Pr.incorporated he’s still getting money. He wasn’t fired from nick. He left, the company and him mutually severed ties, but still gets money from his shows being on air (with reruns and Henry danger still on air). He has not had any charges pressed against him either . He got off with no consequences and still makes money we need to talk about him more to hopefully pressure nick into not giving him anymore money, they’ve been protecting him for years.

Abby Kelly - yeah I almost mentioned the mental health issue as it would be about a year before her massive public breakdown also the fact that her younger sister was involved would affect her reaction. This was also around the time of her divorce and when she drove with her child in her lap and was reamed by the public. I wasn’t saying Britney was completely in the wrong but it sure as hell was not the right reaction to a 13 year old. It really, really doesn't....but some people think that it takes more effort and would only be kind if they get something in return. These may be the same people who think that it's fun or they'll become respected if they were bullies instead. This world needs more empathy, and more people should show it even if they don't anything back.

I saw that video of Alexa Nikolas speaking out last year. To be honest, I did find Nicole annoying as hell and too boy crazy when I was a kid. I didn’t know she was being bullied behind scenes. aftereverett I’ve always preached about this but Alexa was actually offered the lead role in Wizards of Waverly Place before Selena Gomez and I wonder how differently her career would’ve gone. She was definitely in the Disney atmosphere, playing Chelsea in Suite Life & being best friends with Vanessa Hudgens at the time. Don’t get me wrong, she’s been in a ton of good shows like Supernatural, The Walking Dead and Mad Men. I wish she would continue acting, I miss seeing her on screen!

Still, I’m aware that unfortunately age wouldn’t save anyone from abusive work environments and it needs to be brought to light but, it’s better to keep kids away from situations such as that, since they’re more fragile against situations like that.

oooh19 I’m sorry but most of the cases I’ve seen of bulling were towards mentally challenged kids, no one liked them, they had no friends, yet they were never the problem, the bullies were 🤷♀️🤷♀️ there are many factors behind someone having no friends (shyness, anxiety, social awkwardness) and unlikeability is very rarely one of them. Even the most unlikeable kinds of people are able to have friends. I just find the “if you get bullied maybe you are the problem” an excuse to deflect the blame from the perpetrators, it implies they were “asking for it”

Many who entered motherhood in their teens will tell you it was one of the best things to happen to them. The wording here makes it sound like it's an inherently bad thing. I hate how so many people are saying that if no one really got along with Alexa then it was her fault. If you have a bunch of preteens/teens choosing between Jamie Lynn Spears (little sister of the most well-known pop star at that time) vs. Alexa (someone who wasn't really known before Zoey 101 nor had a famous family member), of course they are going to choose Jamie's side over Alexa's, even if Jamie was to blame. Jamie was probably the biggest bully, but would the others admit that then? No because all they were seeing was that she was Brittany Spears' sister. And they are definitely not going to say anything now because all of their careers have gone downhill after Zoey 101. So if they speak out and agree with Alexa, they'd be losing their meal tickets from this TRASH reboot that they desperately need.
They didn't along with her because they were scared of Jamie. She was the head mean girl that everyone was scared to stand up to or fall victim to her bullying themselves. As a result, they all bent over to kiss Jamie's buttcrack and follow whatever she does instead of thinking for themselves. The other casts were weak in the sense that they couldn't say "no" to Jamie. Who knows!!!! Jamie probably would've been "cool" with Alexa had she agreed to suck up to Jamie and kiss her ass too. But unlike the others, she was strong enough to NOT do that and think for herself.

Lilothestitch I guess it makes Nickelodeon look better. I had a situation where I quit my job but somehow it started going around that I was “terminated”...I made sure to write a lengthy google review for those imbeciles clearing that I quit and why I quit (unprofessionalism).
Even as a kid I never liked her character. Boring show. Nickelodeon was always boring all the shows sucked ass. I fucking hated spongebob but it was bareable, Good burger was good. But overall most of the shows were boring, especially the reality TV ones with exceptions of Sam and Cat, ICarly, etc.
Jamie used was so pretty when she was younger as a teenager. She's now like 30 or close to it, and looks like she's 45, very sad. Not saying that Jamie is ugly now, just saying that she didn't age well at all. The fame she had was mainly for being Brittany's little sister, and playing her role Zoey on Zoey101. This only boosted her shitty ego and got to her head over the years. Keep in mind that being a celebrity doesn't age you well at all. Alot of the kid celebs or almost all the big celebs in Hollywood, are known to have or have had drug addiction related problems at least once. Because of how fucked up and stressful the industry is, or from trauma they had as kids.

