- Whilst in Texas, I took the opportunity to visit one of the most famous gun stores in the world - Gordy & Sons.
Firstly, I was wrong - it's not just a gun store - it's a proper outfitters, with anything you could need for more or less any trip around the world.
Secondly - this could be the best gun room in the world!

Couple of important notes:
This is my local shop. The inventory is amazing but what really sets them apart is the customer service. They are the most welcoming and friendly outfitter I’ve ever dealt with. Other places act like they’re doing you a favor to get a gun off the rack. These guys will fill the counter with everything that matches your parameters so you can handle them back to back, answer all of your questions in detail, and they’re happy to do it. They’ve got a life-long customer.
Having a panic attack you touching them with no gloves 🫠

He should be wearing clothe gloves
Is he special that he doesn’t have to wear gloves?
My least favourite word, ‘affordable’. It makes zero sense. 🤷♂️
who-ston texas?
This kids got a big metal belt buckle, buttons all the way down his shirt, a microphone, and he's running the stock of a $110k gun up and down his body, oooohh scared me!😮
If the vault cost 4 million, imagine what the guns are worth!
I can’t imagine holding, much less hunting or shooting any of these. They look like pieces of art!
Only gun shop I’ve ever walked in and been asked if I’d like any refreshments.
It's incredible when passion and customer service meet to make an amazing place to go. This shop looks amazing
When they were talking about the problems run into by drying wood stocks in salt . Reminds me of a book I read by a guy whose family had been stock makers since 1700s . He said they had a warehouse full of wood . Every generation replaced what they used for their grandchildren to use . The wood they made their gunstocks from had been drying for two generations
Another great bit from Johnny!
This is brilliant, that bit at
Very well done JC and team! A most enjoyable tour of an amazing place. Such dedication to the art of gun making and shooting with a dedicated well experienced staff who know their onions and are officiants of their trades and it is good to see 'Trades' being kept alive. Nice one indeed!
Retired U.S. Military . Have been in shops like this before and they were all in old Europe. Did not know this place was on the map. Now that said. Going to visit them soon. Great Video over the top collections.
Wow ! That vault is just a slice of pure gun-nut heaven 👏👏
One of the high lites of the Texas trip, then again the whole trip was amazing. And once again you guys nailed the experience. BTW you need more of that guy in the Brooklyn Dodgers cap on the channel🤪🤪
