I bet that Matt Bennett must have been really uncomfortable having to act like such a total creep. What I hate is when I see Matt’s face, all I see is Robbie, although I don’t think that Matt is anything like Robbie. That’s one of the things I hate about having bad characters like Robbie, whatever actor is playing the role of such a annoying and creepy character, their face gets associated with them.

I thought that part of the joke around Rex was that he actually wasn't Robbie? Like there were scenes where he talked while completely disconnected from Robbie, I'm pretty sure I remember there being a whole episode where he wasn't connected. I'm sorry if I'm wrong, I haven't watched that show in quite a while, but hounestly I've just been really confused this whole time because I thought one of the jokes of the show was that Rex legit wasn't Robbie
As a kid, a part of me thought Rex was actually a separate person, a part from Robbie. But now as an adult, it’s clear that Robbie controlled Rex because Rex is a puppet. What Rex said is a reflection of what Robbie believes in and the show tried to play it off that it wasn’t. When you start to think about it, Robbie is actually a disgusting character (not the actor)
Right people forget what a alter ego is, a alter ego or alternate personality is basically a part of person that is afraid to do it as themselves and it helps them be more confidence and open about their complex personalities. That’s why Beyoncé had the Sasha fierce alter ego bc it gave her more confidence and fearless energy when on stage and once she completed it, she killed the Sasha fierce alter ego and became her own person
I was old enough to know that, irl, Rex would be a puppet being completely controlled by Robbie's will, but I figured that since this was a work of fiction that meant Rex could actually be a distinct individual in his own right.
You read my mind. It honestly made more sense to me that Rex was actually possessed than Robbie being a daily ventriloquist when I was a kid. Until this video, I still was skeptical because of how the show portrayed Rex.
I’m glad he got the most screen time of all the male characters. I never shipped Tori and Andre romantically because I liked their friendship too much; it was the best part of the show.
More importantly IMO, it pushes the narrative that creeps should be “given a chance,” and their misogyny (sexual harassment and entitlement especially) should be ignored and excused.
@@Movieslurge2 yeah because those nerdy, quiet guys usually are incel creeps and the world hates girls that reject them because they’re supposed to “give them a chance” so I agree.
as a nerdy quiet guy (who is also trans but idk how much impact that has on this) currently not being a creep, currently actually just making myself tea
I *HATED* Robbie, he was sooo annoying. I got extremely mad in that one episode where they tried to save Tori from jail and he electrocuted that kings fish. Then they all got arrested.
I mean that was just an idiotic accident to me, but his character just gave me an awkward vibe...I didn’t understand how everybody was so comfortable around him
In real life I also feel like he would have no friends, like who wants to be friends with the weird awkward kid who talks crap about his friends and blames it on a puppet.
He's probably a MGTOW now, because I like to imagine that he's a divorcee. Then again, all MGTOW would have been incels if they had more internet access as kids. 🤢🤢🤢
Right ! I always new Rex was a puppet but it never dawned on me that Robbie was secretly a shitty person ,I don’t think anyone in the show ever calls him out for it.this is groundbreaking to my inner 13 year old.
@@janiahpapaya5988 YES I always did that!!! Hearing her explain robbie makes it much harder to feel sympathy when robbie ever gets bullied or feels insecure
Something I realised is Robbie and Sinjin are essentially the same person just to different extremes. Sinjin makes me nauseous but he never actually harmed a person. Their both weird, creepy and have stalked one of the girls. How has no one called the police on them?
I agree. I could be wrong but I feel like at least Sinjin was supposed to be gross . N at least he didnt end up with anyone so the show didn't reward him for being creepy like it did with Robbie.
Nah Sinjin did pretty of creepy stuff. He followed girls in multiple episodes. He would continue to badger girls who didn't like him. And in the "Wifi in the sky" episode he was in Jade's house without her permission. So Sinjin, Robbie, Harvey Weinstien, Mr. Schuster( from Glee), and Bill Cosby can all be in the same cell for all I care.
