Big up to the camera man. For not talking over the incredible sight.
It can be edited and muted in btw
Nothing worse than someone talking to ruin your view
Yeah all he did was whistle so loud it could shatter glass 😒. No credit, it actually made it super stressful.
@@scottblack7182 Let us all pray for your quick recovery.
@@jasonkiigespere1920 😂😂
Wherever he whistles water follows him
What a good boy
After "A man called Horse" film, here you are "A dog called Waterfall" video.
I hope it's not the waterfall of the dog.
I had earbuds on and when he whistled, I literally made me jump. Ouch!
@@sheilajohnson6478 a shrill whistle and the damn water follows :)
They call him the anti-Moses.
I wanted to hear the water, so I cranked up the volume just in time for the ear piercing whistle to echo throughout my house at 2AM. Nice.
I can relate, I have been reading the comments before I started the video, and lots of them are raving about calm before the storm, so I turned up the volume (although I always have it silent) 🤦men my headache gone out of control...
99% of the time while one roams in the mountains, there is nothing but stillness and calm all around. Some birds flying or rivers n waterfalls are the most kinetics one gets to see. To see such timely Marvel must have been a hair raising experience. Great!
Goosebumps
Gonna guess it happens every year and maybe he grew up around here and has seen it many times... I mean, it's just another possibility.
Isn't Marvel the descendant of Timely?
Yes one wishes one was out of the city..but one can't get one to come with
@@1Bond007 Goosebumpy experience
It's amazing to think that that watering hole at the bottom of the fall was literally carved out over thousands of years by constant flash floods and water falls. Who knows how much higher the bottom of that rock side used to be.
Exactly my thought - a geologist's dream...
That’s exactly what I was thinking… how old must this feature be to have been so richly carved by such sparse and irregular water flow??
Thought this too
Used to be the same as the top
Nope, ancient aliens, plainly
Really cool capture. What a magical looking spot. You can tell it’s been happening for years.
Looks like it used to happen on a much larger scale too?
way longer than years, probably thousands of years if not more. Look at the shape of those clifs.
If he had whistled before the water came over the top I would have been highly skeptical and then immediately impressed.
I am very grateful that he was already recording at the right moment and shared nonetheless.
I know the people down below are probably appreciating that he whistled because one person in the wrong spot might have gone splat!
There were/ could have been people below😲😯😳😲😲😳😳😯😲😳😲??
I too thought some forest rangers or someone is over at some local (India) waterfall... and that whistle was to alert or communicate someone on the other side.
.
.
This is THE SAME kind of shrill whistle.. local herdsmen or those who forage the jungles.. make
I thought the same ,when he got into position then whistled and the Water began. I thought they broke loose a beaver dam or blockage.
@@richardthomas1531 I saw the water came first before the whistle blow..short of few seconds..😁
To be at the right moment and the right time can sometimes capture priceless moments ,blessed love to the world
I dont think that was a coincidence the way he made his way to his spot and whistled but who knows?
I whistled after the water was over the edge. I was repelling and had a helmet mounted gopro.
@@Mitchelln99 wow thats insane, where were walking by or checking out the gorge? And thats pretty cool you replied to me so fast
@@throatpunch4789 trying to get a companion's attention? I suspect that if one was a real denizen of Zion or similar areas, you could correlate a rainfall and where the outflow was likely to appear. And then try to get there in time to get a shot like that.
Thats why flash floods are super scary. We should take extra precaution, while we play in river. Always watch out for rains in the hills.
Yes you are 100% right...i have personally experienced too
Rains in the hills don't always show. In Jamaica where we have ground water running for miles,, it may be raining in one parish and the under ground caverns fill up and starts flooding in another parish. Especially when it starts at specific river heads. Dried up rivers just flooding in seconds because way up in the hills of another parish its raining like crazy.
How did you train the water to start flowing on command?
It was that whistle you heard.
He put a sponge at the bottom
He's a waterbender.
I think, He is Dr. Strange🤔
By depriving it of its natural route, would be my guess.
Whenever I see an amazing geographical place like this, I always wonder what the ancient people of the area thought of it. Would they have gathered wood and bones from animals caught in flash floods? Or would they have seen this as some kind of holy place? Idk, maybe I've read Clan of The Cave Bears too many times...
I can definitely see where your thoughts are going, but I don't think it's to do with reading that book too many times. (One can never read a favorite book too many times, even if you know the dialogue. 😁) It's very likely ancient people saw this as you're imagining it. Any place with trees and running water holds strong energy. Not sure what got that waterfall going again, apart from the flash flood, but it's a good thing. Not just because it's beautiful, but because stagnant energy needs to be removed -- and I can tell that waterfall space hadn't had water flowing over it in a good while. It's not unlike the feeling you get of rearranging furniture and doing a deep spring cleaning. You may not be able to put your finger on why, exactly, but it just feels more light and fresh and relaxing. 😁
I think about these things all the time. I wonder sometimes if one of my ancestors walked the land, or what type of people have been here before I. Its such an interesting thought experiment for me. So you're not alone in that regard.
Maybe, it's your appreciation for nature and the inner respect you have for other people's culture. 🤔
Some would see a place like this and the quickest thought would be how to destroy not preserve, let alone wanting to know how the people of that land benefited from such a place.
Ancient people saw this sight exactly how you are seeing it. It's the human programming
‘As I walk the land of my honored ancient ancestors…’ I can imagine a few ‘holy shit!’s muttered!😝😝😝and on a serious note, that is a once in a lifetime experience really. Spectacular nature and her power! MAD RESPECT for those who came before us! 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
That goes to show if there's a flash flood warning, you better stay clear of possible flooding areas like dry river beds because when that water comes, it could be fast and furious.
Meh, as long as it's not too fast or too furious.
Zion is famous for that.
Wow… Talk about being in the right place at the right time! So amazing! And so dramatic… Thanks for sharing this!!!
Great timing...hope nothing bad happened there..
Thats one awesome footage bro. But u be careful first while walking in rocks. Footage is secondary safety is priority 👍. Cheers nd thanks
You talk like my aunt

