- Jeanne Damas is an icon for a new generation of Parisian woman, thanks to the ultra-feminine and quintessentially French style she has cultivated as a new mother and businesswoman. Flirty floral tea dresses, boyish jackets, peasant blouses and vintage-look jeans are all hallmarks of her look. Here, Damas shows Vogue how she gets dressed for a wedding, a fashion show, a trip to the park or a summer’s evening out. Her essentials? A mannish Rouje blazer she wears with everything, vintage blouses picked up on trips to New York, slim-fit jeans, a Patou basket worn nonchalantly in the crook of her arm, and New Balance sneakers for walks with her baby. Then there’s jewellery: including a necklace from her father’s baptism, and rings by Louise Damas, her sister’s brand. Damas also shares some of the tricks she uses while navigating her busy schedule. Heading straight out from the office? Just trade your ballet flats for heels, add lipstick, and go. Watch the video in full for seven style lessons from Jeanne Damas.

Style is as effortless as her beauty. Loved everything.
I'm back to this video over and over again whenever I need some inspiration in life ❤️
The third look (the little black dress) is adorable!!!
She's not even trying and rocking every outfit 🌹
She tries lol French women have been trying to look "not trying" ever since they are like 7. By the time they hit 15 they got the "I don't try I just look nice and don't care" down pat.
Not trying is going out in uggs and yoga pants lol
Never seen a French girl in gym gear! Of course she is prepared to disguise it! Lol
Love her! Her makeup range is excellent! Brilliant videos to advertise the liquid lipstick! She’s so chic!
Whenever I think of the quintessential Parisian fashion woman, I think of Jeanne Damas
People hating on her for no reason. You know, there's people who actually like this kind of fashion and she's one of them, gladly she made a line of it and she's doing good. If you're not into this style, then you can go find yours and stop the negativity. There's various type of "french fashion" or fashion overall, she's one of them. She is an IT GIRL because when she peaked she really did influenced a lot of people and they wanted to be like her, like it or not. There's so many problems in the world and you decide to hate in this women who's having her best life.
It sad.. Negativity always comes from negative people its their own problem to solve. Happy Womens day !
Well, criticism isn't the same as "hate". Not everyone has to LOVE her style, and people have right to express it here in their comments. Chill. Besides for many ppl so called "parisian style" is simply boring. That's it.
@@Lina-cy2yc Some don't know how to do "criticism."
@@vtmup3063 true. But other some don't know how to handle it (criticism)
I AM IN LOVE WITH THE VALENTINO BLOUSE !! IT IS A DREAM
I liked her brand until I bought a dress and noticed the quality was comparable to that of forever 21 but for Reformation prices. Nice try promoting her stuff tho! Lol
true.
I heard this review a lot. Thanks
Design is definitely unmatched, but yes I was a bit disappointed to see the dresses are mostly viscose. Reformations quality is terrible, nothing is lined, most things are polyester, at least Rouje has wool sweaters and not acrylic.
Her knitwear is nice
I have her celeste boots, they are hard leather, you can’t walk around more than 30 minutes though I am a heel person and my weight is just 50 kg. I have her heel sandals came out years ago, name is claudia, style is amazing but so uncomfortable, I didn’t even wear even once. but maybe other rouje shoes are comfortable, these ones I bought belong 3/4 years ago.
I recently got bordeaux color lamp leather jacket, seems good quality, let’s see if it holds up. I definetely pay the style first because there is not many alternatives.
Love this! So chic.
so nice of you to let her speak her mother tongue :)
From all the outfits I have only her new balance shoes!! 😩 I love all her looks!! She is amazing!! ❤
Fantastic. Love all the looks more as she describes them.
This is my kind of stile fashionable but simple i love it
jeanne❤️❤️ love her brand
my new fav series
Please do one of this of Alexa Chung, PLEASE.
I do not know who this woman is, but I want to be her best friend. Tres chic and charming style!
really wearable and pretty
The 1 first were amazing 👏
I was really surprised, that she has a lot of things (bags and shoes) , which looks very old with abrasions, scratches, even dirt sometimes - but she doesnt care and she loves them. Really nice to think about it, especially in our perfectionists world! 😉
Absolutely loved every outfit!!! So simple yet so chic 😍
I need a knockoff of that prada sweater now
Same - if anyone knows of one please post the link!!
my kind of style
is that lip palette available to buy anywhere? it's gorgeous
its from her line
It's from her line called Rouge!
Fun! 🌼♥️
I love it 😻
It’s the last one for me
Delightful!
1st time I see this channel video. This video is really nice. Thank you :)
beautiful woman 💗
Which brand Is her robe from?
What new balance is she wearing? Does any one know the number??
574 classic , the second pair you can find it easily.
@@elluc1510 thank you!
Your pretty ❤❤❤