Robbie shows signs of being an Internet troll. He uses a conduit to express the worst and least acceptable parts of himself. If Rex actually died, he might have been forced to learn how to treat people better
This is a really good point. I do wonder what would have happened if Rex had actually died, I was hoping that Robbie would have to come to terms with himself. He needed help, but this show portrays mental help horribly. I can't remember the episode name or anything, but I remember when Cat was put into a padded cell and had foam shapes put on her hands so she wouldn't hurt herself, and she was oblivious as to what was happening. She clearly showed no signs of being a danger to herself or others, yet was placed in a cell. Going by that logic, I doubt that Robbie would be able to get actual, good mental help in-universe. It's a shame.
@@drfifteenmd7561 well he should go to therepy. I like supporting people with mental health problems but I dont get that vibe from Robbie at all. He is just a pervert
Matt Bennett played himself in that episode he didn’t portray “Robbie Shapiro” so by extension that wasn’t Robbie and Rex, it was Matt and a prop from a show he used to be on
She was on the way to becoming a better person She seems to have had anger and abandonment issues And it seems like she didn't even want friends ...she could be helped Robbie ...he seeme like he would mansplain how it's actually okay if he got called out or would start being violent in sneaky ways
@@lunarialoonatic Yeah I know she was annoying, but then her parents always talked about giving her away. She could have borderline abandonment issues and be clingy as a result. But Trina still a queena 😍
The thing about Rex, I can see people arguing that he's playing a character, but Rex isn't a character. They established that he had Rex to build up confidence, so what Rex says is what Robbie is too afraid to say "from his own mouth". Whatever Rex says is what Robbie is thinking. He managed to build up a wall between himself and his puppet to the audience and the other characters, so he could say whatever he wanted and pass it off as Rex. p.s. Thank you for making the content you do! I can't always watch all the way through but you help me realize that these things need to be talked about more -3
Honestly, Rex should've stayed killed off; that way Robbie could've actually grown as a character instead of, you know, pretending to be the punching bag to his puppet which... I'm sorry; it ain't original. Jeff Dunham, for example, has been doing that with Peanut for over thirty years.
By using the ventriloquist puppet as an evil alter ego, and a mob hate campaign against Barney the Dinosaur, Jeff Dunham, Dan Schneider, and Shari Lewis undid a positive legacy put forth by Paul Winchell and Willie Tyler.
It genuinely makes me feel uncomfortable when I see people ignoring Robbie's creepy manipulative behavior and blaming it on Rex when he's the one controlling the puppet.
I used to think Cat was annoying but I actually feel so bad for her now because the show mentioned it happened multiple times even when she said no. That’s disgusting.
@@jungkodd in my opinion I think he means he pressured her into doing “something” when she said no but it could mean anything tbh but coming from Robbie I already know it means something bad
The reason Robbie has a lot of stans is no different than girls clustering around and protecting that week nerdy boy out of pity. Like no lie I HAD girls repeatedly interrogate me for rejecting some dude invite to a dance. I JUST LEARNED HE EXISTED WHEN HE ASKED ME TO THAT DANCE! Why tf would I go with him! Plus it was on a friday for the weekend I spend with my dad and He picks me up on friday nights. I explained that to them and that wasn’t good enough they tried emotionally manipulating me saying “you hurt his feelings, you made him cry”.....i really didn't care...I didn’t his name...I didn’t know he existed....

@@eph_loves_80s74 lmao I was being sarcastic and you didn’t have to reply to me. I know what the other characters did but Robbie tried to kill Trina and I just think that’s messed up. If you don’t think something’s wrong with that, then something must be wrong with you.
I remember in kindergarten this boy liked me and I didn’t like him. He would hit on me and one time at the parent conference he made a kissy face to me. He would right my name on his papers and lie about it when I told on him. To this day I took it as a joke but he got suspended like everyday after that.
After Victorious was put on Netflix I realized almost all of the characters kind of suck, either on purpose or by accident. The only genuinely kind characters are Andre and Tori(despite the fandom response)
Andre was the only character I ever liked. He was so unproblematic and always stayed out of drama (unless he was dragged into it or involved one of his wack girlfriends).