Yep, I've been in that exact position before - the "popular" girl in a new school just decided she didn't like me and would be completely awful to me in class, even told a boy on our class table to touch me up on my leg and of course I told him to get off/shoved his hand off and then they both called me frigid, and then a whole separate situation the lead girl in my group made a rumour I was a lesbian, then all the other girls decided I'd be out of the group - turned out this lead girl was the lesbian all along and wanted to get closer to my closest friend. I'd ended up eating lunch alone a lot of the time and joining the chess club, which was pretty chill to be honest.
Girl I was a loner in high school. I wasn’t completely cut off I still talked and interacted I was just a private person ( or an introvert who liked being around extroverts ) but one day this obnoxious person asked why I was so quiet and shy and I replied “ I’m not quiet I’m just watching your messy ass”☕️

Men this story brought up my bad memories when i went to school when i was 11/12. Its the worst feeling ever and such memories can haunt you forever. Im 27 and when I think of those memories I can still cry about it.
I take that Britney at the time was suffered at the hands of her own 00s trauma with thr paparazzi and media backlash. She was at a very low place and hit rock bottom and began taking it on others. Still no excuse for her behavior but I feel that has a lot to do with it.

It’s sick to hear that a grown woman lashing out on a child for no reason and Nickelodeon and Dan Schneider did nothing hurts because like you and others I watched Nickelodeon growing up but a lot of these popular Hollywood companies don’t care about the actors, especially children I hope dan Schneider gets exposed one day

Thank you so so much for talking about this!! Damn this was hard as hell to watch. It was just as hard when I saw Alexa talk about it in the Instagram livestream she did a long time ago, since similar to what you said, I growing up had experiences that were very similar to her. Not in reference to acting since I haven't done such, though in school and online, having been both bullied (read: verbally, emotionally and mentally abused) by peers as well as groomed by p*dophiles. The follower mentality I've seen people play into is so horrendous, I have been both on the receiving end of it as well as having witnessed other people be on the receiving end and have stuck up for them. I got questions from classmates in late middle school/early high school asking me why I would "put myself into the line of fire" like that since it's like "putting a target on my back" and my answer has always been that I was just doing what anyone should do, since I refuse to be complicit in harming someone like that at all, when I am clearly in a position to do something about it. I experienced similar things in shelters within the past year as well and thankfully those situations had been reported and done with. It landed me in the hospital for a month. I look back at this situation and can't help but think of all of those things because every time I saw Alexa on screen growing up, I couldn't quite put my finger on why, but I always saw so much of myself in her. When I was a kid growing up and didn't know anything about this, I watched Zoey 101 for Nicole & I kept watching the second half (seasons 3 & 4). In the first episode of season 3, Zoey was telling Lola why Nicole switched schools ("obsessive male gender disorder" 🙄) & said it was "just temporary" which made me think she would be back at some point & was just taking a break for school or something. Come to find out this wasn't the case and I was both confused and disillusioned when the series finished and she was just... elsewhere. It got me curious and so I looked into it (by this point I was halfway done with high school & was about 15-16), and I ended up seeing rumors about this which unfortunately turned out to be true. Its honestly... sobering. I am so so proud of Alexa for speaking up. I can't imagine how hard this has been on her; especially since we already know she alluded to Dan Schneider having done much worse to her behind closed doors. Considering how people have claimed he is a p*dophile (which I figure has honestly been proven by this point; I honestly have no reason to "not believe" in it and it's good that trash has been fired and everything honestly)... I just really wish all the safety and peace for Alexa. I hear she is pregnant now by a loving partner she has been with for some time now!!!! I wish all the absolute best for her family!!!! I have heard about the reboot since hearing Alexa tell her story and in all honesty, its sad to say honestly, but no, I do not think I will be watching it. Considering the context, Sean, Victoria and even Britney seemed misguided and seem like down to earth people with good hearts; they definitely made their mistakes which I don't excuse, but it does seem to me that they have grown from it. (Also BRITNEY DESERVES TO BE FREE which is a completely different topic though still.) Aside from them and Alexa though... I honestly don't like or trust the rest of the cast. Although I was never a fan of Zoey 101 nor the cast members, after hearing this heartbreaking story, I high wish that Alexa's career would have sky rocketed to the same level as Ariana Grande. That would make Jamie, and everyone look stupid and be completely jealous and petty that she became 10x more successful then they did and she'd get the last laugh.
If I’m remembering correctly the girl that played Dana was a few years older than the rest of the cast-if the rest of the cast were 14 in season 1, the actress that played Dana was probably 16-17 if I’m remembering correctly? But still had a baby face and could pass off as 14. Then by season 2 she must have looked significantly older. It would kind of mess up continuity to have the rest of the cast as the actual age they’re portraying, while one member looks older than the rest even tho they’re all supposed to be around the same age.

