You really should do a review on the mossberg silver reserve you can’t find anything out there on it and I think you would do a good job reviewing it.

Thanks for the look inside. I appreciate your content. I think you have very sage advice about guns and kids. My ten year old has been shooting for a couple of years and we just started shotgunning with him. My wife is more of a pistol and rifle girl, but trying to get her into clays too. Anyways, I keep all my guns locked up, mostly in a safe, with some locked elsewhere strategically. My son knows how most of the actions work as he has helped me clean many times. We have a family defense plan and talk about what if scenarios that range from tornados to home invasions. Anyways, thanks for making me feel smart instead of crazy for thinking about these types of things. Keep up the great work, sir.
The Safe room is looking great. You need to find yourself an Ithaca 37 in 16ga!!! It is such a sweet old shotgun and one of the few that you can slam fire! It was on my bucket list and I found one in both 16 and 12 ga this year. Both of them were a bit beat up and worn but I bought them to shoot, someday I will get one that is a looker!

A good old unique shot is the Browning Double Automatic they didn’t make a lot of them. They are fun gun to shoot. Take a look.
Oh yeah, a real classic, the Auto-5, unique in several ways, and certainly historic. I am soon to possibly inherit a 16 gauge, though sadly not a 'Sweet 16' model, considered a 'plum'.
Wish there was more in the way of ammo choices available but 16's aren't as popular here in the States as on the Continent, though I understand new model 16's are now being issued (?). Just for interested folks you might also speak to the relative pro's & cons of the gauge and reasons 16 faded out of the mainstream, if you are so inclined. At any rate, it would be a real kick for a relative noob (me) to watch you put the old girl through her paces, wringing out the best that gun can muster in truly skilled hands (you, hahaha).

Awesome gun room and panels. Just FYI with the 20ga bolt I did shoot a double on ducks once. You need Remington Autos that sold more than all the rest. Durable I have a 11-87 that I shoot Trap with from 1989 that never has had a broken part. Thanks
My problem is always going from my benelli to mosberg and forgetting to pump after the first shot it’s always nice to see what you have Steve do you have many older guns that would be worth showing ?
Love to see you do a video on an SKB Ithaca XL300 or XL900, my grandfather bought one new in the 70s for $300 and he passes and it was passed down to my dad and now recently to me, they’re super reliable and I’d love to see your experience with one

Love that you have a hat signed by Tom Knapp. When I first saw one of your videos it instantly made me think of Tom Knapp. My father took my brother and I to one of his shows and I thought it was the coolest things ever. I was also lucky enough to get a hat signed by him!

Great video and the gun room is Superb sadly in the UK we have Safe’s only I have a old Moss berg 500 had a SX3 sold replaced with Beretta A400 Excel ATS Sporting +Kick off best gun for every day use very very impressed as I had major surgery and suffered from recoil this is fantastic 😎
Thank you for this video Steve! I agree with teaching your kids about how to act around firearms. I myself have left unloaded firearms around to see how they react when they didn’t know I was around. I sent my son at a young age to bring my wallet off of my dresser and he came back empty handed. I asked him why he didn’t bring my wallet back and he said because my pocket knife was touching my wallet and he knew he wasn’t supposed to mess with my knife or my guns! It definitely goes back to how you raise them up! Keep releasing the great content Steve! Stay safe!

So glad I'm not the only one who tried to pump my semi auto when I first got it. I went from the Remington 870 to a Browning Maxus 2. Sadly after a year I still catch myself trying to pump the Maxus 2

If you don’t own a .17 HMR you need to! that’s my all time favorite rifle cartridge! A blast to shoot, inexpensive, deadly accurate out to 200! God bless!

If you like the A5 with the recoiling barrel, you will also like the Remington Model 48 Sportsman - i have one from 1954 and love to shoot it!
I think a Benelli M2 Speed or Franchi affinity would be my choice if I was picking your new gun but I’m a big fan of them owning both !
My first gun was a Remington 597 22lr (: and for my pistol glock 19 gen4 but I no longer have that out of all the Glocks made I got the only bad one lol. So I got a 43x and good to go now

I’ve said something like this before in one of your videos before. Outta do shotgun comparison between an original 1100 Remington from the 60s or 70s compared to either a new gas gun or compare it to a 11-87 from the 80s or 90s. Something very similar in a firearm. But years different in production.
Try the CZ upland ultralight, just bought it, it’s a cheapish over under not a pretty one but it is a workhorse

You definitely need to obtain some nice super X model 1 Winchester’s. Either skeet or field stocks with 30 inch barrels best sporting clays guns. Mine have mercury recoil reducers and ported barrels. I own five of these guns,trap, skeet and field. With ported barrels Pachmayer decelerators and recoil reducers these guns are smooth as glass.

i would like to see a stevens model 58C bolt action .410 shotgun. its an older gun but the one i have is really nice and i can smoke clays at the 16yd line on the trap range
my Remington model 41 that i have was made in 1937 i think and its still in good condition
Hey man, love the channel, you've helped me a lot for my purchase and I appreciate it, but need some help. Got the ethos sport 12ga 30" and it's built great for me. My girl is small so knew it wouldn't be the best first experience, but she loved shooting. I want to get her a gas semi, 20g for recoil reduction. Out of all you've shot, what options would you recommend. I was leaning beretta. Also thanks, before we went, we found out she was left eye dominant.

I was wondering why it was blurred too. I think you are correct that there may be a few new firearms in that section that are under NDA. Steve may have realized that after he recorded and did not want to take the time to move them out of the safe room or put gun socks on them and re-record.

I know it's not entirely your thing, but I'd love to see some side by side shotguns, both on the cheaper end and higher end. And well, I definitely know this isn't your thing but I wouldn't mind seeing some combat shotguns. I think that could be interesting
As a recently married architect and amateur woodworker: for your wife's argument, you have room to do vertical storage two or three high (butt shelf solidly anchored and barrel pins just like below) and still have some horizontally displayed guns. Of course that's not as fun buttttt it's more fun than losing that battle.

Great video. I could not agree more with you on the importance of properly introducing your kids to guns. My kids grew up watching mom and dad shoot than shooting themselves under supervision when they were old enough. Also, I made sure they spent time with me learning how to take apart and do maintenance on the guns we had shot. With this hands on exposure the kid's curiosity was satisfied and we never had any problems. Of course we also set very firm rules for safe gun handling and never touching guns without our permission.
I love having my wife shoot with me but the danger is that every so often she lays claim to one of the guns and I rarely get to shoot it again.
