!
I look forward to the weekly peek all week long because your family is just precious! That sweet Azalia is as smart as a whip, isn't she?! I have a question or two, Where is the water going to go then you take a shower? Won't your feet get muddy? Do the animals accompany to in the shower? Have a great week!
I know Gary hooked up a drain for the tub but I can't remember anything about the shower. They were using an outside shower before. Maybe they have a slotted wood thing they will stand on?
Sure enjoy watching and find myself smiling along with the fun you have together. Beautiful family!! And love your creativity....I would love to come help you with a project!!
Love you guys! You’ve probably been asked this a thousand times but have you ever thought about rammed earth? No more need for bags? In any case, keep up the amazing work! I love all you’re creative projects!
😍the short bags turned out AWESOME!! Looks like bricks or subway tile style!! 😍closet doors are beautiful !! Cute 'ruler' too🤗 Azalea(sp) is such a cute model for the ruler😂
I think it may be time to get some more tubes. There is still completing the hoop barn to earthbag woodworking, paint shop to cover equipment and etc...
I'm 60 and have had a couple sheds blow away and where I need one would be an opportunity to try a bag wall shed. Friends say hey Bear you can hardly get up the hill. Lol I said it might take awhile but I intend if I can find the material I will take a chance and bearly get my heart nice shed 🐻 I really enjoy your show. Bear Sharpe from Bridgeport WV
For the cushions for your swing you can take T-shirts from your shop and make like little throw pillows with them or take the hard cushion and just cover them.

I really enjoyed this episode. You've changed something up and I'm not really sure what it is but I love it.
New intro ...less music
I agree

22:00 - You married a smart guy. Love how he thinks. Also, appreciate that you don't cut out your mistakes. It helps us all with future projects.
I agree, he takes it in stride and solves the problem.

Love seeing old projects in the intro 💛
Green Dream Project are using agricultural feed bags, with misprints, as sandbags for their earth bag home and structures.

The best thing about Friday is you guys! For us who don't have a family you have become ours. XOX God bless you all.
The rebar handles are genius, they look amazing
I’m stealing that rebar idea from Garen. Those handles are cool.
I love the barn door pallet bedroom closet doors that you made. Azalea is getting so big! It will be interesting to see what she thinks when the new baby comes. The barn doors are amazing. It's always fun watching you working together
My favorite part of Friday is when the notification comes that another video is ready! Love everything!
Still say E & G should either build pallet wood dressers or cover them in pallet wood and ad rebar handles. But love the barn doors. Now the million dollar q uh questions are going to buy more earthbag spools?
The smaller bags give it a castle brick feel🏰 or small fairy tale woodland cottage. So nice.
I love that intro... And, well... The whole thing!
Great improvements to the channel. Love it! Also, Bree, hair down FTW! Can't wait for next Friday!
I love Friday nights here in the midwest. Thanks folks, you're the best
I really enjoyed this one! I hope you all stay healthy and safe. I can't wait to see the finish of the outdoor shower. When they said two weeks left til baby is due, I was like Wow already. Cool!
You guys are awesome...thank you for sharing every week! ❤
That little thorn was so cute... We have honey locust trees on our farm... Now THOSE have thorns!
Azalea's such a good apprentice! Everything is coming along nicely, keep up the good work!

Love new intro. The closet doors look fabulous!!!!
The mule deer got me. You had the camera pointing at the brush, and I saw one deer. Then the other moved and I jumped. Perfectly suited for their environment. Basically couldn't see a 300lb animal, staring straight at it.
Love the pallet wood closet doors/handles; makes the room look so much better.
You guys are so cute Allie and Garron, I can't believe how quickly Azalea has grown and now she is standing ... Wow. love the doors.
It was good to see Gary this week. Love the way you all solve things and find a positive when things don't go as anticipated.

LOVE your wardrobe doors!! You master bedroom looks so cozy and inviting. Well done!
Peace and blessings stay safe the room looks great. The wall I love the way it turning out.
Ooo, that swing bench reminds me of my great aunt's nunery, they had tons of those out back for the nuns, and I spent so much time there with my great aunt. I bet Shae could make you guys a perfectly sized custom cushion in bright colours.

Yay! I've been waiting! Sence last Friday❤❤❤😻
Love your work and way of life, and Bree you are looking beautiful. 😊
It's looking so good. I wondered about those smaller bags. Now I know.
You can just look at the larger bags as the clouds to your river! ☁️
I love Bri's comments "Yes we need all the bags you have we are holding back the Red Sea" LOL. I Love that you named your pug Jim .
I thought his name was Chip? Maybe I'm mistaken, my uncle had a pug he named p chip because she couldn't fit her whole tongue in her mouth and it would dry up like a potato chip!
yeah, I think he’s called chip...
I love you guys , you inspire me and when you work together it’s just great your such a hard working family ❤️❤️❤️❤️ from the U K
Beautiful mule deer💖