Yeah cat, Andre and tori are my favorite characters I feel the hate tori gets overrated and is more deserving to the other characters (mainly Robbie, beck and espacially jade) and Trina was straight annoying
I think the reason why characters like Robbie and Jade get slack is because of the fact that the actors are great (We Stan Elizabeth Gillies, Matt Bennet, and Daniella Monet). So since the actors are great most fans just excuse the horrible behavior of the characters.
Or because the annoying laughtrack is there like my mom (who is an immigrant who most of the time doesn't speak english) always found the laughtrack as not funny because she saw how bad some of these situations are and they just weren't funny. Like I remember her once being very grossed out and told my sister to turn off the tv when she saw the Victorious prom episode because it really was gross now looking back
@Tanacia Karim yeah people say that was him saying his insecurities or something but honestly it didn’t feel that way to me... I mean it felt like he did have some insecurity issues... but it didn’t excuse some of the things he’s done
If we are going for the actors in real life, Matt wasn’t actually voicing Rex, he said someone did a voice over and they made him move his mouth a little bit so it seemed like he was the one voicing it, he can’t actually do the voice
Robbie was a whole incel UGH. Him as an adult probably calls women "females" and is terrified of being seen as a "beta male" lmfao. I feel like he fetishized Tori and Trina since they were the only WOC he was close to, and thought they were easy because they were Latina... I was so disgusted when he forced himself on Trina like wtf is wrong with him. Also how he chased Cat was straight up predatory. I can see how the main group felt bad for him but they enabled his foolishness way too much. I didn't fully understand that Rex is literally just Robbie's mouthpiece until I became an adult and looking back at all the crap that he got away with is disturbing idk how people still defend his actions.
@@probablykillua4680 Yes. Their dad is supposed to be Latino. I'm surprised no one is talking about the episode where Robbie was threatened to being kicked off the newspaper club, and he started his own paparazzi news vlog and ended up betraying all of his friends and exposing their private lives just for a slice of popularity. That was the single episode that showed me Robbie's true nature, and made me officially hate him as a character.
i always hated how the show treated rex as his own character so that robbie could still be “the nice guy”. i always had nerdy “nice boys” hitting on me in high school bc i was a nerd too and robbie reminded me of that. he used rex as an outlet to say all the inappropriate shit that was on his mind the same way those guys used “memes” and “jokes” to say things abt my body.
thus boy is THE worst character in Victorious....no the worst character in EVERY SINGLE SHOW OUT THERE he gets on my nerves sooooooo much!!!! and the great thing is, you posted when my class just ended :)
For real I never understood how people didn't realize that robbie and rex were the same person, meaning that robbie made all of those rude and creepy comments towards everyone.
I mean Trina is also not in the clear either since she was VERY persistent with Beck. Making him uncomfortable and lowkey harassing him. But other than that she’s fine ig.
I don’t know if you noticed this but you said that Tori and her friends “tolerate Robbie” and Jade said the same exact thing in that episode where Beck and Jade broke up at Tori’s house. Jade said “Tori is not my friend, no one likes Trina, I tolerate Robbie, and Cat is just basically a pet.”
Also, at 13:40 it's clear that Dan had this thing for Ariana when SHE WAS A MINOR. And would consistently put her in creepy situations with Robbie. To Dan, Robbie was a self-insert. She's consistently put in lewd positions onscreen (being sat on, feet scenes) and plays the "innocent schoolgirl trope" it's really nasty ngl.
I'm going to be honest, I do not like Dan Schinder's shows in general. In my opinion his shows are literally the same, the mean-spirited, nerd picking, bland lead female protagonist, bossy mean girls, toxic relationship (Mark x Quinn, Freddie x Sam and Beck x Jade) I don't understand why people love Dan's shows so much, when I was younger I used to love those shows, but I realized how I didn't like the writing and the characters. Pls don't hate me not liking his shows, I'm just speaking my honest opinion. Congrats on 40k
Am I the only that feels kinda sad for Robbie? Yes I understand that he's done a bunch of creepy/pervy things, and don't even get me started on that one episode where he had lifelike card-board cut-outs of Cat! But he's clearly a very mentally disturbed minor who is receiving no help from anyone in his life despite it being blaringly obvious to everyone he has a problem. They even encourage it instead! Remember that episode where Tori accidentally 'killed' Rex? Robbie was in shambles AND it was the first time his core group of friends recognized how inappropriate Robbie's relationship with Rex is. But Tori still insisted that they keep Rex 'alive' and refused to see everyone else's side of things. It's also very disturbing to me how Robbie CANNOT grasp onto the fact that Rex is not a real person and constantly puts himself down via Rex. This is a huge sign to me that emotional, and possibly physical, abuse is going on in the home. And I'm also pretty sure it's a normal thing for neglected children to escape into their own reality, Robbie's weird/sad/bizarre reality with Rex is his (and remember Robbie has said his parents don't like him). IDK if anyone else agrees but that's just me. \(0.0)/.
