Then you add two very talented actors in Peter Boyle and Doris Roberts. Then add Patricia Heaton, an incredibly versatile actor. That's a recipe for a great show 👏
I love Frank & Marie's petty arguments. The TV in the bathroom, the argument over who invented the lawn, how deep a pan is before it's a pot... Never gets old!
Amy and her family was a great addition to the show. I love all the characters on this show. No matter how many times, it's so funny each time I watch it.
Marie and Frank are the best comedy couple ever, no couple better, great acting and writing, I wish is was 1996 again so I had it all in front of us again. Thanks.

Thanks to creator Phil, the writers and this amazing cast for 9 brilliant years. When you watch the bloopers, you'll really understand the genius of Ray Ramone comedy.

The trickiest thing about a shiw that runs this long is adding a new character like a spouse or family memember. But Amy slots in so perfectly to this cast.

"Robbie, give your father his order of miserable bastard" I looked back at the first couple seasons of this show and Marie had some great, edgy lines. She was a great character throughout, but they really sort of lowered her edgy wit a bit as the series went on.
