"So cavemen had lawns?"
"Yes they were called fields you baboon!"
Frank and Marie were the heart of the show!
“A loveless marriage?!” Frank was absolutely flabbergasted by that comment but that made it so much more real, they fought and bickered but deep down there was true love for one another
I remember that one. Should have showed more of it and how they made up.
definitely, I've always said this. frank and marie may go at it pretty hard sometimes but you know if it came down to it, they're each other's ride or die no matter what.
Agreed! I guess that's why people say "put your finger out of our family's business."
people express their feeling in different ways, clearly Frank has his own way, and It would be ruled for other to judge him based off his expriances.
Agreed. That scene was so poignant. Marie really held the reins in the relationship and bossed Frank around... but at the same time she catered to his wants and needs everyday and did so dutifully. To see Frank be so shook shows how deeply he appreciated Marie. Honestly those two are so funny but such pains in the asses, I’m glad they found each other 😆❤️❤️❤️
It's heavily implied they enjoyed the bickering.....and it was revealed they had sex more than Ray and Debra a week in another episode.
"Don't you tell me to be quiet. I have a mind of my own, you know. I can contribute. I'm not just some trophy wife!"
"You're a trophy wife?... What contest in Hell did I win?"
He won the Loser Contest
0:59 “Get out of my head, woman!” lol 😂😂
Peter Boyle and Dorris Roberts were made for these parts!! No one could’ve done it better than them
@brianarosebrown 2002 yes Peter died in 2006
@brianarosebrown 2002 yes it is he was a great actor. Played his role perfect in Raymond
What helped Peter get the part from what I saw on ELR's trivia section on imdb he got lost and when he finally got to the audition he was agitated and such.
Absolutely. The ensemble as a whole was great
I agree completely!!
These arguments helped make the show so authentic. Not every line was funny or a joke or a sex reference. Couples fight in real life.
Yes it was quite realistic. Like, not pushing too hard, neither the humor nor the drama.
Dave Glo 😊
Dave Glo, that's why ELR will always be one of my favorite sitcoms to watch. Most of their lines are used in our everyday lives.
There were tons of sex references on this show. There was a whole episode written around the frequency with which Frank and Marie have sex each week. Another one with Frank taking erection pills. What's wrong with sex references? Why are Americans so prudish and sensitive to such things? As long as it's funny, who cares if the topic is about sex? And I hate to break it to you, sex is a natural part of everyone's lives.
hutch there’s nothing wrong with sex jokes, I think they meant that this show didn’t rely on them like a lot of sitcoms nowadays do
“You want to know the biggest problem in this family? I’m chained to it. She married him, and this one can’t deal with it.” Frank the most brutally honest character in The show.
I always thought the "loveless marriage" fight should have been number one, because it was really the only time that Frank admitted to genuinely loving Marie.
Then Frank broke Marie's glasses
Frank might be an obnoxious buffoon but he's the ONLY one who has no problem standing up to Marie.
rippingtons60 I liked it when Marie called Frank a baboon. I also liked it when Marie smacked Frank on the but.
To a point. He knew not to go too far because he needed to eat.🤣
Amy and Debra too. She wore down Debra, but she was still fighting the good fight.
Didn't Joann stand up to her?
@@macaronifanatic7287omg yes Joanne told Marie straight and Marie went for her lol
"OUT WITH THE OLD BAG, IN WITH THE NEW" lol I'm dead
Thank you! Where are you going? On a picnic!
Got have there muffin. Got have there food not health and screaming poor marie
When frank yells out a picnic the fact that ray almost died laughing, you could tell that was improvised. And it continues in the scene when it pans back to ray after a second and hes trying to keep his composure. One of the best lines frank has ever delivered
Out with the old bag. In with the new. 😂😂
0:48: Frank: THOU SHALL NOT EAT THE CANNOLIS!! His way of including the Bible to insult Marie lol
Frank and Marie Barone were always the best! There is something so hilarious about watching old, married people fight!
RIP the absolute legendary husband and wife team .
They were 10 years apart and so was their passing.....rip to two legends
@Jack Norton He died in 2006 and she died 9 years later in 2015
Frank and Marie's marriage is healthier than Debra and Amy's parents'. They let it all out, all the yelling help.
Marie: " We seen the highs and lows."
Frank:"Which day was the high?"
@@rebekahredd5545😂😂😂
There will NEVER again be a program as funny, well balanced and family-friendly as ELR! 🧡
You are correct. Everybody loves Raymond is the best and always will be
Family Friendly?? oh no... i dont think those fights made it quite the friendly show for the family
@@SimsMoyal It's called "Comedy", compared to the violent and sick crap on TV today this is *PURE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT!*
@@MrMenefrego1 i didn't feel it as such - they are always ending with someone wants to cry or his feelings hurt like the time when Marie made her husband a sandwich and it threw it away
@@SimsMoyal I am sorry, you must be confusing this TV program with reality... This is not reality.. this is a TV show, it is fantasy not reality. The things that these ACTORS did were Performances, no one really cried, nobody's feelings were actually hurt. They paid these actors to do these scenes. Understand?