I meant we didn’t see Robbie, becks, or Andres parents... I don’t think cat was abused. I think she has trauma from her brother because her brother is obviously mentally ill and the parents most likely paid more attention to that. But we never see any of the kids at home. Well, we seen beck but that was his trailer.
We partially see Andres House too with his grandma but I see your point when it comes to the guys. Its very isolated compared to how much we see of the girls (minus Cat). On the note of Cat, while i dont think she was directly abused by her parents, her brother may have been kinda abusive due to his mental illness. Not to mention her parents may fight a lot on how to handle it or her brother fighting her parents which translates into her panic attacks when people yell (as shown when Becky and Jade split)
@@comfortloid2195 True. He honestly could just be a really screwed up person. Kinda like Joker, does things because he thinks its funny (animated one not the new live action)
I think her parents are pretty neglectful considering that episode where jade and beck fought, she kept saying I’m under my bed as if they argue a bunch. Plus, there was this slap video where Cat talked about how her dad said she talks too much, which could be seen as them not listing to her
When I was little I literally thought rex was possessed and as an adult watching the show I was MORTIFIED thank you for the video they're always amazing and hearing you talk about how no one owes anyone anything is what we all need
Fun fact: The voice actor for Rex was the same actor who portrayed Gavin on Drake & Josh. Candace's voice: Congrats on reaching 41k and your meals are free... in the empire.
I am glad that your parents actually parented you rather than letting the TV be a babysitter. Too many parents just think "oh its a kid show it'll be fine" and just don't pay attention. Like no doubt I was exposed to stuff way too early ie early tweens but that is because my family didn't want to parent me and I was a "good" kid so I got away with a lot.
Rex and robbie were presented to us a separate entities and its what let him get away with all the shit that he did. They really wanted us to feel sorry for him because he was an awkward loser but robbie had no redeeming qualities. He was an awful friend to EVERYONE and his stupid puppet was an outlet for his creepy sexual side. Also all of Rex's jokes about Northridge girls were wierd and not funny.
Can we also talk about how he once committed ATTEMPTED MURDER?! Yeah. Remember that? The episode where Trina almost gets killed and the guidance counselor tries to find out who attempted it? And then at the end, it turns it was Rex aka Robby who did it?! And the monster just sat there and watched as poor Tori kept getting accused of killing her sister?! Honestly, that ending line from "Rex", "Nobody suspects the puppet", says it all. Robby has a ton of elements of a misogynistic, schizophrenic, emotional disturbed sociopath, and yet we're supposed to be fine with it because most of those elements are from a wacky puppet. He's basically The Ventriloquist from Batman, but whereas that guy was both played for laughs AND horror, Robby's concerning persona is treated as a big joke!
the episode where robbie was like “i’m not going to cover for you ever again rex” he was such a manipulative liar omg i actually believed he didn’t try to kill trina.
I got upset at that one episode where they were all trapped in beck's Rv and they had to share water and he drank it all before anyone else and started crying
I feel like Cat didn't get any or much attention at home, and her parents didn't spend much time with her (because of her brother and his problems) so she had this need for attention and its probably why she's so naive. Robbie saw that and gave her loads of attention to manipulate her into liking him, which was super hard to watch. Cat was so precious and cute and Robbie was vile and disgusting. Robbie treated women so terribly throughout the entire show. He constantly stalked them, made moves on them when they didn't want him to, he was obsessed with women so much, he literally had cardboard cutouts of Cat, he'd show up uninvited and wouldn't care if someone wanted him there or not. Overall a terrible and toxic person. He constantly forced Cat to do things she didn't want to (as mentioned in the video) which probably relates to him "Playing Pirates," with Cat. I remember in a few episodes where people mention "Playing Pirates," which is freaky and creepy when you think about it. Cat clearly didn't like it and once Jade looked at Robbie and questioned him about if he did it with Cat. I feel like that relates to how pirates have that "I take/do what I want," mentality, which is scary for obvious reasons if it's anything like what we think it is. I just hate him, so much.
