Is it possible to check console results of a website “without” actually connecting the website to a google account, like copy pasting some code for tracking purposes?

I'm still stuck at trying to verify. I'm using the same email as my google search console which is set up but it's still saying I need to verify by uploading an html file to my website, which isn't working.
you should go into more of the verification process. Such as how to add a tag or html file to your site.
The reason why I haven’t is because the process is going to look different for every website platform. It would be too many to juggle. I’m hoping the website platforms have support docs to help users with this!

Thank you, but I think there was an update to Google Search console and it isn't showing in the acquisition area anymore. :0( I have to contact the Google Analytics team....Dammit!!!
Yes, there was an update, but they've made it easier! The setting is now in Google Search Console itself. Go to Settings and then click on "associations" under property settings and connect it there :)

Is this not done right inside of Google Analytics. There is the search console setup inside of queries. Can you someone comment? I am super confused by this video.
Hey Maria! So yes there is a section for some of this stuff in Google Analytics but Google Search Console is an entirely different tool. Google Analytics is geared towards website traffic and how users are using your site. Google Search Console is specifically for getting data related to SEO & Google itself. Google Search Console gives you insights to performance, sitemaps/crawlability, errors picked up by the crawl bots, and more. Hope that helps clarify :)
@@MariahMagazine I saw my google search console was already in effect. How do I get it into my GA report? i saw it gave keywords, clicks and impressions but I want to see rank for those keywords. And I want it inside of GA. Inside of queries there is a "setup" and I clicked and property already has my domain in it. How i get the data into that report?
