Got an 04 325i my cats got clogged around 240k, I pulled the top O2 sensors cause it would bog down at 30 mph, already paid a shop to clean and reinstall the 2 months ago, he keeps asking when to bring it in, but I can't go a day without the car. The hot exhaust melted first the SAP hose, now the vacuum canister melted, still runs good, sounds like an old muscle car😎 Kinda don't wanna change it, but cant run climate control.
About your headers not bolting to stock exhaust, were the flanges smaller than the stock ones and cocked off at an angle? Because thats the problem i have right now. Ive been running it straight out of the cats for a while now because of it, lol. Sounds like shit but not many options
@@austinsparks4561 so with the stock exhaust I thought I could get away with eBay headers but yea the stock exhaust had the flanges flipped if that makes sense. Which then led me to buy legit headers and a magna flow exhaust.

thats just like gunk from emission like the ccv line being cracked that is connecting to your old egr that you deleted or you need new gaskets for your manifold
@@ShravanDwarka I believe it has already been done, long story short I bought the ecu off of jimmy Oakes and they most likely have shut the SAP off. There’s an old video of them tuning the factory ecu on his channel and that’s what’s currently in my car. Although you are most likely right, I don’t have a check engine life for it or any problems due to my situation.
@@ShravanDwarka it depends on whether or not you care about a service engine soon light. I deleted mine without coding and it runs fine but i have an ses light

shouldn't you re-code the ECU to turn off the SAP ?