I never watched Dan Schiders creations so I don’t have much to say but the times I was on Nick and Victorious came on the puppet just made the character mostly. Rarely any character devolpment just a creepy puppet. Congratulations on 40k!! The road to 100k.
And the whole “Playing Pirates” thing just seemed so creepy to me. Cat was generally terrified to play the game with him which makes it seem like Robbie did things to make her be that scared of simply playing a game of pirates.
I actually really liked Robbie when I was a kid, I guess I never noticed how creepy he was. Dan has this weird thing about making "Nerdy" characters really creepy and weird for some reason
@Luke Jameson what about Simon from Alvin and the chipmunks, double d from Ed Edd n Eddy , Alex from down town , Peter Parker from marvel Spider-Man and spectacular Spider-Man and the Spider-Man movies , Cameron from total drama revenge of the island, baljeet from phiness and ferb and ravi from Jessie?
Imagine if Robbie had multiple personality disorder. That his choice of being a ventriloquist is his other personality becoming a physical being. Like Robbie is Robie. But Rex is his other personality who bullies Robbie and takes control most of the time. If you look at it from a mental perspective.
Robbie is just pathetic and creepy, and don’t even get me started on Rex. It’s so creepy that a teenage boy like Robbie had a puppet that he carries around everywhere with him but also insults Robbie and hits on Tori. Robbie is obviously the one controlling Rex. If you look closely, you can see Robbie’s Lips moving for Rex. He had a creepy crush on Tori and he hides in her bushes. Tori’s dad’s a cop as Tori reminds Sinjin so why isn’t Tori’s dad arresting Robbie for hiding in his bushes? In the Diddly Bops episode of Victorious Robbie sings about eating broken glass. He has so many problems and he’s the most creepiest and most awkward kid ever. I laugh at the episode WiFi In The Sky where Tori, Andre, Cat And Beck kicked Robbie off their video chat because he was irritating them and they didn’t wanna Talk To Him And honestly I don’t blame them either. I can’t stand Robbie and his friends can’t stand him either. Robbie is also really immature when it comes to Rex. Rex should have stayed dead instead of coming back to life again.
Me too, the fact that I actually shipped him with Cat as a kid just somehow made me feel gross out, I can't believe I actually liked him and now i feel really bad for Trina, Cat, Tori and the people who were involved in such a situation like that
I've literally had a grown ass man tell me dead serious "I'll wear you down eventually" after I had already said I wasn't interested in the slightest. So yeah. Media matters. Keep doing what you're doing 💖
Robbie made me uncomfortable as a kid and I hated Rex so much. Revisiting the show now, Robbie and his disgusting puppet (read: mouthpiece) needed to stay 10 feet away from any woman. I watched a few clips to refresh my memory. He asked Cat out of nowhere if she wanted to make out with him and she called him gross. 🤢🤢 She gets uncomfortable when he starts saying that stuff and it's played off like, "Oh, you!"
My favorite characters were always Andre and Robbie. Looking back I can see that it was actually sick and was easier to pass those jokes off “innocently” since the world wasn’t as aware.
@fire boss 101 Mossityer Andre was always a great character. His friendship with everyone was always wholesome. He was an amazing artist too and was honestly better than Tori. When I was a kid I wanted him to be the main character instead. I mostly liked Robbie because I found him funny. The fact he was always wimpy made me laugh and the way he tried really hard to get with girls was hilarious to me when I was younger. I loved his dynamic with Cat when they collaborated with each other. That’s why they were my favorite. Now that I’m more aware, Robbie’s comedy isn’t as funny but Andre is still my favorite character.
I think that's why they made that production choice. They knew kids are naive, and that they don't know better when you personify something like a downgraded Muppet. It's a free meal 🎫 to pass off a lot of gross shit.
