I react to this video because there are many things said that are simply not true and a few things said that qualify as mortgage fraud.
Some of the advice given in the original video is valid and may help you build your credit score. Much of the other advice isn't valid and would qualify as fraud if someone were to attempt to practice it in real life.

My 2 general rules in life are
1) never trust a guy who wears sunglasses at night.

I wrote mortgages when I was 18 and can confirm that these guys are either intentionally misleading people or are committing fraud

I like how he keeps mentioning $400k-$500k credit cards, like it's a standard practice for credit card companies to give out credit lines 4-8x higher than people's annual income. Outside of places like NYC/LA/etc, most regular people don't even have $500k mortgages.

500k mortgages are insanely common. You must realllly live in bfe because there are farms outside the entrance to my neighborhood and these are mostly 4-500k houses in the middle of where.

I was part of an experimental program in jr. high where we had classes that taught us about understanding taxes, how credit worked, how to manage bank accounts and investing, and even things like interacting with the local government and contacting our representatives. Sadly, for whatever reason, the experiment ended after a few years and was never integrated into the normal curriculum.

@spencer hey man I love all of your videos the last part of the video at 12:45 is actually incorrect... I’ve been fixing and flipping houses for many years and also like you mentioned very passionate about helping people with their credit.... it is actually true that you can use a credit card for a down payment to fund a fix and flip, and it is true that you can get a hard money lender to finance a flip house with 10% down and 100% of the rehabs included in that loan... I was flipping 6 houses at a time last year and yes while I wouldn’t recommend every just go out and flip 6 houses at a time because even 1 flip is difficult for many! 🙌🙌🙌

@Deborah Hearne There are a lot of things that prevent you from just buying a house after another. I don't know what's the name but in my country is called Bank Association, there is also the Superintendencia of Banks. They manage those informations. If you go to buy a house and they see you have a mortgage they just denie another loan because they want you to pay the money. And yes, the mayority of people just don't have the money to pay two mortgages. Even with rentals.
@@AngelaMerici12 unfortunately there are ways to buy houses for business purposes here that are legal 😂😂 it’s actually easier to by a multi family home to run out than I is to by a single family home to live in. Then you use the income from the multi family home to fund your single family home to live in. Nothing Kevo says in this Vidoe is false. His numbers are high, yes but that’s the field he plays on. It’s nit for the average joe out the gate. But his information is helpful if you put it to practice

Personal credit cards (not charge cards like Amex) usually don't have limits that high. Occasionally, some business credit cards do offer limits that high, but it's very rare.
If the guru you follow wears a Rolex watch, gold necklace, sunglasses and film his video near a or in a luxurious car, stay away. 😂😅

I know personally as someone that just bought my first house earlier this year, mortgage lenders do not look at the base number of your score. They go deep into your credit because they’re not gonna lend you $300,000 if you had to use someone else’s card to get your score up. Those bozos are selling lies 😂
You're absolutely right. I'm an authorize user of my boss AMEX credit card but, that doesn't mean that if I apply for the credit they will give me 100k. Maybe 1200.

You can obtain a multi family property with an FHA loan (3%-5% down), live in one unit and use the other unit(s)for Airbnb/rentals.

@@CurtisMcClelland true! But this isn't airtight. In our market area airbnb units are highly regulated and since they are taxed differently the bottom line isn't usually that great. Plus most of the multi family properties are 600k or more so one will still need at least 18 to 25k for down payment which is a substantial amount of money for many people.

I think Kevos downfall here is that he wants his “premium” content behind a paywall, but he needs a easy sounding scheme to hook a potential customer. His background is in less than squeaky clean operations, so why not use an obvious scam to bait someone in?