I feel like there are so many shows where the teens don’t get along. I think there should be a mediator on set as soon as problems start occurring between teen/tween cast mates. I feel like adults look at bullying as something that can only happen at schools or by online trolls, but it can really happen anywhere. If there was a mediator who specialized in therapy or anything like that, they could establish a type of agreement where the tormentor can understand that what they are doing is harassment. As well as have the mediator check up on the actors involved to make sure nothing like what happened to Alexus happens. It’s just sick to think all these adults just stepped back as this girl was getting tormented and harassed.
Yes. Of course, harassments, micro aggressions and bullying will and still happen in adults work environment too but I feel it is scarier when it's just teens/children. Especially those around middle school ages. I don't know why, they just are scarier and meaner to me. I feel the mob mentality and the desire to fit in is so much stronger around that age, that they would just gang up and attack anyone that's already being bullied by a popular figure; without really thinking much. And since their actions came from imitation or the desire to fit in, they would probably find it harder to see any wrongs in it (it's like 'everyone else is doing it, so why can't I')

When Alexa spoke about them making fun of her for being to nice and smiling to much it hit me so hard. I work in retail and a group of girls took the same issues with me. One in particular is just don’t right nasty to me for no reason. I’ve worked there for Over a year now and from the tome I started she was just plain rude to me. I’ve overheard the group having so many conversations about me that hurt so much that I’ve went home and cried. Being made fun of for being nice and smiling makes you question yourself in such an unhealthy way. I wasn’t trying to be anyone’s best friend, I just went in with the mindset that “we’re all adults and everyone will be cordial and respectful” Sadly it seems some people never grow out of the clique mentality.
Angry, insecure, and incompetent people will always hate on happy and nice people who are well-liked and have it all together. They below everyone else and want to bring others down to that level.
Nicole (Alexa) was always my favourite, seemed so bubbly and genuine, once she was off the show something felt off, I stopped watching mostly after that.
I think this is why I developed a general discomfort for teen shows like Glee and Degrassi even as a teenager. I didn't even know this was going on but I had a general gut feeling about Dan's shows even if some of them made up my childhood.
Even as a preteen I got weird and unpleasant vibes for her. She came off as that fake conceited girl who everyone hates b/c she's stuck up and thinks she's better than everyone.