This video reminds me of a tragic incident which took place few years ago .Some students were on a trip and thought of stopping by and taking photos on this dried out river ,climbing on those big boulders, they didn't heard the siren rang before authorities open the dam as it was over flowing and the water was slowly rushing in ,for the first few seconds , they didn't care but few student went to safer place and some did ask to get to the safer place but some students continue to take pics as the water was rushing in and the locals were yelling at them from much higher places to move and go to the safer place as they were able to see more clearly how fast the water was coming in ,I saw the video ,i think few panicked and freezed or couldn't come to the terms that their life is in danger ,most of the students washed out ,their friends who escaped were running on the sideline with the river rush taking their friends away . It was so sad ,it took days for the search team to find them .some got stuck under the boulder and later their bodies were found . They were very young around 18 years old ,may their soul rest in peace .
They are IIT student and they were on the trip from clg
I'm from near Lonavla..... Amazing how many idiots die or almost every yr during the monsoons because they think sitting in waterfalls and roaming in the forests is smart.
People have ruined Lonavla
Did this happen in Canada?
In india
Nature has its way of wiping out the less bright. Is why I always carry a can of red bull , a shot of cocaine , and a shot of heroin.
The red bull will give me wings to fly away from danger. The shot of cocaine is to give swift speed in more close of call situation. And the heroin is to kick back and appreciate the situation afterwards. 👍
😂
Gotta have humor sometimes even though it may at first cone off insensitive. But on the real yeah nature is both the most beautiful and yet the nastiest cunt ever. Rip and my condolences to those folk and loved ones.
This is what the internet was made for. Videos like this!! Well done 👍
And here I always thought it was for cutesy cat videos. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Beautiful video captureing and showing
I love it when the camera operator just stays silent in these situations. Thanks so much for that. A beautiful sight. ✌️
this is beautiful, the timing is great, keep safe distance.
Judging by the undercut in the rock, that's been happening there for a LONG time
Having seeing this yourself .
Priceless. Having to capture on a camera. Superb. Amazing.
Wow so beautiful 😍 good timing
No, it’s a set up. You all didn’t notice that his friend stands on the cliff opposite there pour a bucket of water when he whistles?
Oh no.there on to me. Lol
Yeah.. there's someone standing there 🙄
Then they were flowing along the water😂😂
Common yr itna badhiya joke kaise bnate ho 😂
If a bucket of water can do this pls send the friend to my house it will save me the water bills
The most amazing thing is.
The cameraman filmed this on LANDSCAPE!
Underrated comment xD
Portrait only works for phones and social media.
@@Mitchelln99 and even there, I usually prefer landscapes xD
So true, not that annoying portrait mode. Now we just need a tripod for the camera movement....
Great capture keep rocking brother
Great job capturing the beginning! Love it!
one of my teachers told me that actually a lot of ppl die in the desert just because of flash floods and ppl tend to sleep on dryd river beds probably more shade
great video nice for not voice over senseless commentaries kudos to you mr climber and filmer :)
Stupid people make up a dwelling in a dried river bed.
My father always said, "Where water walks one time, it will walk there two times."
What a great life experience. Thank you for sharing
Amazing capture of scene. 👏👏👏👏👍👍.....
Wow! Sensational!
Wow what a timing.. Fantastic video.. Bro keep it up
Beautiful!!! Thank you!!! ❤️
Good very good timing
I appreciate the marvellous lack of OMGs and Wows. Also the fact you held your camera in landscape and not portrait. Extra kudos. Thanks.
Oh wow what a magical moment...... Thanks for sharing.....
So rarest moment of nature !
*whistles*
Waterfall: " ok ok. Geez Mark.."
It’s amazing to see firsthand the phenomena that has carved that bowl out over hundreds, probably thousands of years.
To nature, it's just an everyday thing. To us, its this major, beautiful thing. Beautiful catch, thanks!
*Don't go chasing waterfalls Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to*

