These vehicles are amazing. Some of the most modified JGTC cars before they went tube frame. You could probably do a road legal conversion relatively easily
Interesting that both engines are (rb26) but use rb20/25 series 1 cam covers and rb20 timing gear cover I wonder why they decided not to use rb26dett covers
@@mattl1962 Well, at least until 2002, these cars still had factory chassis rails at the front. So I wouldn't be surprised at this point in JGTC they had to keep the factory struct towers. The way the car has been constructed suggests that perhaps the teams weren't allowed to weld new mounting points to the chassis. So they bolted them on instead it seems. Although by the time the R34 GTR came about none of that mattered anyway since the cars were semi tube frames.
I'm addicted to this kind of old racecars. I really wanted to own one when i grow up.
This footage is a pure gold ,
Awesome isn’t it. Wish I could find more, but this alone took years lol

Thank you so much for sharing and preserving this piece of motorsport history :)
I was amazed I found it. I’d expect there’s more but so far I’ve had no luck hunting it down.
The bgm is perfect, gt2 vibes.
I wish I'd found this video before I made my 1/24 Calsonic replica. Great details.
Lovely Vintage Quality
Very cool, thanks
The nissans have different aero packages / body kits while the toyotas are the same
man, such beauties....
This will give you ideas about your car
All the best ideas come from race cars. Though most I can’t afford lol

Good spot! And no idea, worth looking at
Nice video 🤌🏾
Stav you can check overboostracings channel he just posted some porting of a volvo EVO head, I suppose you like that stuff thought I´d mention
That turbo plate thing was that a restriction plate or something?
Yep
Would wanna buy the body kit for the road going car
They all look different
5:09, I dread to think what that suspension mount cost back then.
I’m surprised it wasn’t mounted to a central tube frame chassis and just bolted onto the chassis like the stock GTR

New project? 😜