I wish Robbie's character was mostly about how he had a feminine side. I love when people go against gender stereotypes( but I don't like how it was portrayed as bad however) but they kept pushing this awful misogynistic, Creepy side of Robbie and used his puppet to make it okay cause it "wasn't him it was Rex" which dude that puppet is not a living thing stop blaming everything on Rex. Like Bruh Robbie is also a full on psycho. He legit cut Trina's harness but it was apparently "Rex" even though that makes no sense. Like ugh
So many people can't take "no" for an answer and I agree that it's in part because of the media we watched when we were kids. It's so common for these persistent characters to get their person of interest in the end and it's so frustrating! I really liked the "Straight Male Logic" video by T1J that touches on this topic. He talks about how some dudes think that they are entitled to someone's attention just because they're attracted to them. And it shows how some people give more importance to their horny-ness over another person's safety and comfort
You forgot to mention how he’s sort of disastrous. You mentioned Robarazzi and the harness incident, but you forget the time he got a little too curious and got the entire gang arrested for killing the chancellor’s octopus, the time he broke an entire counterpart full of plates from Nozu, or the time he dropped Cat’s mom’s boss’ skull, despite the fact that Jade already told him to put him down. Also, being creepily obsessive with someone is one thing, but Robbie was like this with pretty much every female character (even though Rex was mostly the one who communicated the creepy comments towards Jade). It’s kind of hard to take I Think You’re Swell seriously when he probably “loves” the other female characters just about as much. I initially found Cat talking about dying her hair afterwards a little disappointing, but I’d say he deserved it. Also, the kiss at the cowwow was quite uncalled for. He’s a total mess in the Christmas episode. Completely disregarding his inappropriate positivity towards André after he just got a D, the woman basically simped three times throughout the episode. First, he gave Cat an extremely extravagant gift for the secret Santa thing. That might’ve just him being a good person, but you could also see it as donating hundreds or thousands of dollars to a generic female Twitch streamer. Cat even kissed him as a thank you. However, he did something very similar with Trina in the same episode. He helped her with the Christmas tree because he said she might hug him for doing so. It’s already quite sad to do in general, but doing it right after you got kissed for another arguably redundant favor is even more sad. Oh no. It gets worse. He forgets about both of the latter scenarios when Beck “gives him” his former-bully as a secret Santa gift. In an extremely unpredictable turn of events, he finds his former-female bully attractive. So yeah. The man got excited about three different girls in the same episode, and that’s just wrong. Also, him helping Tori with her tech theater test sounds quite like a simp move already. Having the cardboard cutouts just makes it so much worse. How did he even make those?
I honestly pity robbi more than anything. He's just seems like he has a lot of internalized hate towards himself and I know that his relationship with rex is supposed to be used for comedic affect but it was just sad and in some parts psychopathic. Like when he basically tried to kill Trina. That was messed up to say the least.
He honestly could've used therapy. Maybe it couldve helped him handle his emotions better but even his parents were just beyond trying to help him. They probably didn't even realize what Rex was for him or did and thought it was a good enough coping mechanism, which is crappy parenting.
@@xXx-ji5ph yeah I feel like that was apart of the problem. He never got held accountable for his actions or when he did they weren't serious consequences. Which is why I feel pity for him. He already had problems and his friends made it worse by just accepting that behavior.
As someone who never really watched a lot of these shows and movies, mostly cuz what I saw turned me off, it's nice to see someone point out all these toxic traits from the characters and the writing and such. That’s why Beyoncé had the Sasha fierce alter ego bc it gave her more confidence and fearless energy when on stage and once she completed it, she killed the Sasha fierce alter ego and became her own person
This right here! I thought the same thing, I really thought he was innocent and Rex was just this malicious persona.
Same it didn’t occur to me
I was old enough to know that, irl, Rex would be a puppet being completely controlled by Robbie's will, but I figured that since this was a work of fiction that meant Rex could actually be a distinct individual in his own right.