Number 3 should've been number 1.
Him tearing the glasses is a bigger statement on how much he loves her more than any words can.
A loveless marriage? A LOVELESS MARRIAGE?! A LOVELESS MARRIAGE?!!!
Frank: I wouldn't be caught dead with Rose Capoodle
Marie and Frank reminds me a lot of my late paternal grandparents.
This was one of the greatest comedy shows of all time. Their chemistry together was one of the best in sitcoms. Wish I could've been there for the bloobers. Unbelievable. Thank you all.
😉🤗🤓 🌹👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👌
0:50 Marie's words were inappropriate enough to say out loud at a funeral, but Frank's remark was literally the frosting on the cake. 😅
This show was the best!!!! Frank and Marie were my ultimate favorite TV couple, RIP Peter Boyle and Doris ROberts. My grandparents are Frank and Marie times 100,000
#4 is So Funny "Out With The Old Bag in With The New"!
😂😂😂the way ray jumps and punches the air😂😂😂
Love it !!💜
"I HIT A PENGUIN!" Lol
"I'M WRITING THE TICKET!"
One thing I always noticed about this family. They didn't care, who was around, when they said anything. Or how loud they talked. Especially Debra.
Yes just like most families lol. The Barones were an honest bunch, no need for pretension or BS social courtesies. They kept it real.
number 1 should have been when frank cleans marie faces after a fight, i think its the episode frank wins an award,
Exactly what I was thinking:):) That episode is where Frank wins this so-called "Man of the Year" award at his lodge and Ray & Robert have to give him a tribute.
I wouldn't be caught dead with Rose Caputo!
Even Frank knew he went too far 😄
Frank was sooo good, he could make you feel sorry for Marie at times. That's Acting!!!
I always felt bad for Frank...the guy was never quick on his feet because he never played victim like Marie.
Their chemistry was amazing!!! May they both Rest In Peace!!!🙏🏻✝️
“You are NOT getting a tv in the bathroom!”
*”Then I’m bringing the toilet into the living room!”* 🤣👌
without robert marie and frank, this show would be nothing.
you are acting like they did get rid of them when they did it tbh
Well yes. The point was to give Raymond a crazy ass family.
Yeah it would Everybody Hates Debra instead.
Brad Garett is a treasure
They all were were perfect. I feel like it was a perfecr cast; no one felt out of place.
They argue like my mum and dad. No wonder I always found watching this show so familiar.
The last argument about rhe fat is so hilarious and ray jumping up lol
That first fight you forgot the part where Frank says "it's your job" LOL!!
"What contest in hell did I win" 🤣
Out with the old bag, in with the new
😂😂😂 one of franks best quotes
“where are you going?” “on a picnic” lol
@@Rheisler1475 thank you!
you are welcome!@@brittanybrown484
Gotta love these two fighting
The third one is quite sad. Despite their constant bickering, you can tell that deep down they really love each other. Many couples who argue a lot seem to have the strongest marriages.
Just like my maternal grandparents before my grandma passed away. Sure, they would bicker at each other here and there, but the true love for one another was there
I guess
My Grandparents were just like them and stayed together 50 plus years before my Grandmother passed first and my Grandfather missed her so much he died two years later.
You forgot the fork and the spoon! That's the fight I thought of immediately.
"When did we get those?"
Love there fights. There funny and things u wouldn't expect
Timothy Brown absoutle classics 😂😂👌
1. *Their 2. They're... had to be done :P
@@MacFuzeller Thank you. 😌
Jefffron
That’s bad will 😂😂😂😂😂
Marie: No, you weren't just talking. You were picturing her naked! (the lady behind her drops her jaw)
Frank: Get out of my head, woman!
@@calebboros7975 Marie: Let me tell you something, Frank. I don't care what your dreams are. You are never going to find yourself in the arms of Harriet Lickman.
@@broden4838 Frank: And let me tell you something, Marie. I don’t care how many plans you make. I wouldn’t be caught dead with Rose Caputo.
There arguments are golden. Marie and Frank perfect couple.
It's amazing that these 2 have stayed together for so long. XD
No it's not because honest marriages like theirs or my grandparents are the ones that actually last.
Frank and Marie are so real. It is hard to remember they are pretending.
RIP Peter Boyle and Doris Roberts❤
I bet both of there spirits are still fighting
A loveless marriage? A loveless marriage! A LOVELESS MARRIAGE!!!!!!
Then break Marie's glasses
3:57 Where are you going? Frank: On a picnic. Out with the old bag, In with the new.
The absolute best sitcom ❤
Wow she put the Bible down and said no she didn’t eat the cannolis 🤣🤣🤣
Frank is so funny I like the part of thou shall not eat those canolies 💕
My parents were married for fifty eight years until the end. They had so many fights and great times too.
Fun fact, Doris Roberts was 10 years older than Peter Boyle and then lived another ten years after his death. She outlived him by 20 years.
A 20 years?
Wow. Amazed neither one actually died of a heart attack during the acting....
Peter Boyle (Frank Barone ) actually suffered from one on set in season 4 he missed 2 weeks of shooting
Debra missed the episode where Raymond goes on a cruise with Marie.