I'm glad she left the show. She was getting bullied and hated on by the cast and crew and when it comes to bullying it can leave a long lasting affect on the victim. She made the right choice to leave the show because why would you stay where all the negativity and hate is taking place? At least Shawn stayed as her friend, but the least he could've done was defend her. I'm not calling him a bad person for not doing that, but I'm just saying. She definitely deserved better than to have gotten bullied. I've been there before to where it made me want to commit suicide. this hit close to home because i was in alexa's position when i was in 4th-5th grade. there were these "popular girls" that bullied me relentlessly and it started because i wouldn't let one of them copy my test answers. after i got 100 and she got a low score, the bullying began. they would steal my belongings, causing my mom to have to buy me school notebooks and pencils over multiple times. it sucked because i had made a friend with this one girl and these bullies would talk badly about me and it cause this girl to never speak to me again and she joined in on the bullying. at one time, the main bully would pretend to be my friend to get information out of me and then she would tell everyone everything i confided in her with. they would also pull pranks on me like cutting a hole in my pants when i wasn't looking and telling everyone to look at my panties. my ex friend invited every girl in class to a sleep over except me. this went on for like 2 years and i was so traumatized that my parents pulled me out of school and homeschooled me for a year. i'll never forget their names and i'm 20 years old now.
SSG (Seven Super Girls( was a youtube channel associated with 8 girls. (There was 8 because 2 were sisters, also all minors.) SSG is part of the SAK’s channels. The SAK channels had a bunch of girls like: Seven Awesome Kids, Seven Cool Tweens, Seven Perfect Angels, and more. 7-8 in each and they were all minors. (SSG is the most popular one.) Their channel had a youtube theme every week like Baby Sitter, Dancer, Freestyle, Challenge, and more. They seemed out fine for 4 years until one of the girls were touched innapropriate by the owner. Who turns out to be an old man who only got a month sentence. RUclips decided to delete all of the channels because of that and I really miss that. Because even as a guy, I would watch then because they would sometimes teach us life lessons. So in conclusion: SSG is a deleted youtube channel who had 10 million subscribers that got taken down by RUclips for the horrible thing that happened to one of the girls.
The rumors about Dan being the father of jamies first kid makes this all more dark sided bc if its true he probly the reason alexa was being abused in the first place :^( victims often defend and trust their abusers bc they're being manipulated so we got dan over here allowing this lil ass girl to be bullied meanwhile hes over there grooming and manipulating her bully? Thats nasty af plus Alexa mom was v involved w her life so he probably was mad as hell he couldn't abuse her the way he could his other female stars n lowkey encourages them to bully her
Perhaps he tried putting moves on Alexa. Jamie’s brainwashed by Dan for the fame and success. So Alexa came to Jamie to confide in her about what happened. Maybe in Jamie’s head getting propositioned for sex by a producer is like a sign of working towards spotlight. So she felt threatened and did everything in her power to get her booted or scare her off the show altogether.
I've been in that position way too many times. It is also annoying when there is a bratty little girl who treats others badly and has an older sister backing them up. This hit home for me, every scenario.
this hurts my heart so much, her character was so sweet and nice too, and now knowing what happened behind the scenes between them really changes my perspective in a way. i knew about dan. but not so much the backstory for zoey 101. ugh i feel so bad for her.
I wonder if Shaun ever shared any inside info he might have had with Alexa. If he was friendly with the cast surely he must’ve heard SOMETHING or knew why they didn’t like her?

aftereverett I’ve always preached about this but Alexa was actually offered the lead role in Wizards of Waverly Place before Selena Gomez and I wonder how differently her career would’ve gone. She was definitely in the Disney atmosphere, playing Chelsea in Suite Life & being best friends with Vanessa Hudgens at the time. Don’t get me wrong, she’s been in a ton of good shows like Supernatural, The Walking Dead and Mad Men. I wish she would continue acting, I miss seeing her on screen!

Even as a kid I never liked her character. Boring show. Nickelodeon was always boring all the shows sucked ass. I fucking hated spongebob but it was bareable, Good burger was good. But overall most of the shows were boring, especially the reality TV ones with exceptions of Sam and Cat, ICarly, etc.

Jamie used was so pretty when she was younger as a teenager. She's now like 30 or close to it, and looks like she's 45, very sad. Not saying that Jamie is ugly now, just saying that she didn't age well at all. The fame she had was mainly for being Brittany's little sister, and playing her role Zoey on Zoey101. This only boosted her shitty ego and got to her head over the years. Keep in mind that being a celebrity doesn't age you well at all. Alot of the kid celebs or almost all the big celebs in Hollywood, are known to have or have had drug addiction related problems at least once. Because of how fucked up and stressful the industry is, or from trauma they had as kids.

