in terms of the explanation of this amphibious pump demo, so far, you have the most impressive content and easy to understand. however, can you make a demo using the amphibious set up or as an external pump. by the way i also have the same pump. its energy efficient.

Ito ang napaka ganda na pump ang nagamit ko, sulit ang dami kong palpak na ginamit noon katulad ng aquaspeed n bingo ako,, pero itong periha ok n ok cya ito ang kasudo ko mahina pa sa kuryente pero sa glow rate ok n ok

Dont go for aquaspeed life span is only 1.5yrs and in first 6 months its slowing down

Sir may tanong lng ako, ang problem ko is dead leaf's naka stuck up sa impeller Kaya always masira pump ko naging slow flow na in the long term, Kaya gusto ko Malaman if periha 5000 Malaki ba Yung impeller compare to seabillion, Kasi I think if Malaki cya then it's good enough to pump the debris with no issue
Sir, may I ask if the water turnover is also accurate? Since the periha electrical consumption is always below the watts listed per strength level.

@@thekoipondexperience1259 good day. do you have the update for the accuracy of the water output in L/hr? I've watched some of your videos and you verified all of their water output exept this one. Hope you can do an update soon, just by looking at your vid, i think this pump is built like a tank and is a very versatile pump.

hi sir! its the most impressive in all the demo videos on this sub pump brand. by the way can you teach me how to use it as an external pump? i am currently using this sub pump for my pond
what i mean is the identical sub pump, periha pb 5000. as i previously asked your opinion. i am planning to change my filter system to a much easier maintenance but i want to put the periha on top of my settling chamber and it will pass through the pump as amphibious mode to my biological chamber. i dont have much space on my koi pond, and they are getting bigger. .i wanted to increase the space by removing 1/2 of my filter. will it work? i am using a gravity feed system. i have research everything on the internet and even on the handbook of the product itself, they haven’t discussed thoroughly on how to set this up as an external pump. i hope you could help me with it. thanks a lot! stay safe! and keep uploading videos. its very helpful and it could attract others to become a koi hobbyist

Gonna also test the myth that pumps running outside of water consume less wattage compared to those pumps submerged.

It might take a while bro, having an issue with my PB5000 unit. But I'll explain it in the next video.
Sir question is this size of pump enough for a pond with the size of 4m×2m×1m ?
Hello Bruno, you have 8,000 liters for that dimension. The PB-5000 is small for you. So I'd recommend the Periha PB-10000 for your setup.
The price will not be that big a difference. And then you can set the PB-10000 into Setting 1 at its lowest output. When the time comes that you need a faster flow rate set it at setting 3 for a day or two and it will get the job done.

Is the flow rate indicated accurate?
Cannot comment yet at the moment on flow rate. But just so you know Periha is one of the better brands out there.
@@thekoipondexperience1259 Ohh okay planning to switch to a periha pump bc of its energy efficiency which i do find a bit sketchy bc it promises a high flow rate for low energy 😅

Why does Periha have low energy requirement, first its one of the latest hardware you can find right now. And it also uses inverter technology. And its purchase price, Periha is one of the more expensive hardware here in my country. So better technology that comes with a price.

Hey bro, this is the smallest of the PB-line Series amphibious pumps. I will use this for a 3 drum filter set-up.

Kapag sa external etong PB-5000, need ng priming set-up. Hindi kasi ito hihigop ng basta if walang priming, yung water vacuum sa loob ng water inlet pipe. Sa height naman dipende sa laki ng pipe, if 1 inch inner diameter na pipe lang kaya kahit 5 feet na height. Pero if mga 2 inches na at best siguro 3 feet. Kaya pa naman higher than that kaso hindi na efficient para sa model PB-5000.

Good choice Periha. At the lowest setting sa Periha PB-5000 is 3,000 liters per hour. Assuming na maganda yung flow rate sa overflow ng tank and then sa sump rin, pwede naman bro. Yung overflow from the tank talaga magdadala neto. Yan main concern.
Sa buddy ko kasi Rio 12HF gamit, nasa 2,700 liters per hour yun and kinaya naman nung setup.

sir, Mahina po yan.. kc 50hz frequency po yng nareview nyo.. napansin ko mahina buga pra sa 4k-5k lph. China version po yan pro hinde fake.. 220-240v/50hz kc gamit ng China. d2 sa pinas 60hz ang frequency. dpat po yng nabili is yng 220-240v/60hz which is available nman.. pra lumabas yng tunay na power ng pump. you can check the sticker dun sa body ng pump pra sa volts at frequency.. i saw it 50hz
You are correct Eric. Na raised sakin itong issue na ito about 50hz & 60hz electrical machines by Roy Joseph Lopez, isang pet shop owner. Did not think of it much at first pero after a few googling big factor pala itong 50hz unit running sa 60hz set-up ng Philippines.

I'm baffled how you can recommend this pump without testing the actual water flow. You simply take the 5000 l/hour at face value. That is quite a leap of faith you are taking with a made in China product.