You read my mind. It honestly made more sense to me that Rex was actually possessed than Robbie being a daily ventriloquist when I was a kid. Until this video, I still was skeptical because of how the show portrayed Rex.
honestly Andre was the best male character of victorious
he was the only sane one. the one bad thing he did was eat someone’s pie, the others were all cray-cray.
i literally love him. favorite on the show
I’m glad he got the most screen time of all the male characters. I never shipped Tori and Andre romantically because I liked their friendship too much; it was the best part of the show.
Beck wasn't that bad either
@@byronthompson2708 He definitely wasn’t bad, just pretty boring most of the time.
The character of Robbie kinda pushes that narrative that “nerdy, quiet” guys are all like creeps and that’s kinda sad.
@@corimoon3360 Nerdy guys are not usually incel creeps, and that stereotype in a show doesn’t push the narrative that they all are like that.

Something I realised is Robbie and Sinjin are essentially the same person just to different extremes. Sinjin makes me nauseous but he never actually harmed a person. Their both weird, creepy and have stalked one of the girls. How has no one called the police on them?

I'll never forget the way Cat got scared when Robbie suggested they play pirates. That always made my mind run wild.

I get him not being mentally stable but he tried to kill Trina
Yeah when jade asked cat for fake blood for her play (I think) Cat’s brother got 4 gallons of real blood.....clearly her brother is not sane

To paraphrase Lindsay Ellis “Entertainment is the one part of kid’s lives where it’s okay to say who cares if it sucks, it’s just for my children.”

Manna Steel oh yup I thought that might've been the case but I was afraid I was wrong
@@Ashineesa nooo you were right
Manna Steel I was hoping but yea, this is all dans fault. I hate him so much lmfao
I always thought Robby had multiple personality disorder and Rex was his way of manifesting one of his alters.
Agree
And the whole “Playing Pirates” thing just seemed so creepy to me. Cat was generally terrified to play the game with him which makes it seem like Robbie did things to make her be that scared of simply playing a game of pirates.
we in for a ride
ITS ABOUT TIME WE TALK ABOUT IT 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I actually really liked Robbie when I was a kid, I guess I never noticed how creepy he was. Dan has this weird thing about making "Nerdy" characters really creepy and weird for some reason
@Luke Jameson what about Simon from Alvin and the chipmunks, double d from Ed Edd n Eddy , Alex from down town , Peter Parker from marvel Spider-Man and spectacular Spider-Man and the Spider-Man movies , Cameron from total drama revenge of the island, baljeet from phiness and ferb and ravi from Jessie?
i always had a bad feeling about robbie’s character. also cat deserved better than robbie.
robbie one moment assaults trina and the next almost kills her
Imagine if Robbie had multiple personality disorder. That his choice of being a ventriloquist is his other personality becoming a physical being. Like Robbie is Robie. But Rex is his other personality who bullies Robbie and takes control most of the time. If you look at it from a mental perspective.
Honestly, Robbie being bipolar could explain some of it, but even Robbie was a creep, not just rex.
YES, I’ve been waiting for the Robbie Shapiro read
Dang, I used to like Robbie.
It's probably because I used to watch that show as a kid and didn't really understand most of what Rex said...

I saw Rex and Robbie as two ’people’ but wow my childhood mind is 🤯
There was a point there where I started to completely forget Robbie was the one playing Rex and I let him get away with a lot of shit
Like ugh
Now I see why his mom left him.

Exactly! And off topic but you're so pretty😳
@@Ashineesa omg thank you, you're so sweet ! 🥰
sacred hatreds no problem😊
this must be why my mom and aunt banned me and my cousin from watching victorious when I was younger
and i completely understand why
Be thankful that they kept your mind from being poisoned.
@@danecranberry6025 we still watched it when they weren’t around 🙈
YESSS GREGG IS SO DIFFERENT FROM NIKKIE MAXWELLL
nikki is a bit annoying but she’s a good person, she volunteers at animal shelters and cares about her friends and family. greg is a sociopath.

Robbie is a freaking weirdo. He's not the cute and quirky type, he's the you shouldn't even give him more than 5 minutes of your time type!
It makes me feel a little more validated for not having liked them. Also Robbie is a classic example of "adorkable misogyny". Which there is a great video on it floating around on YT that I think everyone who defends Robbie should look at.