Yep, I've been in that exact position before - the "popular" girl in a new school just decided she didn't like me and would be completely awful to me in class, even told a boy on our class table to touch me up on my leg and of course I told him to get off/shoved his hand off and then they both called me frigid, and then a whole separate situation the lead girl in my group made a rumour I was a lesbian, then all the other girls decided I'd be out of the group - turned out this lead girl was the lesbian all along and wanted to get closer to my closest friend. I'd ended up eating lunch alone a lot of the time and joining the chess club, which was pretty chill to be honest.

It was just as hard when I saw Alexa talk about it in the Instagram livestream she did a long time ago, since similar to what you said, I growing up had experiences that were very similar to her. Not in reference to acting since I haven't done such, though in school and online, having been both bullied (read: verbally, emotionally and mentally abused) by peers as well as groomed by p*dophiles.
The follower mentality I've seen people play into is so horrendous, I have been both on the receiving end of it as well as having witnessed other people be on the receiving end and have stuck up for them. I got questions from classmates in late middle school/early high school asking me why I would "put myself into the line of fire" like that since it's like "putting a target on my back" and my answer has always been that I was just doing what anyone should do, since I refuse to be complicit in harming someone like that at all, when I am clearly in a position to do something about it.
I experienced similar things in shelters within the past year as well and thankfully those situations had been reported and done with. It landed me in the hospital for a month. I look back at this situation and can't help but think of all of those things because every time I saw Alexa on screen growing up, I couldn't quite put my finger on why, but I always saw so much of myself in her. When I was a kid growing up and didn't know anything about this, I watched Zoey 101 for Nicole & I kept watching the second half (seasons 3 & 4).
In the first episode of season 3, Zoey was telling Lola why Nicole switched schools ("obsessive male gender disorder" 🙄) & said it was "just temporary" which made me think she would be back at some point & was just taking a break for school or something. Come to find out this wasn't the case and I was both confused and disillusioned when the series finished and she was just... elsewhere. It got me curious and so I looked into it (by this point I was halfway done with high school & was about 15-16), and I ended up seeing rumors about this which unfortunately turned out to be true. Its honestly... sobering.
I am so so proud of Alexa for speaking up. I can't imagine how hard this has been on her; especially since we already know she alluded to Dan Schneider having done much worse to her behind closed doors. Considering how people have claimed he is a p*dophile (which I figure has honestly been proven by this point; I honestly have no reason to "not believe" in it and it's good that trash has been fired and everything honestly)... I just really wish all the safety and peace for Alexa. I hear she is pregnant now by a loving partner she has been with for some time now!!!! I wish all the absolute best for her family!!!!
I have heard about the reboot since hearing Alexa tell her story and in all honesty, its sad to say honestly, but no, I do not think I will be watching it. Considering the context, Sean, Victoria and even Britney seemed misguided and seem like down to earth people with good hearts; they definitely made their mistakes which I don't excuse, but it does seem to me that they have grown from it. (Also BRITNEY DESERVES TO BE FREE which is a completely different topic though still.) Aside from them and Alexa though... I honestly don't like or trust the rest of the cast. I swear I don't intend to be black and white about any of it, though considering the way they (especially Jaime and ESPECIALLY Kristin) treated her is just... all kinds of disgusting. My stomach was in knots the first time I heard about it. I don't blame Alexa for not joining the sequel and I wish her well. If I’m remembering correctly the girl that played Dana was a few years older than the rest of the cast-if the rest of the cast were 14 in season 1, the actress that played Dana was probably 16-17 if I’m remembering correctly? But still had a baby face and could pass off as 14. Then by season 2 she must have looked significantly older. It would kind of mess up continuity to have the rest of the cast as the actual age they’re portraying, while one member looks older than the rest even tho they’re all supposed to be around the same age.

I feel like there are so many shows where the teens don’t get along. I think there should be a mediator on set as soon as problems start occurring between teen/tween cast mates. I feel like adults look at bullying as something that can only happen at schools or by online trolls, but it can really happen anywhere. If there was a mediator who specialized in therapy or anything like that, they could establish a type of agreement where the tormentor can understand that what they are doing is harassment. As well as have the mediator check up on the actors involved to make sure nothing like what happened to Alexus happens. It’s just sick to think all these adults just stepped back as this girl was getting tormented and harassed.