Where is her beige longvcoat from? 🙂
Trop jolie😘

Goals.
je cherche ce type de vidéos pour mon apprentissage de français
Anyone knows where her coin necklace is from?😊❤
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
There was a point were the "effortless french girl" style was a novelty and it was interesting (and the women who originally did it still are icons because they actually had the "je ne sais quoi") but at this point it's just repetitive and boring. Of course there's nothing wrong with women dressing that way but they if they enjoy doing so but they just shouldn't be hailed as fashion icons or it-girls imo.
so true. who did it originally? I have always wondered where that style (now trend) comes from..
@@jotzu9055 that style came from Jane Birkin and she is not even French!!
I love you mami
But it was all filmed at once tho! HAHA Lovely anyways :)
I like your pretty video is very awesome.
remind me of Dakota Johnson vibe
I like her style and loved the brand until now but quality dropped a lot .. for this price …
Make it cruelty free
I love her. But I always wonder, does she not speak any other language other than French? Or do they let her talk in French because the 'effect' is better ... just wondering
she probably doesn't speak English ! Many people in France are not confident with other languages
these cliché french girls are becoming sooooo boring
There are some real, unique French women with excellent style and there are other ones trying hard to look like they are one of those effortless French women and that mimicking is do obvious for others😉 For example Frencoise Hardy and Jane Bikin are example of those who are real stylish French women, while nowadays Insta “French” women belong to second group.
Maybe their style isn’t for you. Some never tire of good taste.
then don’t watch them 🤷🏻♀️
@@Nalanrd Jane Birkin is British
@@ghjgjlmhjkjk yeah, but she's a part of french culture
Sorry if I disagree but, is it me or is there someone else who doesn't like these outfits? Each look sems very boring, safe and similar to each other like if there is not risk at all.
She is terribly boring. The French cute thing is fake and boring.
she seems to be a lovely and very pleasant person to be around with. but these outfits are horrible! the color combination, the cut, that dress -.-
@@jotzu9055 very true
Jeanne , les baskets ce n'est pa possible !! Elles ne sont pas jolies du tout !! À part cela tout est parfait !! ❤😊
I find her attitude slightly arrogant-smug generally, don’t know what makes me think this way. She is like putting too much effort to look effortless, kinda ironic. I used to follow her on Insta but in the photos she constantly having that attitute and unhappy face, dragged my energy down. Sulky face doesn’t make anyone more stylish or elegant, just a small reminder…Overall I can say I usually like her fashion style, which was the reason in the first place to follow her. Well more her “summer style”, not so much her winter style. Especially that “parc” outfit…She needs to get rid of those vintage jeans which makes her look twice her weight and she looks like a sloppy housewife. That cute jacket couln’t save it either.
maybe because a Parisian? xD
@@Florinou1989 Could be. But not all Parisians are this way, this must be french born insta type, especially if they have no other talent than being an insta person😉 There are plenty stylish French women who are and were author, actress, singer, ect and they never had that attitude. Less you contribute or create more you get smug I guess 😁
I didn’t perceive any arrogant or smug attitude from her. On the contrary, I find your comments quite harsh and negative. What you’re saying about her is the exact impression you’re making on me. Weird.
lol maybe she likes those vintage jeans which makes her (i guess only for you) look twice her weight
couldn't agree more
dirty shoes, no point in having designer shoes if you don't look after them
Another man.
As someone with a phobia to jewlery I find her difficult to look at
Why French for British vogue... I hate subtitles 😒