Same episode that he mentioned.
I love this show so much ❤️😂😂😂
I also like the part that he says No these are the pants and also the part of frank complaining with the bag
In the #1 spot, with Maries jar of fat, Rays fist pumping at the end was the best part. Im sure every married man cheered him on, even if only on the inside. XD
Where you going??? ON A PICNIC
Out with the old bag; in with the new!
Thank you!!!!
No trophy wife? that was my favorite one
lukeparmenter didnt put it on cos i dont really consider it a fight but i love it ! its more a smartass hilarious comment so may have to make a top 10 frank smartass comments video !!
lukeparmenter here we go :) ruclips.net/video/8phTamKNSS4/видео.html
What contest in hell did I win?
@@irvinmorales1409 Hahahaha! I think I'd peed a little the first time I heard him say that! 😂😂😂😂

So you did an Amy? 😅
One of TV best sitcoms ever to the actors and actresses who passed away my thoughts are with your family you may be gone but not forgotten still going God bless you guys thanks you guys rock couldn't breathe and stop laughing thanks for a good laugh and the memories you should be amazed and proud to peter Boyle and doris Roberts as frank and Marie barone you did your role perfectly thanks for everything !! Joe
Marie and Frank were basically my Grandparents for real lol. I swear they fought exactly like this but also stayed together for over 50 years and loved each other despite the arguing just like Marie and Frank.
How did they stay together through out the series.
@@darklordsofthesith5331 Because of what I said lol. Because they were always honest with what they felt they didn't have resentment like couples who keep it all inside and it eventually explodes and they get divorced.
@@kendallrivers1119Like Debra's parents.
@@Fact-fiend_1000ASMR.Exactly!
I love this show.
“Out with the old bag, in with the new!”
🤣
Raymond looks like Steve from blues clues
And I like how as soon as frank said I wouldn’t be caught dead with the dead lady
He realized oops
And he walked away and they all had to walk away in family shame hahaha
Tuna slop!!!
Caleb Lambright I just thought that!
I thought the same thing when he was wearing that sweater! 🤣🤣
Insane family.
Out with the old bag, in with the new!
Came here for #9 thank you lol
Love these two may they rest in peace
I love how no matter who's around Frank and Marie still argue even in front of Debra& Amy's parents.
Tuna sloop😂😂
This video forgot the big one which was when Ray and Robert did a tribute to Frank and they half-assed it and made him mad. That's when Marie and him fell out and he had to go make up later.
Dilly Dally good point
That jump Ray made.. epic. 😂
some the best written comedy ever
1:50 No! Robert should be a helicopter cop!
4:14. I don’t know why this clip wasn’t listed as #1. Honestly, Frank and Marie’s arguments are almost sort of comical, but not this one. This one really hurt. You really feel bad for Marie in the heat of the moment. And as for Frank? I thought for a second there he was going to clock Marie right in the face.
My favorite Frank and Marie moment. It brings me to tears every time I see it.
XD. The lawn. i heard that it's concept actually started in Europe and England in the Medevil times.
Then you can't give them to Goodwill! That's Bad will! XD
Frank’s attitude sure can get him into trouble embarrassing his wife and family in the process.
Who invented the lawn?? Ahahahahah ahqhahahaha brilliant!
3 shows that though the characters fought it was out of a place of love.

Frank and Marie were the most funny. Without them, this show wouldn’t have been funny. They deserve respect (May they rest in peace)🙏
From an acting standpoint, Doris and Peter were phenomenal sparring partners. Though their characters of Marie & Frank were gruff and monstrous, Doris & Peter's characterizations were wonderfully elegant like an exceptional dance between two seasoned performers. Truly masterclass in acting.
#1 Frank owns Marie that was incredible what Frank said💯
Not really. Marie had a very valid point. It's not like Frank couldn't find another container.
A motorcycle cop...with No Helmet!! Lmao
Ahahaha!! These two remind me so much of Daisy & Onslow from Keeping Up Appearances.
Reminded me at times so much of "The Mertzes" in another era in Television Land!😂📺B.W.
I have this feeling, the characters up in heaven, causing mayhem up there for everyone.
God is like every day saying 'This is hell.'
Get out of my head, woman!
@Brittany Brown Let me tell you something, Marie. I wouldn't be caught dead with Rose Capoodle!!!
Frank and Marie were crazy and funny
It’s a miracle they haven’t killed each other yet or divorced 🤣
0:03 George Washington invented the lawn.
Now theyre arguing in heaven
2:15 don’t tell me ray is transitioning from comedian to new blues clues host
0:03 I know who invented the Lawn, Lawns similar to those of today first appeared in France and England in the 1700s when André Le Nôtre designed the gardens of the Palace of Versailles that included a small area of grass called the tapis vert, or "green carpet".
They remind me of my mum and dad in a way, they were constantly bickering, but thats just how they were, my mum died 7 yrs ago and my dad is still completely lost without her 💔
My parents godbless em! Were worse than those two in real life! LoL 😂❤
These were my paternal grandparents!
God, I miss this show...