Yes. Of course, harassments, micro aggressions and bullying will and still happen in adults work environment too but I feel it is scarier when it's just teens/children. Especially those around middle school ages. I don't know why, they just are scarier and meaner to me. I feel the mob mentality and the desire to fit in is so much stronger around that age, that they would just gang up and attack anyone that's already being bullied by a popular figure; without really thinking much. And since their actions came from imitation or the desire to fit in, they would probably find it harder to see any wrongs in it (it's like 'everyone else is doing it, so why can't I')

When Alexa spoke about them making fun of her for being to nice and smiling to much it hit me so hard. I work in retail and a group of girls took the same issues with me. One in particular is just don’t right nasty to me for no reason. I’ve worked there for Over a year now and from the tome I started she was just plain rude to me. I’ve overheard the group having so many conversations about me that hurt so much that I’ve went home and cried. Being made fun of for being nice and smiling makes you question yourself in such an unhealthy way. I wasn’t trying to be anyone’s best friend, I just went in with the mindset that “we’re all adults and everyone will be cordial and respectful”
Sadly it seems some people never grow out of the clique mentality.
Angry, insecure, and incompetent people will always hate on happy and nice people who are well-liked and have it all together. They below everyone else and want to bring others down to that level.

Nicole (Alexa) was always my favourite, seemed so bubbly and genuine, once she was off the show something felt off, I stopped watching mostly after that.
I think this is why I developed a general discomfort for teen shows like Glee and Degrassi even as a teenager. I didn't even know this was going on but I had a general gut feeling about Dan's shows even if some of them made up my childhood.

I'm glad she left the show. She was getting bullied and hated on by the cast and crew and when it comes to bullying it can leave a long lasting affect on the victim. She made the right choice to leave the show because why would you stay where all the negativity and hate is taking place? At least Shawn stayed as her friend, but the least he could've done was defend her. I'm not calling him a bad person for not doing that, but I'm just saying. She definitely deserved better than to have gotten bullied. I've been there before to where it made me want to commit suicide. this hit close to home because i was in alexa's position when i was in 4th-5th grade. there were these "popular girls" that bullied me relentlessly and it started because i wouldn't let one of them copy my test answers. after i got 100 and she got a low score, the bullying began. they would steal my belongings, causing my mom to have to buy me school notebooks and pencils over multiple times. it sucked because i had made a friend with this one girl and these bullies would talk badly about me and it cause this girl to never speak to me again and she joined in on the bullying. at one time, the main bully would pretend to be my friend to get information out of me and then she would tell everyone everything i confided in her with. they would also pull pranks on me like cutting a hole in my pants when i wasn't looking and telling everyone to look at my panties. my ex friend invited every girl in class to a sleep over except me. this went on for like 2 years and i was so traumatized that my parents pulled me out of school and homeschooled me for a year. i'll never forget their names and i'm 20 years old now.

SSG (Seven Super Girls( was a youtube channel associated with 8 girls. (There was 8 because 2 were sisters, also all minors.)
SSG is part of the SAK’s channels. The SAK channels had a bunch of girls like: Seven Awesome Kids, Seven Cool Tweens, Seven Perfect Angels, and more. 7-8 in each and they were all minors. (SSG is the most popular one.)
Their channel had a youtube theme every week like Baby Sitter, Dancer, Freestyle, Challenge, and more.
They seemed out fine for 4 years until one of the girls were touched innapropriate by the owner. Who turns out to be an old man who only got a month sentence.
RUclips decided to delete all of the channels because of that and I really miss that. Because even as a guy, I would watch then because they would sometimes teach us life lessons.
So in conclusion: SSG is a deleted youtube channel who had 10 million subscribers that got taken down by RUclips for the horrible thing that happened to one of the girls.

Perhaps he tried putting moves on Alexa. Jamie’s brainwashed by Dan for the fame and success. So Alexa came to Jamie to confide in her about what happened. Maybe in Jamie’s head getting propositioned for sex by a producer is like a sign of working towards spotlight. So she felt threatened and did everything in her power to get her booted or scare her off the show altogether.
I've been in that position way too many times. It is also annoying when there is a bratty little girl who treats others badly and has an older sister backing them up. This hit home for me, every scenario.