That’s incredible!
Great timing, well done.
So beautiful!!!
Soooo cool! 😎
Cool video. I once went through a a deep slot canyon that required belaying into cold pools of water, forget which one, and about started a flash flood from peeing my pants because it started sprinkling rain and knowing flash floods start miles ahead I thought we and another group going through were done for. Swore never go again if I saw clouds, but I was with friends who were into that stuff, I was mostly just following and trusting, bad move.
Never just follow, teachers lead you into big shit.
Ahhhh! My ears at 3am are ringing now. Beautiful video!
No words
Great appreciation
Waah kya timing hai!!
Hi! From Zion Utah. I live here and that's a great shot. What timing on the rains. Not an easy task. Congratulations are in order! Ps. Thanks for the sound of silence while filming.
Yeah, right place right time!
Great stuff, and a bit of advance knowledge there, well done...😊👍
So beautiful
aside from the whistling, the shaking, the rattling, and not standing still, thanks to whoever captured this. pretty amazing 👍👍
A question of being at the right place, at the right time 💪
Thank you for not talking while filming 👌
Props to you for summoning the flash flood!
This gives new meaning to the phrase " wet your whistle" 😁

He is awesome!!! Beautiful.
This is awesome. (But OMG, get a tripod or set your camera on a rock. Too much movement!) Still, excellent capture at just the right time!
He was hiking up a mountain
Ya kinda sucks with a gopro. I've been scouting canyons and planing to capture it again with proper equipment.
@@Mitchelln99 Sorry, man. Didn't mean to be so critical. It really is an awesome capture!

What was that light about on the bottom left of the waterfall?
Thanks! the light was a campfire.
Oh boy, hopefully they were okay after all the water came rushing down. Thanks again.
@@user-wn5cn4ue2j yes they where all good.

wow.. you're lucky guy.. 😍👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You see something spectacular at a place you may never visit in your life.
Then you nitpick the camera shot.
I for one thank you for showing me this since I doubt that I will ever travel there.
There's nothing better than the God's Creation, nature is amazing...😍😍❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
I starting to see the fascination people's have with mountains, they are beautiful in a way & awe inspiring, like when they warm up & share beautiful looking lava & when they get waterd down, they crumble & fall , but when they are standing tall & snow covers their peaks they are so pretty, then avalanche whoosh, like wow ! MOUNTAINS !
Can't wait to do the first barrel run on this waterfall. I'll listen for your whistle.
I subscribed 🙂
Very cool!
Amazing! Where is this?
Cool video. Wonder where the water was coming from....
I would be terrified for my life if I ever stand that close to a cliff or whatever that is
People go missing in my state when these flash floods happen during monsoon, so please be careful. Also, I think I'm the 550th subber?
Looks like that has been happening for millions of years, based on the erosion.
When you are in the right place, in the right time, with the right camera.❤️👍
अप्रतिम फोटोग्राफी . 👍👌😊
Wonderful
Huge tap filling a huge bucket.....nice👍
OK... I'm in Número 751... checked out your other videos and like the spread.
RIP headphone users, that's a strong whistle
the erosion patern on the rocks under the waterfall is quite nice to look at. I wonder if the water ever used to go that high "back in the days".
