Because your improv is revolving around the B chord, not D#m or anything stereotypically linked to "sad". The key filter itself isn't enough for you to establish what's the actual key of what you're playing, you could set it to D Major and play an entire section in the key of Bm, for example. Also I don't really know if the "detect root key" function is suited to polyphonic/complex audio, I have to go through the manual.

can u drop a vid on like your workstation flow cuz i was thinking of selling my genuinely loud ass pc for like a mac studio or a macbook pro because those are basically fanless but that's gonna be a switch from windows to mac and then after that i also don't have room on my desk for the monitors i have so I was thinking of just getting like airpod maxs or something what do you think about something like that my guy, like recommendations or something like that?

it's also a thing because with the regular windows asio driver you can't change any channel inputs and i heard on mac their regular drivers allow you to and I think bluetooth is recognized too

I have a mbp m3 max and i use focal evo twins. Id recommend closed back headphones unless your environment is really quiet. Wouldn’t recommend the AirPod max. Not a good soundstage nor can it hook up to an interface
